I had no idea other metals leached into your water or food either, no clue. Ya, I totally love this kit and feel good about using it. Always appreciated my friend ☺️🫵🏻☕️🍁🏕️
They are nice and Ti is a great material for outdoors. But I have a Marlboro enameled set from the early '90s that works great still. The Coleman stainless kit I got from my grandpa is better than anything I can find today, and it was free, lol. I take a mix along as it's just me and the cats and a dog, I prefer animals rather than humans for companions while camping. Even my GF doesn't like primitive camping, but I have to get back to nature 3-4 times a year or I'll go crazy. I can't wait for snow here up North so I can pack into the woods with the mutt and spend a week in the cold away from the insanity that is modern life. Fire, food, fido, crossword puzzles and a tent in the forest helps a person clear their head and appreciate what they have.
There’s nothing better than being in nature. It has a way of re-centering the mind ☺️

It feels good to use a product that came from an actual box store in good ol Texas. U.S. designed and a lifetime warranty. Things are designed nowadays to just break down, die or stop working in a shorter time so we have to buy buy buy and feed the economy and we continue to get crap products, no customer service and ghosted if something goes wrong. That’s bs to me. It’s good to know they have you covered. Thank you for checking it out my friend and have an awesome Sunday ☺️
Hey Marlo! I am so far behind the times in outdoor gear, lol! I have a Coleman aluminum mess kit that has a pot, frying pan, plates tea kettle, and a ladle that folds down to about the same size as the Gritr. Since it's aluminum though, I suppose I've been nuking myself for years! 😆The finding that aluminum leaches into your food came out years ago. I believe it was in the '70's. If I remember correctly, it was linked to cancer. My mother stopped using aluminum foil to line roasting pans and wrap food when the studies came out. The only cookware I know of that's actually good for you because it leaches into the food is iron cookware.
The Gritr is a really nice mess kit! I hadn't heard of them before nor had I seen any of their products even in outdoor stores around here. It being made out of titanium is a real plus. It's super lightweight and very durable at the same time. There's a lot in a very small package. I think it would be a real plus to anyone's gear inventory! Good morning my friend. Ya, I love this mess kit but I’m still going to use my stainless cup here and there. Id rather keep everything simple if I can.. it seems like I’m lugging more and more out into the woods.. lol.

I got a similar kit i seed to try out, but im most excited to be able to use it as a double boiler. I can boil potatoes in the bottom and cook something else up top. Great info you provided, and very detailed. Thank you!
