- Welcome to this week's special 5 DIY Home decor! This week we are doing a Mystery Box Challenge Furniture makeover with special guest Kacha from Kacha Furniture!!!! We challenged each other to use our favourite chalk painted furniture techniques and sending a Mystery box to each other with items we can only use on our furniture piece! Check out what I sent to @Kacha on her RUclips Channel “Kacha Furniture”. Next, with all the treats Kacha sent to me in my box, I am going to show you how to make you own home decor floral vase out of wine bottles and a floral image transfer by re-design with Prima image transfer! Next, I will show you a Jean Jacket makeover using from floral image transfers to give a fresh new look! Next, I will show you a chalk painting dry brushing technique and a vintage decoupage image to make a old antique look. All these projects are ASMR diy home decor friendly.

The chest of drawers is a piece of art! Love it!
I use the decoupage paper and always struggle with blending the edges. When you feathered the edges and mentioned how you wanted the edges to look more like a painting, it was like ding ding ding! Now I know how to blend those edges! Every video you post, I always learn something new, ALWAYS! THANK YOU my friend.

Great pieces once again! I love your accent chair, transformed and added character to it. Your husband’s cabinet was phenomenal! So interesting to look at-I hope he loves it too! I was thinking (only a suggestion) for the old weathered pieces w decoupage, if you tear off the edges to the paper and then connect them w paint for a cohesive effect, it adds another layer of weathered-ness for the look you’re going for. 💁🏻♀️❤️🙌🏻

Your videos are very inspiring.
When I do a decoupage, I tear off a very small piece of the outer edges. The knurling that then arises is much easier to eliminate almost invisibly. Love your dogs.

All of your projects were great this week. I really love the decoupage paper on the chest. It's gorgeous !!! I did see a tip this week for removing labels from bottles. Heat them up with a hair dryer. I haven't tried it yet so I'm not sure if it will work. Thanks again Christina for creating all of these beautiful pieces !! I love how you end the week with Raphel. I love watching how you paint furniture and use those gorgeous vintage decoupage papers. My kitchen cabinets and living room wood pieces are maple. Between them sits my mahogany dining room. I need to repair and refinish an antique buffet for a Coffee Bar. I have thought it best to strip off the black varnish and use mahogany stain, but your painted furniture makes me wonder if I dare introduce a new color. I plan to put pink roses in the front recessed panels of the small doors.

I use IOD transfers, moulds, clay and stamps the results are similar. As an artist I so appreciate what a difference these products make. Thanks for a really wonderful vid.

I always perceived abstract as two dimensional - Van Gogh in the sense of how I think when I see it, such as Starry Night. That picture was a copy of what he saw at the sanitarium. The History Guy made a really cool video about it. Then there is Freemason Roehrick - his paintings were childish, cartoonish - but the Freemasons liked it so they built The Master Building in NYC to commemorate his work. Blech. I love your style so much more. Victorian style is what I think it is. Spectacular, in my opinion.
