These watches are great for the gym or any fitness activities. It's excellent as an mp3 player so you don't have to carry around your phone. Do not expect to use this as a secondary phone. It is not compatible with the Wear OS applications either. You'll need to check with your cell carriers in the US for Cellular Band compatibility even if you want to insert a Sim Card into it, to use as a secondary phone. The Bluetooth Sync to your phone works great though, so thats an option. But we know that most Chinese Hardware is not well integrated with American Software like Googles developed Android OS, AKA open source Linux, Wear OS or Apples IOS. For whatever reason, Korean hardware usually has better Hardware/Software integration.
Well, I've learned enough through watching your videos to feel comfortable scratching Microwear watches off of my list. I will though, give them points for creativity (if you count magically "creating" data). 😀
I'm seriously concerned about this one, but that H2 with edge to edge screen and longest battery life keeps me interested in them. Then you add the H1 with removable bands and totally IP67 waterproof and they definitely have my attention. I will, however, "watch them closely" when it comes to health data in future devices.
Hi, I liked your video. Can you help me out with something please. I got the watch a week ago, but still can't use the sleep monitor, it supose to be automatic, but it is not, and when I press the option is the same as your video, nothing happen. Thank you for your help.
Great great video. Exactly what I've been looking for. Very few videos on x2..Deciding between x2 and no.1 f4. Have u done air reading for f4 as well ? Which do u recommend x2 vs f4 ?
Hi friend. Excelent review. In your opinion, Which one is better between Microwear X2 smartwatch and ID107 PLUS Smart Sports Band?. Because I've been searching the features of both and I watched your reviews, but I've not even decide which one I will buy.
They're there to make it look like a nicer watch than it really is. Chinese companies do this all the time with their marketing material. Apparently they don't care how misleading they are.
How to change or correct time and date on the X2? And another thing; My mobile pairs with the X2 but there becomes no connection between the X2 and the FunDo APPs in my mobile. Could there be an easy way to solve this?
Well of course! It combines the standard PPG (green diode) technology with the ECG (electrical plates) for high accuracy. ECG+PPG is definitely the wave of the future for health biometrics monitoring.
Well... I think that Mr. Ticks should test more comprehensively. He tests watches in a way that they should NOT be used and omits the relevant (intended use) tests. What I would really be interested in, would be a real-life test: put the watch on your wrist, do all measurments and then immediately repeat the measurements with some proven medical gear. Comparison of such results would I deem relevant. And, Mr. Ticks, please, please, please, RTFM before you do a review. Your misunderstandings and wrong assumptions do not deem a product worthless, but they say something about the reviewer. I have contacted Microwear about your "findings" and they answerd this: "First you need to know about the principle: Light sensor detects the changes of the capillaries of the skin. There is also a reflective particles in the air or the surface beneath, so there will be change data. As long as the data is collected through the skin, our accuracy can reach the level of medical level." I am thinking of buying the watch. And you, mr. Ticks, should think of a better way to test the products, because you right now are not providing your readers with relevant information at all (except that we can see the product in someone's hands and not just on the seller's images).
Thanks for your comments, Tomaz, and thanks for cleaning up the English a bit from Microwear (I got the same text they posted above and have added it to the show notes under this video per their request). I do plan on looking into this a bit deeper for the X2, but I'd like to refer you for now to this overall pulse test video I did regarding heart rate monitoring: ruclips.net/video/nzQ6E9Tjpxs/видео.html What I really need to do is either caffeine myself up to the max one day, or run up and down my stairs to get a steady pulse well above 100. Then read the "air" with this X2, establish a normalized value for "air", and then slap it on and see what it reads on my arm in comparison with the calibrated medical finger instrument. It's useless to show a traditional reading of 55-75 resting pulse when my actual pulse is in that range. Can't distinguish fake from real. I need a real pulse out of the standard range, and if the watch tracks it, then it's valid. If not, it's still measuring air. If you do get one of these, I'd really appreciate hearing about your results from experimenting with the heart rate monitor. Thanks again for taking time to post.
I think Mr. Ticks review was just fine. If you are still wanting a review after long-term use, I have been using it for almost 4 months. It does look like I have a newer version because the digital displays look different in style and color. For the heart rate monitor, it's very inaccurate. I HAVE tested it against medical equipment and it is almost always off by at least 5-6 bpm. Then it has an even harder time measuring anything under 75. Also, the time it takes for it to display the reading is anywhere around 5-15 seconds after it starts however you can set it to test your heart heart on a set interval through the day. Its nice for looking at day to day comparisons but not second to second. Since I was looking for a fitness watch for workouts this was kinda a bummer. It is completely waterproof for what I am willing to test it for (sink and shower). It's nice that It counts steps but it doesn't always seem to be completely accurate. It counts whenever you move your arm and it jumps up in weird increment. It is very sensitive when it comes to counting steps granted I like this because I feel other counters I've had are usually under the amount and this one is on your arm so they do what they can. The biggest problem I've had with the watch is the number of times it turns on without me touching anything. There is a "rais to wake" setting that I personally have turned off but it still randomly turns on and when I look down in 20 minutes into a marathon I didn't tell it to record. I do however enjoy the look. I choose the green as Mr. tick has in his video. It fits comfortable for me most the time and I greatly appreciate the small increments it can be adjusted in. It does have to be pretty tight to get any medical readings though and it left a mark on my wrist for a few days. If it's too lose the readings just never came up. I enjoy the sleep tracking and the configuration on the app. It gives a short analysis and a more detailed one right below. Another one of my main problems is the watch only saves data for 24 hours. You have to open the app and sync the data every night. For me, this is a problem because I don't remember to do this every night, so I have data for about every other day. I've yet to find a setting to sync automatically but there may still be a way I don't see. Then, last week when I updated the software on the WATCH, it reset every setting for the watch (on the app). You can set it to have an alarm and buzz on your wrist which I enjoy, but those are all gone. You can set it to remind you to stand up and walk around or drink water, but it sometimes just buzzes and doesn't display anything. It randomly buzzed with no display a lot so I ignore it causing both those great concepts to be useless to me. Overall I still enjoy the watch, but I can't say that you can use it for anything more than to look at your daily or weekly overall fitness (with skewed results because of the random "marathons" and extra steps)and you still have to remember to open the app every day. You get what you pay for and it's not a $300 apple watch, and even those had their quirks and faults.
