Rocky Mountain ATV .....Rocks. So glad they hooked you up with all that stuff. They are a great company to work with. I order all of my stuff from them.
Excellent overview of your renovation. You've come a long way since buying The Tractor! RM ATV MC does great work with customer service and appreciate their videos. Glad you're getting their support and sharing your reviews. Love those foot pegs!
FINALLY!!!!! Always knew that some good would come back your way. You worked your butt off to get to where you are and it's nice to finally see your work pay off and for you toreap the rewards! Rocky Mountain is lucky to have you :) Congrats on the deal in the first place and can't wait to see some live action shots of you riding it. We enjoyed the reward at the end ;) and Jay is one lucky brother! *T4S*
Tyler! Bro! That bike is looking so sick! I love those black rims and all of the shiny little blue bits. I can't wait to see how that lighting setup works. Thank you so much for getting this all set up and ready for the little blue Utah bike. Thanks to the guys at RMATV/MC too! Customer for life!
Got me grinning like The Cheshire cat over here man! About time people started giving you props! I always love your epic sweeping shots, but it's the little things like when you speed up the bolts being undone that shine for me at times. That extra effort & attention to detail, like a boss. Really looking forward to the reveal! :)
I think what I like the most about this, is that a couple years ago you were the guy using a screwdriver to punch holes in your KLR exhaust to eliminate the chirping sound, among other cheap mods. Now you're doing a sponsored project bike? THIS IS DCAM! The best part is, you're still the same guy. Glad I subbed and been able to watch your channel grow to this point! Keep it up!
Just received a 100/100-18 Trackmaster, two tubes, rim bands for the WR and a new clutch cable for the KLR. Under $7 for an OEM clutch cable? Stoked to finally buy a Tusk chain grunge brush too. Welcome summer! Rocky Mountain ATV/MC is awesome. Thank you eveRide ADV for the great videos!
Never ordered anything from there before but for sure after seeing how cool they are for doing this, i'll definitely be placing my next order thru them!
+ApexIXMR You'll be happy you did! They usually have the best prices out there... and their in-house brands (like Tusk and Primary Drive) are fantastic value for money.
I have done business with Rocky Mountain for over 10 years on motorcycles, ATV's and UTV's. Great company. They stand by everything they sell. Almost always the best deal out there. Eben got some of that Tusk blingy stuff for my WR.
Finally! Looking good so far. You definitely didn't go as far as I did but it didn't look like you needed too. I stripped the entire bike down and had the frame powder coated. Hopefully I can start it up today. I'll have to shoot a reply video and show you my project and hopefully running.
Cool that they sent you some of their gear. I love their site and their Primary Drive stuff is great - I'll definitely be shopping through them for all my online stuff.
Woohoo! I was rewarded with staying till the end! When our Aussie dollar was something half decent, it was cheaper for us to buy things through RMATV even with the postage to here.
+JoeJoe Moto Yeesh! I remember with the AUD was killin' it. Weird how the economy shifts... don't worry, though, I think it's going to suck for all of us shortly. (Recession coming)
Great video, can't wait to see the complete bike! Just wanted to say that the cable that goes from the rear brake lever to the frame serves to prevent undergrowth or low branches catching the lever - at least that's what Zeta says the similar-looking cable on their lever does!
+eveRide ADV Right on!!! It's actually because of you that I chose to switch from street to trail. Just picked up an 01drz400e and an 03drz400e for $3700 total, and both already have street titles.
Thanks. You could have split this into a dozen separate installations videos and I would have watched them all! I made an error and downsized from a Honda 400R to a Yamaha XT250. My feet at least touch the ground now, but I only realized later that this bike is now too small. I plan on switching to the WR250 and I will follow your guidance on these upgrades. And please do more sponsored content! Your insights are always thorough, and most important... honest. I would support any company that gets a thumbs up from Everide.
