Where are the watches for people who don't go on exciting hiking trips in foreign countries but sit in an office all day then go out and have beers with their friends? I don't want a hear rate monitor, I want a B.A.C. monitor so I don't get a DWI in a sleek package.
I have a question I can't seem to find an answer to: will calendar reminders any of these smartwatches 'alarm' if the watch is not bluetooth-paired to a smartphone? I'm asking because I bought a Samsung Gear S3 and, while it pairs easily with my Note 5 and calendar reminders are pulled from the phone to the watch, unless the watch is bluetooth paired with the phone (and in range of the phone), calendar reminders don't "alarm". This is disappointing given that this was the entire reason I bought a smartwatch - to have something on me at all times that would have an alarm that goes off to remind me of calendar events. Can this watch do that? If not, is there a way to set a recurring reminder within the smartwatch itself? Eg. something that could be set to alarm daily at a set time, recurring daily, end date = "forever"? Again, I can't do this on my Gear S3. Thanks to any and all who can help me with this issue!
Sadly, no. I had no idea this would be so frikkin' difficult to ascertain. I've left queries on a number of RUclips sites and only got 1 response so far, along the lines of "I have to test that feature" and then never hearing back. I have contacted various watch manufacturers asking this question and never gotten a reply. I have even left a post in an Android forum and received no responses. Perhaps between the two of us, we can find the answer. If I hear anything I'll let you know, and would appreciate likewise.
Obviously the person that did this video has never used any of these watches, cause if they had they would of chose the Samsung Gear s3 Series. They are hands down the best Smartwatch and this Video appears to have been paid for by Casio, Just look at the amount of time each of those Watches got in this video. The Samsung S3 is more affordable and more features than any other watch in this video, period!
