Russia got itself tangled into what looked like similar, if not, the same treatment from joining WWI; but all inverted.
The western territories were lost again, and the reds fought against occupying former Entente/Current Allied members… again, hoping to create another ally more aligned with democratic ideals and brought back into the fight, just like during WWI. However, Germany won first, so this renewed White(?) Russian authority answered to the nazis this time instead of the reds answering peace with the German Kaiser. And the new authority also endured yet another ongoing war (against the Chinese this time) from the day of its founding, during the waking days of their centralization of power. All again, happening after signing a treaty with Germany.
It’s messed up, but funny how it ended.

Turkey always declares on the soviets after WWII. Its a dumb bug that paradox refuses to fix