+Steven Pelayo Thanks so much Steven! I think I will be doing some in-depth videos on the parts installs. Most are very self-explanatory, but still might be helpful :)
Dude that is so awesome! I LOVE Rocky Mountain! I go once a week at least! They are always so friendly and helpful! I love living close enough to just stop by the Payson store. The WR looks awesome! Nice job!! :D
+eveRide ADV Yeah, that's what you were saying! :) I actually just went trail riding for the very first time yesterday up by Lehi on my CRF250L. It was amazing! And I have to super thank you for all of your awesome tips! They gave me so much help! Especially your video on practicing riding while standing, shifting, braking while standing, and doing the figure 8s. :) I've been trying to find some places closer to Provo with some good trails. :)
Never had any negative issues with Rocky Mountain. Always get what I order at a price my low budget can handle, delivered surprisingly fast.Love the Tusk an Battle Born brands,
Hey Tyler, I just have to say that I love your channels.. some serious inspiration has been had whilst watching your content. At the end of April I'll be getting my little "M" on my license along with a DR650.. and I've figured out that adv is readily available and isn't a "one day" thing like I've made it out to be.. so CHEERS! and many thanks
+Christian Olsen Wooooohoooo! That's awesome! Yeah dual/sport adventure motorcycling has way outlasted my interest of motorcycling for "trendy" reasons like I bought my first bike for. So much out there to see!
Good stuff! I will have to get some bling for my 09' WR250F. I have bought a lot of stuff from Rocky Mountain ATV MC and they really great to work with.
eveRide ADV Ill admit that I dont comment on all of your videos. But I want you to know that I Like watching your videos along with CDS and Hermit. I dont live out west like you but here in the Central part of the USA your Videos are Much appreciated Keep up the Good Vids!
Fantastic video. Bike is looking fantastic and it was great to see the transformation. I will definitely be checking out Rocky Mountain for some of my next farkles.
Aweseome E-dog! Looks like we both got 250's at the same time. I may have to hit up RM for some goodies for mine as well. Can't wait to see the reveal!
Tyler, You're killing me man! We've got to talk about these release times. When you release an awesome vid, at the same time that I have other priestly duties, it puts me in a terrible quandary.
wow! what an amazing opportunity. love what your doing, I wish I had had known about the tusk dual sport kit prior to building my own wiring harness for my XR650R. keep it up man!
Very nice! That bike's going to look sweet when done! Nice change up to see some more wrenching on the channel. I hope this build brings a bump in subs for you.
Good looking bike! Rocky Mountain is by far the best place to buy from. The local shop in St. George is a great place, they always go the extra mile to take care of us customers. I have been very happy with my Track masters, I have about 1000 miles on mine still in good shape. Joe is a rock star! He took great care of me and my leg, Thankful he was with us that day!!
Nice setup going there, as for the painting, try this (not sure of your experience so doin step by step for you) with the part, soak it in Super Clean (purple jug in walmart auto department) to get any oils/grease/paint off of it, that will take about an hour of soak, when pulling them out use protective gloves (like dishwashing from walmart) use a tooth brush to remove anything hanging on. After thats done, rinse and dry it off, once totally dry spray it down first with a primer to get your paint to stick. after words spray 2-3 thin layers of your paint of choice (mmm smexy blue) letting them dry one layer at a time before doin the next. Now your once you finish laying the color on use a sealer spray, gloss/flat, doesn't matter, just effects shiney/dull for your paint. That sealer will put a layer of protection over your paint, the primer gives your paint something to stick to, and the clean from the start makes sure your primer can stick. Please note though, I have NOT done automotive painting, just home interior and exterior plus models, so can not guarantee how amazingly durable or successful it will be, but should give a good basis for you to work off of. Happy painting!
great video Tyler!I just have one thing too add about this....The T shirts man!!!! I need them! stickers and lanyards would be sweet for my future ride.😜
Awesome tyler, I too have had nothing but positive experiences with RM MC/ATV Both online as well as in their showroom. A great bunch of people and great company. looks like your mechanical abilities have improved greatly from the early days with the KLR. As far as aluminum paint goes you need the correct primer and paint for aluminum. I believe it etched into the aluminum to provide better adhesion.Krylon and Rustoleum both make paints for aluminum. I thank you for the video, my wife doesn't... because now I'm gonna be going back to RM for some of those sick foot pegs, shifter and brake lever for the DR350.
