Can you please tell me fo the love of god how can I shoot video on ISO 3200 on mavic air2 ? I don't find it but I saw somewhere one guy shot video on 3200

Hey Chad! Thanks again bro.. Question.. what do you mean a strobe?. im a new pilot and this is my first drone.. had it over a month but haven't done any night flights yet.. are you talking about the light you can turn on and off under the drone or something else.. thx

Nice night shot! I want to do some night flying but just haven't gotten out there much to do so. Snow storm is coming today so maybe in a few days when things get cleared. Big question for you... what makes 30 fps better than 24 fps? Still trying to understand this photography stuff. Any advice? Thanks!
Thanks...This video was shot in 30fps, but I like 24fps better. Especially when I film a cinematic sequence. 24fps is what you see in the movies so to make my videos look more movie like, I'm using 24fps more often now for my videos. One downside is that when filming in a lower frame rate, it limits your ability to slow down your footage if you want. You wiil have to film in a higher frame rate (preferably 60fps to start), slow it down then render at 24fps
@@ChadB Chad, thanks for the explanation. It’s comes down to being able to slow footage and get good results. Awesome! Really appreciate it. Happy Holidays my friend! Keep them coming! 👍🏽
Good stuff. I still haven't tried mine at night yet. I'm a new pilot and still getting the hang of things. Be safe out there by yourself in those deserted locations bro.

I have been flying drones for about 4-5 years and the quality and capability of the Mavic Air 2 is really impressive. Even the low light is pretty good. I have a collection of less expensive drones that were good for learning but I think you really need to get into the $800 range to get really good footage. I just got the Skydio 2, but because of the obstacle avoidance, you can't fly at night. I am thinking the Air 2 would be a good portable all-arounder.
Good morning my drone brother Chad. Hey man kuddos and amazing Job well done on this video. You gotta love ❤️ the Dji Mavic Air 2. I know i do. Chad B. Maybe you can give some advice. This is the 3rd MA2 I purchased and no matter what settings I’m in I get this grainy/noisy footage especially in the shadows. I usually in Manuel iso 100, 4K 60fps with shutter at 120. Even when I put on HDR mode or auto still the same. Is there something I’m missing here?
I'm still learning these camera settings myself. I'm just following what others have done. But there is quite a bit of graininess on this video if you look closely. However, from what I have learned, I filmed in a well lit area and I manually set my iso to 6400 for that environment and since I was recording at 30fps, I set my shutter speed at 1/60. I did not use HDR. But there has been a firmware released in the last day or so which should improve the graininess when using HDR at night.
Yes it is set 715 ft. That doesn't mean I fly above 400 ft. AGL because I'm also limited to that height by the FAA. However, I don't limit myself just in case I need to climb over a structure or obstacle. Also, there are instances where your take off point may be lower than the physical AGL location of the drone so you may have to go above 400ft (based off the take off) to compensate. Here's more information pilotinstitute.com/drone-altitute/

Sorry about that. Just wanted to give you a tip that you might use. Because when you had the ND16 filter on there and you were in manual it was very dark and hard to see the sign. You could have flipped it into auto you would have been able to see better and get down closer to that sign and then flip it back into manual and take your pictures. Good video thanks for the video
@@ChadB I follow drone X factor. He is very good I giving instruction. Just another thing. I think he used the ND16 filter because that's worth came with the mavic air 2 That he used in the video. Why use ND filters at night? It just means you have to crank up the iso, adding noise. I've not tried my drone at night yet, but from night photography with a normal camera, you need all the light you can get!
This was my first time trying this, but I believe the idea is to reduce the amount of light for the longer exposure. To get a better effect with the streaks of light from the vehicles on the road, you have to crank up the shutter speed to the max. I also tried it without the filter and with the shutter speed all the way up everthing was flown out. If I reduced it, there would be breaks in the streaks. The same applies for daylight longer exposure. However, you would use a nd 1000 or 2000 filter.
Wow!
