Mike, this is wonderful. Thank you so much for your help. Please keep up the good work! Sidenote: thanks for not trying so hard to let everyone know how cool and clever you are while pushing an agenda/product. Its quite refreshing.
With reaper being know for its flexibility and customization. I'm surprise metronome is so basic. Really wished it has subdivision options. I don't think it's that difficult for them to implement it in a near future update. Holding my breath. Don't let me down cockos!
Very cool. Do you ever use any metronome plugs? I used to have one forever ago (long gone on some defunct mac) that would allow you to have tons of different sound options. Drummers loved it because they could choose which sound was going to annoy them... Great videos! Keep up the good work!
I've not tried any external metronome plugins. If I'm honest, I guess I never thought to look for a metronome in plugin form, so you have me curious. I've just used midi and various virtual instruments or samplers to load or create a desired sound.
@@chrispysaid I sense a slight amount of humor 🥹 You can, but the primary reason for using ReaSynth is to use different times that might be more suitable for the performer
I do, though I am not necessarily doing this channel to advertise such services. Do you have a question or something that I might be able to help with?
@@340kmusic9 gotcha. I may do some videos about those in the future, but I'd like to recommend a rather old but helpful video to get you started at learning some of the concepts. The way this guy presents the material helped me greatly, his visual aids were fantastic ruclips.net/video/91qs3fux5HY/видео.html

Totally works! ✨️ Very helpful and informative! 🙌
Thanks, I remember seeing a Cubase video about the flexibility its metronome has and it had me wishing REAPER had it. This is good enough for me.
Thank you Sir, this was very helpful
Thanks Myk.....

I definitely would love a more flexible native metronome option