OK here we go. Great bike pretty much the same bike as me : ) just a smaller engine and a few little things. My bike has a lot of the same parts as your throwing on yours.if you wouldn't mind letting me know where you guys got the frame paint : ) i have a couple rusty spots as well near welds. Don't bother painting anything down there where your foot rubs. buy the plastic frame protectors for a wr400f and trim off the sub frame portion of the cover (as the wr400 had a steel one that is different). the rest lines up great. The good thing about the plastic cover is no matter how much ware you get it is still blue, looks good and its cheap. no more worrying about paint rubbing off. My nudie tank started looking pretty gross but I found a graphic kit that covered it pretty well and has the holes so the off-gasing won't make it come off. Looks great and I can still see the fuel level. I will do a walk around soon.... I love the kenda trakmasters and they are the best tire I have used so far for hard riding and the street. you guys are gonna be happy : ) I have the tusk street kit and it has held up well. I did have problems keeping the rear turn signals affixed so I just ditched em. The hand guards are junk. they rusted on all the hardware and they rotate in a hard crash often breaking the levers. The quality of the aluminum is good just the mounting and hardware are sub par. Just went with fastway guards that mount to the top clamps and cannot rotate. I think that is one place you just gotta spend some money. Super cool of RMATV to help you guys out with the build. Their connection with the average rider is great advertising and i will consider sourcing more stuff from them. I usually end up buying about half from them and half from eBay. Really enjoyed the video. Nice work Guys!!!
+EnduroRider NW Good stuff to hear! Any links on that frame protector? As for the paint, I'll have to look it up real quick. It wasn't a perfect match, but close enough for the parts under the tank and out of the way just to keep the rust from getting worse.
Hey Tyler, I love watching your videos. I have a WR450f street legal conversion and I wanted to share a problem I ran into that you might be able to avoid. The wire coming off the rear brake MC and running up the sub frame support has a tendency to get caught on my boot would either be pulled out or shredded. You might want to put some extra insulation around the wires for a little more protection and see if they can be tucked in to the rear or side of the support. Thanks to RM ATV for sponsoring.
Tyler! I was just thinking that instead of undercoating, that you could use a spray on bed liner material. There are spots like threaded holes you'll want to avoid but i bet that would work real well for high wear areas. try it out and let us know how it works compared to the rattle can paints.
Hey Tyler. as for the paint jobs .. I'd have gone for powder coating, especially for those heavy used parts. Powder coating is much more elastic and therefore does not wear off as fast.
Hey Great Video man! i am riding an 03 wr250f as well and love it! instead of painting your Guards and things i would powder coat them! Love the videos keep them coming!
Very very cool Mr. T, looks/sounds awesome and the guys at Rocky Mountain ATV/MC did a heck of a job with getting ya all the right bling. Looking forward to seeing the final reveal and the fantastic lighting addition! =0)
+DirtHog365 Man the light on this thing is going to be NUTS! I've already got it all installed and tested it out... it's seriously the brightest thing I've ever seen mounted to a vehicle!
OOOoooooo.... KLR goodies.... :-) got the tusk crash bars for my '08 KLR. awesome. a little vibration from them... but doesnt bother me a bit! awesome customer service.
+Wes Buhr Yeah he is definitely reaping the benefits on this one... well... for maybe 3 times a year when he flies out here. Other than that it's ALLLLL MIIIIINE! :)
A "heap" garage is a good thing. If you are searching for a certain tool, you find always a forgotten bling part lying around to mod your bike even more.
Nice job on this bike.. I am thinking of picking up this model bike. I am not sure if it would work as I am a 6' 300 lbs rider. I ride a XR350R today and it is all the power I need. I like Single track riding with a little fire trails mixed in. Thanks for all your help.
Oh bud, the boys at RM ATV really looked after you, I would love some of the stuff they have for my bike but being in Australia the postage price is just a killer :-( The WR is looking mint already, can't wait to see the beast out on the trails!!! Stay safe mate!!
With the stripped Phillips head screw (providing that its aluminum) use a pair of channel locks and squeeze the head really tight and turn it out. (Only do this if you plan to replace the screw)
Hey man i love your videos!!! just wanted to give you credit to the selling of my Harley and replacing with a DRZ400. Your videos influenced me to do so. keep up the good work. i live in Houston Texas and i wish i knew more trails to ride.