This X2 looks very much like the Garmin Forerunner 235 !!! The external seems impressive, including the material use for the casing and the sapphire glass mirror. But seems like this Microwear company (come out with only 4 watch models so far) has not enough experience in the firmware to control the hardware properly. The sensor, cpu, etc are probably standards parts. They would probably need more R&D to know how to read the values off the components more accurately.
Totally agree. Seems they may have moved too fast on this one. It would be great if all the sensor problems can be fixed with updating firmware. I doubt this device supports any form of OTA updating though.
Got this watch ... Works fantastic but when I get a message ... The language on the watch is either Mandrin or Cantonese ...does anyone know how to change this?
Dear all, let me answer why there is data even X2 in the air: Light sensor detects the change of Changes in the capillaries of the skin , there is also a reflective objects in the air, so there will be data. As long as the data is collected through the skin, our accuracy can reach the level of medical level.
I have one of this, Product is sturdy built, but the monitoring is way off! Heart rate is not monitored during workouts, sleep is always added when you are sedentary during a day, pedometer counts higher than other peodemeters, about 20% higher and counts even if you are driving! Heart rate is inaccurate!
It should adjust the time to your phone time when you tether it or when you connect the watch to the Internet. Look in Settings under Date/Time for options.
The watch seems to look good for me at the first but seeing the reviews and comments of some users made me t think again before considering to buy. I now have a concern about the watch data. I would like to suggest the reviewer to do some tests in future with some sports activities. Performing the tests just by sitting in a room, won't give a results and accurate data. You need to go out and test to see how these devices perform at those conditions. Also if the results changes due to " Ligh sensor" what's the point of having such a technology. If that is a downside get rid off that technology
I would like to, but I've already reviewed this one by a different name. I'm trying to cut down on duplicate reviews unless they are Android watches with different firmware installed.
If you REALLY think the LF07 is superior to any of the other Apple clones, let me know and I'll see about getting it in. For now it seems that the twisty crown only zooms in and out on the icons, and I can't tell if you can select them through touch like on an Apple watch or you need to swipe screen to screen as with the otherApple clones.
Have one of this, Product is sturdy built, but the monitoring is way off! Heart rate is not monitored during workouts, sleep is always added when you are sedentary during a day, pedometer counts higher than other pedometers, about 20% higher and counts even if you are driving! Heart rate is inaccurate!
Sorry, I thought it would be pretty cool as well. But facts don't lie (except in politics in the USA), and I want to keep these reviews honest, so you see what I see. Can't believe this got through their internal approval process considering the quality of their other devices. Hopefully it will be a good learning experience product for them and their next band will have some serious ECG+PPG technology in it to make up for this one.
hello where can i buy a K88H with the best price, really is a good Smartwatch? make a draw there so we would like to win a Smartwatch hehehehehe. thanks it was an excellent video.
Thanks Roberto! I try and have buying links in the show notes under each review video. You can try that link first because often I get a good coupon price from the sponsor that sends me the watch for review.
Hey, not fake sensor ! First you need to know about the principle :Light sensor detects the change of Changes in the capillaries of the skin , there is also a reflective objects in the air, so there will be data. As long as the data is collected through the skin, our accuracy can reach the level of medical level.
so it's not something that we can avoid it. If that is how this function works, what is the point of having such a technology? Most of the time, the device will absorb the air and you cannot avoid it in outdoor and eventually it is gonna keep givin ng incorrect data.
Think about it, when you wear it in hand and the sensor touch the skin, data directly comes from the the capillaries, it is not the same as it is in the air, if you learn more about it , you will find other smartwatches are the same as we test
How the hell do I turn Bluetooth on the x2 watch so my phone can connect to it? The funding app searches but didn't find the x2 I'm confused and shouldn't be 😐
It's either always on already or selectable in Settings to be turned on, I don't remember for this watch. Have a look at the beginning of this video: ruclips.net/video/klnmUQN5ST8/видео.html Anybody have an answer?
ip68 is not waterproof, its water resistant and it wil survive a dip. But dont go swimming with it, it will definitly die. Also when talking about watches even smartwatches all companies should should atm or atmosfere. 1 atmosfere is 10 meters under water. Same as ip67 dont go swimming with it.
Wrong. Fake news. Misinformation. It's fine to swim with IP67 or IP68 watches and bands. Yes, it's water resistant, but darn good, like to a meter for 30 minutes, and even more for IP68. When they claim "Lifestyle waterproof" for something IP65 splash resistant, then you've got to worry about submersion, but I constantly dunk IP67/IP68devices with no problem. Oh and as for showering, DEFINITELY don't shower in hot water with any watch. The heated water CAN get in. Just sayin.
SmartWatch Ticks you do that but in a normal swimming pool its deeper then 1 meter so you dive to the bottom and your done. I hate this bullshit advertising. They also don't tell with IP rating that it's not for salt water either. Watches always have an ATM rating and if it doesn't have 1 ATM or higher I will definitely not buy it. There is no IP rating for swimming the first number is for dust second for water with 8 being the highest and you can't swim normally with 8 its water resistant and not waterproof the definition of waterproof means it never takes water in. So it resistant against water in very certain applications
Well first, you didn't talk about diving to the bottom of a pool, just swimming with a watch. Yes, that makes a difference if someone retrieves a rock in the 8 foot end of the pool. Second, how come some of the fitness bands include swimming as a trackable sport if you're not supposed to swim with them? I've even got some that automatically figure out your swimming stroke and switch into that mode. Pretty sophisticated for a watch not made for swimming. Another with GPS in the watch lets you set pool length and tracks the laps via GPS. Still not supposed to swim with it I guess. Gotta wrap it around your snorkel tube. Thanks for your input, but I'll stick with swimming with mine. Not diving, mind you, but surface swimming. :)
SmartWatch Ticks as long as you don't swim longer then 30 minutes or not to warm water or salt water or too much chloreen or well you catch my drift. There ones you mention have an ATM rating and not an IP rating. All watches even ones not made from swimming have an ATM rating because that's what watches use. Even the Samsung s8 is ip67 but let it dip in a pool and 80% off the time you can a new one. IP rating was made to show water resistance and dust resistance there isn't a rating for a sealed product ipx8 is the highest for water and that's not entirely sealed just enough to survive some time in very Specific parameters
I am Brazilian . And I really like your channel and I always tell all those interested in Smartwatch
Thank you Roberto! I am amazed at how global our audience has become. Looks like we are all interested in watches.
Microware x2 or no.1f4 which one do you recommend because iwant the sport mode...and id its on other watches or bands plz suggest...thank u
Im looking for a watch with continuous heart rate, activity tracking, and really good battery life? Any suggestions?

