Before I always felt frustrated that these great Filipino artists are not well known in the US but now I feel bad for the people there because they were fed with overrated artists with mediocre talents. I stopped listening to mainstream artists after discovering Morissette. She just set the bar so high for me that I no longer get impressed by other artists anymore. Thanks for this reaction my good sir. You just barely scratched the surface of this generational talent and quite possibly one of the best if not the best vocalist on the planet right now. Next, try her cover of Andra Day's "Rise Up" on the wish bus. Guaranteed to blow your mind. That performance was so phenomenal that RUclips took it down because it's gotten way more views than the original. They reuploaded it but RUclips took it down again because it still has gotten way more views. If RUclips didn't take it down, it could've gotten 500million views by now , possibly to a billion.

I like to think that she is Philippines trained. Everything from karaoke, stage, Broadway, pop, classics ... she does them all and mostly live. Even sitting on her bed playing keys and singing like an angel. Just having fun is the best description I can offer

I don't know if you know Babymetal, since you mentioned kpop, but Babymetal is more of a JPop/metal fusion. I'd love to see your reaction to them. I'd recommend Monochrome, Shine, and Headbanger. Also with Babymetal, I ALWAYS recommend watching them live as that is where they shine brightest!

Hans can you also please check out ALAMAT? I feel like they're the PPop group with one of the best discographies, and their main vocals are much stronger in the R&B sound. I think you'd love them!! Also, they famously abolished the "visual" position because they believe that Filipino beauty standards must be diverse, in fact one of their members is half-Black American. Their song Maharani (great queen) features BINI Jhoanna in the MV. I also really love Dayang, and they have studio session vlogs for each song recording. So getting to hear their raw vocals during rehearsal and the recording in the booth is AMAZING.
Her voice is phenomenal and the way she convey emotion is incredible “wow”! Just love her she’s incredibly amazing!!!