Hey Tyler. If I could give a tip for painting high wear try heavy duty roll on truck bedliner! Just make sure it's a commited ordeal because it can be ugly, but it's tough stuff.
Going to look like a new bike with the the plastics on. Interested to see the light setup shroud. Have to agree with the Seat concepts, huge improvement over the 2x4 that was on my klx. I don't recommend the trackmaster front tire though. Back is has a soft rubber so they wear quicker but for $50 up here you can't beat it. Front tends to wash out so after picking up tractionator directional I doubt I'll be going back.
+Denis Boucher That's good to know. I have the Kenda Parker DT on the front of the DRZ and really like it... maybe that'll be the next front tire on the WR, too.
The 2023 WR250F is an Awsome bike it revs all the way to 16000 rpm and with the competition ECU wow just wow you can tune the bike to what ever you want
I bought a set of Tusk panniers for my '14' KLR and when I showed them to a buddy of mine who I ride with he was amazed at the quality or product that they are. Then I told him the price... He has a set of Touratech Zega pros..
I'm waiting patiently for a TUSK gun rack, gun case and fishing rod holder to be manufactured. Killer looking bike bro. I order stuff from RMATV any chance I get. I also have a RMATV tattoo on the inside on my upper lip.
Man, I am so jealous. But I must say, there isn't another person on RUclips that deserves it more than you. Enjoy the fruits, my friend!
+Rubberneck Rides That means a lot! Thanks!
Rocky Mountain ATV .....Rocks. So glad they hooked you up with all that stuff. They are a great company to work with. I order all of my stuff from them.
And THIS is why Rocky Mountain ATV MC freakin rocks! Excellent customer service, like you said the best prices and they ship very quickly
Excellent overview of your renovation. You've come a long way since buying The Tractor! RM ATV MC does great work with customer service and appreciate their videos. Glad you're getting their support and sharing your reviews. Love those foot pegs!
Excellent. Was great to see the transformation to turn this old reliable into a shiny new toy. Always appreciate a tear down/build timelapse
+Sweetman Sounds nice and meaty!
FINALLY!!!!! Always knew that some good would come back your way. You worked your butt off to get to where you are and it's nice to finally see your work pay off and for you toreap the rewards! +Sum4Seb Thanks man! Yeah I hope it all works out well in the end for all of us! Rocky Mountain has been seriously great to work with.
Lucky bastard...this is what every motovlogger dreams of. Well deserved man! Keep up the good work!
Tyler! Bro! That bike is looking so sick! I love those black rims and all of the shiny little blue bits. I can't wait to see how that lighting setup works. Thank you so much for getting this all set up and ready for the little blue Utah bike. Thanks to the guys at RMATV/MC too! Customer for life!
+jaetheo For rreeeeeeal! :D
I used to have the exact same bike. I miss it so much! Such a great bike, most reliable bike I've ever owned!
Rad! it's good when good people do good things for good people. Keep on keepin on Everide!
Keep it up!
+42 Thanks man that means a lot! And if it made a difference on this bike, I'd still be bashing holes in the exhaust! :D
Congratulations Tyler!
Those guys at RM MC/ATV really got you some sweet stuff for the WR!
Can't wait to see the final build! :)
It be sooo fun to be able to just go crazy on your bike with a ton of parts like that

Wow, I had no idea! That thing is going to be bad ass!!
+minitstop I sure hope so! So far I'm having problems getting some of the plastics to fit and the rekluse clutch is a bit sketchy.
So Jealous! Looks awesome so far! Thanks RMATVMC for making this happen. And thanks Tyler for posting it up. Sick!
Cool that they sent you some of their gear. I love their site and their Primary Drive stuff is great - I'll definitely be shopping through them for all my online stuff.

Looking good there Tyman. I am looking forward to the next video.
Looking forward to this build! Just got a set of the track master II's and I think you guys will enjoy them. Keep up the great video's!

I love the kenda trakmasters and they are the best tire I have used so far for hard riding and the street. you guys are gonna be happy : )
I have the tusk street kit and it has held up well.
+Steve “SteveIV” Calle That sounds like a good idea! I'll definitely double-check it and make sure it's really tucked in there!
