Reggie Bush opens up about the depression he battled early in his NFL career because of the NCAA probe he and the USC Trojans faced because of claims he and his family profited from his collegiate career. Bush hopes a recent multi-million settlement the NCAA paid to his former position coach will help clear his name, and potentially lead to the Heisman Trophy taken away from him being returned. #ReggieBush #Heisman #NCAA

Watching Reggie as a kid was so awesome dude was Electrifying at USC he forever my college G.O.A.T

When he switched hands vs Fresno State when he went around his back

Playing football in YFL I was #5 kuz my dawg Reggie bush USC just some cail kids we sum dawgs 💯💯💯💯
We all know shady wasn't lying you could see Reggie hit that nervous laugh tryna play it off and get him to stop talking about it 🤣
I was thinking the same thing 😂

real shit lol
Word bro lol... Tried sayin' shady's lying smh like nah bro , UR LYING 🤥... U can clearly hear Shady say "ii cnt lie"
Yea me too
I wore # 5 in every sport in HS because USC Reggie! I’m thankful he was able to tell his truth. Thank you I AM Athlete for giving him this platform!!!
Yooo that’s funny because Reggie was the pure reason why #5 is my favorite number today and why I always went for #5 first for any sport I played!! Respect to Reggie and the I Am Athlete Podcast!
Me 2!!!
Man I could watch Reggie highlights for hours. But listening to him talk about life after football and how he’s realized how much more there is to life, especially as a father and husband. That made me tear up a little because I’ve been through that too. I never played after high school, but I had to go through realizing football wasn’t all that mattered too. And giving up football was the worst time in my life because I hadn’t made anything else important. Now being a father and husband, I just have so much appreciation for anyone who makes family the most important part of life. God bless you Reggie!
Reggie bush told on himself if you’re really paying attention lol .
@@Expensivetaste8 I didn’t even say anything about that. Why did you reply to me?
@@daltondavidson7997 regggie smashed his girl he hella mad lol
I watched him score his first NFL regular season TD against my home town Steelers. I knew he was a dog at USC but was nice to see his game transfer to the league.
Knowing Reggie and his family personally....He is a humble and honest man....He and his family have always been great to my kids.
😂😂😂😂
@@joshchung2178 What is so funny?
If you do know him personally, please let him know that I - a mom who he doesn’t know exists - care deeply about he and his family. That he is better than the worst thing he’s ever done and that he deserves kindness and care. ❤
I hope he gets his trophy back but if not 😘, acknowledge his sadness but don’t let that break him. I believe in him. 👍👍
I hope he reads this but sometimes people don’t read replies because of the negativity.
If Reggie is so honest why did he cheat and break rules at USC !
@@bobanderson6675 ....What rules did he break? How did he cheat?....
I like how he keeps on track with his story every time they try to interject while he’s speaking
thats y he keep saying lack of evidence and nothin else
Reggie is the player I wanted to be growing up & the reason why I’m a USC fan. I’ve always wanted to hear from him about what happened. Give my GOAT the Heisman back
Justbombs in the building!

✌️✌️
JustBombsProductions I enjoy your work and the content you put out and to see this side of you as a fan is awesome
Daaaamn legend in the comments
Reggie is hella humble. I hope he's doing much better mentally. You can definitely tell life took a toll on him. Hope all who love him keep him close, his eyes have a deep concerning look.
Took a toll on him how?
He works for a network & making commercials
I remember when Reggie refused to talk to me at practice and at lunch because he already knew this shit was going down [way before getting invited to New York], but I didn't find out for many months later what was up. Man I was pissed at him for that and it was really weird spooky shit. But a lot of water has gone under the transom since then, and they better give him his freaking Heisman back.
@@ahmedhared2011 seems like sadness behind his eyes. But very real.
Bro what?????
This show is honestly one of the best group interview roundtables I've ever seen. The way they let their guests really talk at length without interruption, and the way Marshall really pushes guys to open up, it's really amazing to see and honestly even kinda groundbreaking. Really fantastic work y'all!
His story needs to be told in a documentary format. Gross negligence from the NCAA.... Reggie was innocent by all accounts. Hopefully the NCAA right this wrong. Fight On love you Reggie
Watch the ESPN USC doc “Trojan War”
Netflix special
Ohhh I've seen Trojan War... Great documentary but another one is needed from his point of view
@@justinhaigler415 Even as an Irish fan I thought it was BS they stripped him of the Heisman.
Reggie is the single reason I loved USC growing up and still today. I was in 5-6th grade when they had that crazy run with Leinart and Lendale. After hearing this, Heisman Committee need to give this man his trophy back on live tv with an apology
Its gone happen soon I hope very
Ole Lendale White wow you sparking my memories.
Growing up a life long SC fan and watching Reggie and lendale was amazing. I’m glad I got to witness SC in their hay day. Truly special
Heyday
My College GOAT. I grew up watching Reggie Bush at USC and it was amazing!!!
Big up's Charleston White keep doing you Big Facts