Bro Im looking for a budget smartwatch.... I got many choices now... Tell me which one is better under$100 or$110
does it really lasts 3 month between charges?

If biometric readings are important to you, check the review on the T6: ruclips.net/video/XnDKjJUgLRE/видео.html&
Thanks for the review, i cancelled my order :)
Always to try and see what you're getting. That's why reviews are so valuable. Thanks for watching.
does not synchronize, after updating, there is some way to return it to factory settings
Hi friend.
Excelent review.
In your opinion, Which one is better between Microwear X2 smartwatch and ID107 PLUS Smart Sports Band?.
Because I've been searching the features of both and I watched your reviews, but I've not even decide which one I will buy.
There a lot of my tech friends saying that the X2 is a really great watch if you don't need your watch to be waterproof.
Hi,
What "sport" should I use for spinning o indoor Sports?
Wow, that's a good one. Yoga? ...just kidding.
There were a bunch of icons around the watch face, do those do anything or are they just lonely icons to make it not plain?
From what I can tell they are just eye candy and totally non-functional. The active part is the small 96/96 pixel square in the middle.
How do you connect the watch to your phone, I can't get it to work? I can't even set the right time on the thing. It should be simple but it isn't.
What is difference between X2 And X2 Plus?
This one is only good for time, the sensors seem faulty/or not accurate. But the TOLEDA T6 still stands out for me.
Well of course! It combines the standard PPG (green diode) technology with the ECG (electrical plates) for high accuracy. ECG+PPG is definitely the wave of the future for health biometrics monitoring.
SmartWatch Ticks , exactly.
Well... I think that Mr. Ticks should test more comprehensively. He tests watches in a way that they should NOT be used and omits the relevant (intended use) tests. Then read the "air" with this X2, establish a normalized value for "air", and then slap it on and see what it reads on my arm in comparison with the calibrated medical finger instrument. Can you show more swim options?
Is there any app on phone? Such as mi band mi fit
I understand from Microwear that an app is under development. Check their website and contact them directly for more information.