Tyler! I was just thinking that instead of undercoating, that you could use a spray on bed liner material. There are spots like threaded holes you'll want to avoid but i bet that would work real well for high wear areas. try it out and let us know how it works compared to the rattle can paints.
+mitchell baxter So far the rattle can job I did on them isn't holding up at all! I'll give the bedliner a shot :)
RMATV is great! I am a little biased though as I also live in utah and get that sweet next day service. Keep it up bro. Bike looks like fun.
+simplelife4six If only we didn't have to pay that pesky sales tax! ;)
Hey Tyler. as for the paint jobs .. I'd have gone for powder coating, especially for those heavy used parts. Powder coating is much more elastic and therefore does not wear off as fast.
Hey Great Video man!
i am riding an 03 wr250f as well and love it!
instead of painting your Guards and things i would powder coat them!
Love the videos keep them coming!
awesome timing. just bought a ttr 90 for my son. may need a little work, now I know a good place to get thing.
got the tusk crash bars for my '08 KLR. awesome. a little vibration from them... but doesnt bother me a bit!
awesome customer service.
nice build. your brother is one lucky man
+Wes Buhr Yeah he is definitely reaping the benefits on this one... well... for maybe 3 times a year when he flies out here. Other than that it's ALLLLL MIIIIINE! :)
A "heap" garage is a good thing. If you are searching for a certain tool, you find always a forgotten bling part lying around to mod your bike even more.
+Michel van Werven Hsahahahaha so true! "Hey I've been looking for this! AND this!!!" lol
in sc shipping takes three days, if on the weekend it arrives Wednesday, occasionally Tuesday.
Nice job on this bike.. I am thinking of picking up this model bike. I am not sure if it would work as I am a 6' 300 lbs rider. I ride a XR350R today and it is all the power I need. I like Single track riding with a little fire trails mixed in. Thanks for all your help.
spray on bed liner is wicked tough ive had good luck with it on high wear parts
Oh bud, the boys at RM ATV really looked after you, I would love some of the stuff they have for my bike but being in Australia the postage price is just a killer :-( The WR is looking mint already, can't wait to see the beast out on the trails!!! Stay safe mate!!
With the stripped Phillips head screw (providing that its aluminum) use a pair of channel locks and squeeze the head really tight and turn it out. (Only do this if you plan to replace the screw)
+Stegsaur Definitely replaced that screw. I couldn't get it out until my buddy brought over an impact screwdriver. What a life saver!
Awesome....
3 things
locktite
safety wire the masterlink clip
etch primer for raw metal....
Etch primer! That's what I was missing! And yeah, for my WR250R I just need to use locktite continually, right! :)
+Gnarlington I'm going to give it a shot and see how it pans out!
Keep up the awesome work. Thanks
Btw that wr looks fantastic.
+thebmxtimmy Just a few more bits and it'll be complete!
Great stuff
simply genius
The 2023 WR250F is an Awsome bike it revs all the way to 16000 rpm and with the competition ECU wow just wow you can tune the bike to what ever you want
You could paint the black bits with a bed liner? Also you need to prepaint aluminium and stainless with an etch primer. Dont know if you did that?
+Nerb1 Nah I just took the lazy route to see if it worked. Turns out it absolutely didn't :D
I bought a set of Tusk panniers for my '14' KLR and when I showed them to a buddy of mine who I ride with he was amazed at the quality or product that they are. Then I told him the price... He has a set of Touratech Zega pros..
+Samual Iam I'd love to test some of those out on my KLR!
eveRide ADV The Tusk's or the Touratech's?
got any plans to upgrade the suspension? Sweet video though!
+Brian Bundridge I believe the suspension has already been done, but we'll see how we like it after we take it on a few rides :)
+eveRide ADV saweeet!
I'm waiting patiently for a TUSK gun rack, gun case and fishing rod holder to be manufactured. Killer looking bike bro. I order stuff from RMATV any chance I get. I also have a RMATV tattoo on the inside on my upper lip.
That's a good spot. I put it under my eyelids. A bit of a hassle.
+Dan Hillam (adventureDan) Yeah but then you always know who to buy from, even when you sleep! :D
