How can I tell if the display is real? Like the phone is real but maybe the screen was swapped for a cheap one.
I just want to let everyone know that a refurbished phone is perfectly fine. As long as you know its refurbished when you buy it and dont pay full price. Its actually a way to save a whole lot of money. A refurbished phone is usely were say I buy a phone and use it for 3 days and the volume button keeps getting stuck are not working. Well I send my back and get a new one. Well they take the phone fix the button go through the whole phone to test everything. Anything that is not like new or working they replace. If the screen has any wear on it they put a new one. So its basically a brand new phone just in a shell that's had hands put on it. You can usely find 3 different conditions good, verry good and pristine. They usely are like $20 difference in each. The good model just might have a tiny scratch that you can barely see. Verry good may just have a slight sighn it was used at all. Like litterly micro scratch somewhere on shell. Then ofcourse prestene is like new. But I will only buy refurbished for now on. Just make sure it's a certified and from a know site. My galaxy note 8 came with a 1 year warranty I saved hundreds on it. If you can do without the box opening experience then refurbished is the best deal you will find. My phone works perfect. Iam telling you buy refurbished. You're phone is going to be used after a week anyway so why not go ahead and save some hundreds.

But my Note 9 S pen test only showed two buttons unlike yours showing 3. Also the remote functionality is not working since the day I had the phone...a week ago. Can you help?
I have a galaxy note s10 Lite...there are only 3 sensors that show up under *#0 - Accelerometer, Gyro and Magnetic...Under it all, it shows Fingerprint Test. Is this expected or is something missing
s9 galaxy varizon does not seem to work with phone dialer codes..... I did find a app called cpu-z on google play which pulled up some info on the phone like processor speed, amount of ram and much more. Still curious if its real just bought it off of ebay from bulk seller. I am still doing research......

Can someone with note 9 help me pls. I bought this week from ebay note 9 on the back of it say Samsung but where it should say Galaxy note 9 at the bottom it says Duos. Also it doesnt have inbuilt compass.does that mean its fake phone as i cant tell as its my only 2nd note after my note 2 back in 2013. And in 2015 i bought note 4 from ebay but returned it quickly as it didnt have gps at all i knew it was fake. Pls give some info

Hello... I have seen many stores where samsung note 9 are being sold at significant less price than the original price and they are saying the products are authentic. So if I run all the tests u have shown in this video, and if things work fine, shall I consider the phone as an authentic one? or shall I do some other things as well? Thank you.
Yes if the test are running correctly you can buy it as lot of retailers get it in bulk for cheaper price

How to check refurbished Samsung s21 ultra ??????
Hallo, I am using Galaxy Note 9 last two years now because of moisture detection facility of USB type C port is not allowing to charge device, its happening so frequently now days even I use light heat blower and clean that point with alcohol based solution but nothing improved. Can you suggest how to disable that or any other solution please.
only the first menu works, the second one doesn't. if the first one works means the phone is ok?

Please help none of the codes aork on my note 9. Howvever I called tmobile and they checked the imei and said that it is a real phone? Is this correct if the phone codes you mentioned dont work?

Neither of them work on either of my phones, an S8 I bought straight from Verizon and a note 9 I bought from craigslist that was unlocked and is now on verizon

Thank's for the vid! I just bought a "Brand New" Note 9 from ebay, when it arrived the S pen wouldn't connect. So I started googling and youtubing to find out why? Turns out, I apparently got a Fake pen. Now how do I have a fake pen and a legit phone!? So I start looking for videos on fake Note 9's wondering if I got completely F'd or just partially,lol. After watching this, I tried out the tests. The first test worked, the second did not pop up. So I scrolled the comments and saw it appears the phone is legit. Now, sorting through the pen bs with the seller. Maybe there is a fix? Anybody that may have one, Please offer it up. I'm stressing hard AF over here! lol, thx again, peace
Having same issue, just got mine yesterday, following all the instructions from the video and the phone seems legit but the Spen still not connecting. So it seems the dealer has to change the Spen for me, also found out how to check if you have a fake or real Spen. On the real Spen there is a 12 digital number on the back of the Spen and the button is smaller while the fake has no 12 digit number and the button is bigger. Hope this helps.

Hoping it wasn't from the same seller! What a giant pain in the ass they were/are. Not only did the legit phone come with a bs pen,but when I contacted them to see exactly what in the hell was going on, they sent another pen that was also fake and so bent that it was almost snapped!! Then,they have the balls to send a third pos just to add insult to injury? Lol, I mean, seriously? Then I contact Ebay and explain that I've given every opportunity to make it right and they screwed me 3 times. Ebay huffy and puffs and says they'll make it right. They F me just like the seller did. So I said to hell with them both and called Samsung.
The lady had me email my receipt from Ebay, read her the serial number from the phone and Bammmm...my phone was fully warranties from Samsung as if I'd just bought it from them! Sent me a pen free of charge 😁

UPDATE 2022: I bought a renewed Note 9 off of Amazon my seller was CELLULAR GALLERY. It is running on Android 10. When I put the code in and initially it didn't work and I got scared a little. I then switched my SIM into the note 9 to see if it would work and it DID. Although I found it a little odd that my old phone (galaxy A71) worked for the secret code WITH and WITHOUT a sim card in it. ALTHOUGH my A71 is on Android 12 so I don't know if that's why. But if it doesn't work for you try putting your SIM IN then do the code. I've determined from geekbench, the cosmetics/phone build, and the phone built-in tests (this video) that my phone is REAL.

I can only assume that you need Verizon service (active sim card) to access those options on a Note 9 with Verizon. I was testing my renewed Note 9 from Amazon (no active service yet) and although I cannot access either of these options... I was able to look up the IMEI number and confirm the device is official. Along with the fact that the "sensors" app I have downloaded shows me many more sensors than my Note 5, so I assume it is legit. Will update this post after I get service on the Note 9 and try the testing options again.
