Hola Rachael! Thanks for sharing! Noticed perennials are going back already. Spring is so close. Had to look up a few things! I always learn from your videos. Loved the lights on the Micans. Plants add simple elegance. Allows for different experiences from each encounter. Kind of like the bible. Ever changing ever new. Plants provide the newness of spring and the bittersweetness of winter dormancy. Rachael, what if you were able to enclose the roots to tie the Peace Lily from the ceiling. Like a chandelier. Ok, maybe a bit much, but your space would provide perfect viewing.
Hi Carlos!!! Yes, I agree. Simple elegance..... I have been enjoying doing my Bible reading under a canopy of plants. I find that being in a natural setting helps me to think deeply on the most important things, and to grow so much more in my understanding.
I will say, now that I have your idea of this peace lily as a chandelier, I can't stop thinking of a way to make that happen. that would be so pretty!!!!! thank you.
My springtime count down has been repotting, bought a floor shelf unit and installed a few grow lights and just hung a ceiling light fixture and a couple of wall hanging planters yesterday! Phew! 😮💨 feels great though!

I killed all but one (my snake plant) of my starter plants but I'm going to try again this spring. I'm headed to a big beautiful nursery here in NW Florida next weekend to find some new plant babies. 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Beautiful!!!!!!!!! Also house plants are actually starting to grow more because of the change in daylight! My plants are starting to have active growth my Monstera is starting a new leaf because mine initiate no new leaves all winter long. Anyway nice video and a bright room! I also had some plants that I put out last summer that I'm keeping in this year! My cactus had really grown, however all that work to bring them back in without pests!!!!

Absolutely beautiful! So classy and not overcrowded but looks so cozy. My big pot off peace Lilly was so root bound I was watering it every day,had to separate it into. 5 good bunches,planted them under trees in the garden,,see how they go through winter.

happy Thursday to you Natalie!!! Your peace lily must have been huge! five plants from one is amazing. How are the separated plants doing? I am watering this one every two days right now. I don't want to separate it, but I do not think there is anything else to do. I was thinking to simply put holes in the cover pot that it is in now and allow that to be the final repot size for it. But if it fills out that pot, it will not be anything that I can move. it is already so heavy. you have given me a lot to think about trying.

Hi Rachel. I love this cozy room. It's really beautiful, especially with the outdoor sitting room that off sets it. Who knew that a Peace Lily could get that big? Those plants definitely will let you know when they need watering. All of the plants look beautiful. You you arranged them perfectly.
Hey Jackie!! thank you so much. I love this peace lily, but it really does take a lot of work to keep it happy now. It does not have much soil in the pot so it has to be watered every two days. It is all worth it. I love it!!!

Beautiful room! I love styling my plants more than adding more lately, so right there with you. I have mainly plants and art on my walls as my decor, so simple but colorful is just right to me.

Hi Carol! That sounds awesome. I love to propogated plants for the sun hey months. When you start early it works out perfectly. The starter plants were expensive last year. It sounds like you are having fun.
I think I will have a yard full of alocasia this summer. I have so many sprouted corms.

good morning, Roslyn!!! Thank you so much! I did not know that BOP can be sensitive like that. I have to be more careful with this cutie. Normally, she just goes into a spot that she can fit into. Walmart always has so many of them in the springtime. they always go on the clearance rack very quickly.

You have my wheels turning to move my micans to a different place....I struggle with the small leaves you mentioned......so so beautiful to have such a bright pretty space! So happy for you...and Teddy...what a honey he likes his jungle space you set up on the porch....we are taking care of the neighbor's cat because of a house fire last summer....he is our adopted boy....but his house should done by next winter but we love him so much and he is great with our 3 girl cats! Teddy is a wonderful confident cat. How wonderful that you have four cats living with you. I love cats so much!!!! My daughter is allergic to them. She wants a hairless cat, but........ I am sure it will be difficult to send your adopted boy back to his home. I am sure he will visit often.

Hi Doreen. Sorry for the delay in response. No this is not a sensation. I have a sensation. the leaves are very different. This is just an oversize peace lily. She is clearly telling me it is repot time, but I am so afraid of doing something wrong. I think I will just pick it up and put it into another pot that is bigger without disturbing her roots at all.