How can you setup the time...
It should adjust the time to your phone time when you tether it or when you connect the watch to the Internet. Look in Settings under Date/Time for options.
How to change time on X2 plus
Thanks for the review.
any stopwatch on this?
Oops, sorry, no, I don't see a stopwatch on this one. I show all the installed apps in the video.
I know this is 2 year but
It does have a stopwatch ... check in the tool 😉

Do you know how to set time? I have X2. But i didnt know how to set time
Once you connect the X2 to WiFi, the time should set automatically. If not, check the setup for Date & Time in Settings.
Thanks for the reply. Will try this immediately. I'll get back to you and give you an update. Thank you so much
Unfortunately its not working
Mr. Ticks please do an review of lemfo lf07 which is available in bang good.
I would like to, but I've already reviewed this one by a different name. I'm trying to cut down on duplicate reviews unless they are Android watches with different firmware installed.
SmartWatch Ticks Oh... Ok... Can you give me the link for the review
Here are all the Apple clones I've reviewed so far: ruclips.net/video/At_oql5IoIw/видео.html
The closest match to this is the Banaus BS19.
SmartWatch Ticks Thanks Mr.Ticks.. I love your videos.... Keep it up!
If you REALLY think the LF07 is superior to any of the other Apple clones, let me know and I'll see about getting it in. Wow, good to know. Thanks for the honest feedback. It really helps. These are all things I can't know from a one time review.
Does anybody have the code to scan??
Check the show notes for a link to the tethering app.
All I understand so far is , you get o ly for what you pay for . If you want high quality with accurate data , it's better to afford some money
No matter what the product, that's a good rule of thumb.
I'm between X2 Smartwatch/EX18/NO.1 F6 Smartwatch...which one is better? Thanks in advance, bros.
I can't really help you as to which is best between those three. Look them over and decide which will best serve your needs.
めっちゃカッコいい
English please?
That means very awesome watch as I used translate tool
Kept thinking does see the tool in the plastic tray to change the watch straps there it is👆🏽
Yes, that's the special tool! I thought it was a regular screw driver, but it's the one for the bands. Yes, they are removable on the X2.
Great vid👍👍
Thanks. Glad you like it. This is why we need to test these things.
It's sleep meter does not work
Thanks for letting us know.
Geez fail on this one. Bummer-- I was looking forward to that one the most

so it's not something that we can avoid it.
Microwear Tech so there is of no use of having a smart watch if that is how everything works
How the hell do I turn Bluetooth on the x2 watch so my phone can connect to it? The funding app searches but didn't find the x2 I'm confused and shouldn't be 😐
It's either always on already or selectable in Settings to be turned on, I don't remember for this watch. Have a look at the beginning of this video: ruclips.net/video/klnmUQN5ST8/видео.html
Anybody have an answer?

In the next video you'll see why I need to keep them all. :)
ip68 is not waterproof, its water resistant and it wil survive a dip.

Wow, cool! Congratulations Fredrik!
