Its so cool that we finally have a limiter plugin that guides you toward a correct use of lufs for streaming (or at least is the first I see, maybe there are others). Not that a mastering engeneer would need that if he understands correcly how lufs normalization works in streaming platforms but most people talking about it on YT, which I guess are amateurs, don't. They always have this unrational fear that if they go louder than the platform target the boogyman will eat their dynamics and I feel like nobody understands that you actually have to go louder that the target in order for it not to be compressed, you just don't have to overcompress every style of music at -6 lufs just for the sake of loudness because it will be normalized at the same volume of lower lufs so you will not have the wow factor caused by the "louder is better" effect.

Another great review Michael! That's the best limiter on the market for me! The saturation provoque some aliasing tho. That's my favorite limiter, I've got very well familiarized with it and I got it from 3 months now and it can achieve amazing amount of loudness with very low artefacts. They should allow us to oversample after the saturation and also the interface should be more focused on the sound rather than in telling you what loudness you should achieve for a certain material. I mean, meeters are amazing, but I know what the CODEC of the plataform and the normalization will do with a certain amount of peak and integrated LUFS material. Can someone tell me what is up with RUclips and the volume being so bad! This isn’t you, it’s 75% of RUclipsrs. In my car, the dialogue is at a 17, they play some of their music and I have to turn it down to 12. And I’m watching videos on LUFS, compression, and Limiters! The other day I had my tv at 63 and had to lower it to 16!!! My normal volume is 12-14 on my tv and car stereo. But still, thanks for putting out the video.
i keep moving my fader up and down . Your speaking voice documenting this video and the actual playback song session are totally at 180 regarding volumes. Can you try using a little bit of compression to control the volume differences or just add volume on your voice? thanks. other than that, i love your videos
I just got into personal computer digital audio recording. I record ambient city urban will my Pentium be able to boot this up in Audacity? Will I have to configure DOS or BIOS?
How would you rate this VS Newfangled Audio Elevate Mastering Bundle -- Was going to buy Elevate but this seems to offer more features like the LUFS settings and the auto settings. I do have the Eventide Split EQ i would use with it.

mike, do you ever actually limit masters to -1dB?
Is it Mac M1 compatible native?
Not yet since we're waiting for an update by PACE that natively support Apple silicon - but we expect to release the M1 native version in early 2022.