They took the Heisman from this man, but it still doesn't change the fact he was the best college football player the year he won it. Reggie Bush was incredible the year he won that trophy. I hope you get your trophy back bro because you deserve it.
he was incredibly that year and the year prior.
Absolutely…1000%
Shady is HILARIOUS... the way he kept calling reggie out was too funny
Reggie I appreciate you cutting Brandon back off, when he cut you off. Thank you ! 👏🏽
Mannnn
Somebody had to cut him off
Reggie: “Now you can benefit from name, image and likeness”
Shady: “You would’ve cashed out, well you already cashed out”
Reggie was THE MAN..most exciting college player Ive seen my GOAT. Shady right he Inspired a generation frfr everybody wanted to be Reggie bush
PAC and SHADY together is legendary!!!!! 😂😂😂😂 B fell into the most perfect situation
Made a whole generation fall in love with football. Thank you 5!
The greatest College Football Player I ever laid eyes on - pause*
I’m 45 years old and he’s definitely up there in my opinion as far as running backs I seen
I'm glad Reggie got to tell his story. So much was told about this but no one asked him. Thanks I am athlete for giving him platform to tell his side. Kudos
Barry, LaDanlian Tomlinson, Reggie are my all-time 3 Favorite RBs
I get goosebumps watching they talent
Mine are Emmitt Smith , Reggie Bush , Marshall Faulk.
Reggie Bush should've owned 51% of RUclips stock when they sold to Google. He was the only reason we watched RUclips in 2006-08
I’m a proud Georgia Bulldogs fan till the end but Reggie Bush hands down my favorite college RB all time, even in my top5 in the Pros. The way bruh was toting that bit, getting in n out of cuts, stopping on a dime, juking, changing directions then when he got in a foot race he burning you🙌🏾🙌🏾🔥🔥🔥. Reggie Bush a 🐐 n theirs nothing to debate💯
No one brought up Reggie’s face when that plate of food showed up. When he was talking about how hungry he was lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
54:05 what about it? He’s straight faced and talking 🧐
Shady definitely breached "bro code" running his yap about specifics of his USC recruiting trip, considering Reggie's current legal fight with the Heisman Trust. Spilling such tea as to the car he observed Reggie driving was very messy and entirely unnecessary. Besides, it's highly likely ALMOST EVERY Heisman winner & 5-star recruit (including Shady himself) received a litany of "impermissible benefits" which ran afoul of corrupt NCAA rulebook. So why do your guy Reggie, supposedly your collegiate hero, such a disservice?
Some people don't think before they speak, that was so stupid
RIGHTTTT
Best college player I’ve seen in my lifetime! He made USC a must watch every week
I been commenting " REGGIE BUSH " on every sports podcast just about. This man is severely underrated. So humble. He has thee best HS tape. Go RUclips it rn.
Brandon Marshall has grown a lot🕊️ you can tell he's working on himself n how he handles himself with his new members n the ppl he interviews. One love brother
Yea he not trying to over talk every one voice still annoying tho 😂
@@todd6646 lol you funny but you right tho
damn another dude commented that he talked over Reggie the whole time.. I'll see I'm at the beginning of the episode.
@@mariuscoleman9419 which is why made the comment cus he did cut Reggie off but he caught himself multiple times but also Reggie wasn't going for it lol Reggie was like " WAIT LEMME FINISH" every time lol
Yeah I think Brandon interrupting is just a narrative people are trying to continue no real weight to it
Reggie is the greatest Trojan ever -- not for his on-the-field accomplishments, which are astounding -- but for his character and example of Fight On off the field and the way he's conducted his life. As an alum, he is my all-time favorite and a true class act through everything he's been put through. He's an amazing example of character and class and always has been.
Wrong!!!!!!!!!!! OJ is the greatest Trojan ever, Bush had to return his Heisman, meaning he did something illegal while he was playing or USC, that's not a guy who is in the greatest conversation, stop that
OJ and Marcus Allen said hold my beer
@@jsn23nc yeah Marcus Allen, the way he dealt with his relationship with Al Davis is beyond professional. I don’t think there’s a single nfl player who would still try to play football in that situation.
Reggie was one of my favorite Running backs ever time he touch the ball it’s was like watching a movie 💯🔥🔥🔥🔥
I was born In 96. For my childhood Reggie Bush the GOAT. NCAA 06 Reggie rival Madden Vick

He couldn't !! ???
He changed B Marsh mind too so many times you see stuff get reported and never talked about by the person being accused that the media runs with a narrative and not truth

