I originally belong to Jullundur and watched this video sitting at my home in Los Angeles, California USA>
Back in the 1980s, I was in my 20s and working in Delhi.
Did Delhi Jullundur Delhi on my motorcycle countless times.
I also did overnight winter bike journeys between the two cities.
Just exactly like what you show in the video ................ cold and fog.
Motorcycles I used was Yezdi, Rajdoot Yamaha 350, 1957 Triumph 650, and a 1954 Sunbeam 1100.
Those days there was no cell phone, GPS etc ................ well I never had the need for any navigational aid since I knew the entire route like the back of my hand.
Rajpura Eagle's nest was then a petrol pump with a small restaurant.
None of this haveli etc ................... I stopped at truck dhabas.
Typically leave at about 10pm and reach next morning by 7 or 8.
A lot of my journey was done following a bus. The exhaust provided warmth and I got a clear way following the bus , thus avoiding the heavy fog.
And plenty of Police nakas because my bikes had a Punjab number and Punjab agitation was in full swing .............and I am a Sikh.