FACTS
Reggie bush was the one that made me love football I didn’t know anything about it till I always seen him on sport center making crazy plays..THANK Reggie
Reggie Bush was hands down the greatest running back I saw when watching college football when I was in high school. I’m from Miami so I got to see Frank Gore Willis McGhee Clinton Portis play non of them was on Reggie Bush level on god! Definitely a goat!
same my boy. I'm from South Miami and grew up in the 90s/00s. Gore's grandmother was a "mother" at my church. Seen all these guys plenty growing up. Reggie, in college, was better than them all. He was a cheat code.
Willis was not as many highlights but easily would've went top 3 had he not hurt his leg
Reggie brought a lot of fans to the NFL...
Give the man his flowers 🌹🌺
Big facts
B Marsh cracks me up 😂 “are you over it?” Man this isn’t even finished yet! Lmao
Hahaha...I know bruh I thought the same thing...how many times did that man sit across from him and talk about how much it broke him.
I was in high school when Reggie Bush placed at SC. He's the reason why I became a Trojan fan and why I wanted to go to SC.
52 mins in this dude is speaking the truth of every college athlete! Literally the hell I went through and you're sitting around like damn wtf do I do to eat!
I dont think he is spitting the truth. I never had to worry about food and things. Those of us at Football and Basketball players at these big time programs, are not hurting. Especially, if your a big time star. You literally have access to things that normal students dont have.
That boy Shady is hilarious!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Reggie is what made me start watching college football . Living in California , he was him. I’m from San Diego and it was nice having him for us
Huge USC fan from LA, Reggie the man. Watching Reggie play got me into football as big as I am today.
my hometown hero growing up in 619 and hearing them give him back his trophy is music to our ears and also shaddy for letting the viewers know where the eye black area code trend started with the GOAT!
Reggie had me glued to the screen 10 yards a carry 🐐🐐 give that man his dam trophy
Reggie is so media trained man, you knew he wasn’t getting dirty as Marsh likes to say. You can tell Pac, Shady, & Marsh we’re waiting for more details but Reg has been trained since he got to SC about how to answer questions. This felt more like a 20/20 than I Am Athlete interview.
If I'm not mistaken, he's still in the media.
Thank you guys for getting him on. Greatest College Player of all time!!
False. He aint greater than Charles Woodson. Charles Woodson literally dominated all 3 phases of the game. Charles Woodson was so great he's the only defensive player ever to win the Heisman. And he won a national title at Michigan. And was a NFL hall of famer that won a super bowl.
Man Reggie that Dude…Real Guy#5
If you we're born in 94. Reggie bush is the greatest college football player you have ever seen
Facts
If you were born in 1954, Reggie’s still the greatest college football player you have ever seen
Debatable
@@tjtgaming7232 who do you have in mind. My guy
@@darrellpaige3846 I'm bias because I'm a miami hurricane fan. But outside of Miami Darren McFadden comes to mind before Reggie bush. Bigger impact. The NFL made a offense based off him lol. Calvin Johnson was the most athletic. The man went to GT a school that was known for option plays and made them throw the ball 😂. But outside of athletically and just the best college player I seen it will be Larry Fitzgerald for me. Vince Young a close 2nd then Tebow
B Marsh is in the wrong business. He just wants to get “messy” without listening to what’s being said. You can tell it was bugging Reggie cuz he’s being sincere and Marsha still trying to get “messy”. Tarnished the quality of the show. Thanks to PacMan & Shady for being better.

They actually have a rapport and Brandon typically takes the Devils Advocate approach to interviewing.

What a great interview! I like Reggie speaking his truth for ones. The camaraderie between all of them, is what makes these types of athletes interviewing athletes shows special.
shady gotta know what NOT to say sometimes....I'm sittin here like "bruh shut up so this man can get his name cleared." shady the type when his homie call and say "don't lie where was i at last night?" he gonna spill all the beans.
Yeah, shit was out of line but Reggie kept his professional.
Dude lack tact.

Reggie Bush was on a whole other level than anyone on the I Am Athlete cast…SPIRITUALLY. I like Reggie 10x’s more than I did prior to viewing this podcast. Brandon, please allow the guest to speak uninterrupted. Some questions you don't have to ask if you're willing to listen. Let them tell their story.
Reggie Bush is one of the most gifted college athletes ever. Period. The only other college athlete with that much impact is Vince Young. USC was relevant during his time at the school. Commentators were literally saying that the Heisman Trophy pose had to be redone to signify the Reggie Bush leap.
Charles Woodson impacted Michigan on all 3 phases of the game. Way more impactfull. Led Michigan to a national title and the only defensive player ever to win the Heisman Trophy.
Im glad dey added Shady cause he funny as hell 😂...ik ppl usually dont like arrogant ppl but i actually enjoy hearing him separate his self and say he better than everybody🤣🤣
Don’t like BMarsh continuing to ask “why here!?” Dawg, stop acting that way, stay humble and keep it pushing. Ofcourse there’s always 3 sides to the stories. We’ve heard both, now “we” the audience can decide who is who. Dope interview, but you should’ve just kept that to yourself.
