Stephanie was so blinded by her jealousy that it was of her whole falling apart and she was really dumb for destroying her mail which is a federal crime and pretending to be a lawyer which is again a crime
She was dumb alright. If you're going to try and trick someone, know the person's whole name or something like that 😅
It is a crime in the US, dunno about other countries. The big f, felony!
@WeltonvilleGal I have to agree with you here. I'm not sure about other countries, but in the US...yeah Stephanie did a big WHOOPS! Enjoy the Federal Slammer!
STEPHANIE ENJOY JAIL FOREVER AND EVER AND FOR THE REST OF HER LIFE TOO
"I am Linda, a lawyer." SO LEGIT LOL
What lawyer uses text messages instead of letter or the phone. Yeah totally professional.
I work in a law firm and have been a legal secretary for 30 years. Attorneys always identify themselves by their full name and the Firm they represent. They also contact adverse parties via email (leaving a paper trail) or by phone. The emails have the name of the firm in the email address and also on the signature portion of the message.
If I received this kind of text, I'd immediately DEMAND the full name of the "attorney," and the name of the firm. While I had them texting me, I'd try & find them on a website. No name, vague or combative about giving info? Conversation ends immediately.
@Dark Wizard In my state, bar numbers on the signature block are not included. If an attorney wants to include it, it's optional but not required. I've seen it on signature blocks from out-of-state attorneys so it could be a requirement of their firm or of their state bar. Don't know for sure, I'm just guessing. Also, our attorneys don't have to provide their bar number when identifying themselves on the phone. But they ALWAYS identify their firm and who they represent.
The same ones that work for the IRS and require gift cards to pay off your past tax debt.😂
My lawyer texts me, no phone calls. But, I am hearing impaired so maybe that's why.
1) If a lawyer us going to contact you about legal matters most likely they would send a notarized letter. They would also tell you their first and last name, the law firm they work for, and the client they represent.
2) If not a notarized letter, it would be email.
The lawyer would only start something that serious in a text in an absolute inability to contact otherwise.
Harassment from a supervisor is bad enough, but considering she also tried to extort money from Sam by pretending to be a lawyer and went through her mail, she certainly should have been arrested and fired that day!
Wasn't what she did literally, multiple federal offenses?
Tampering with mail is actually considered a federal crime, so that can land you in federal prison.
Huh I never knew that. Well now that you mention it it kind of does make sense because your mail is considered to be your property so if someone destroys it it is kind of like property damage
Lol
Inmate one: I'm in for grand theft.
Inmate two: I'm in for attempted murder.
Inmate three: I'm in for murder.
Inmate four: Yeah I tampered with my employees' mail.
The other inmates:
Although in her case it'd be more like conspiring to tampering with mail, since it wasn't her that did it. It was the kids that she asked that did.
Yeah girl...that is true! Now, I don't know the official punishment for it, but you are right that it is a federal crime, and she will be going to the Federal Radisson Hotel.

If a lawyer calls you, the first you should ask for is their bar Association number.
Is it me or does Stephanie give off creepy stalker vibes?
Yes you really should, same goes for people calling from the 'irs'
when they are really Not
@@brendayoungblood9484 She definitely does.
Very true 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
"I don't mean to be rude..."
The battle-cry of the rude.
No, no! Don't let her off just because it's her first time. If you take this to court, then her SECOND time they can nail her. As it is, she can keep getting away with doing this over and over. ALWAYS PRESS CHARGES
In reality in the US she wouldn't have gotten off with a slap on the wrist. Hiring kids to mess with the mail federal offense. Impersonating a lawyer federal offense. Extortion and attempted blackmail. Yeah in reality she'd be looking to do time with those charges
So Stephanie was so jealous of Sam that she lied on Danny and completely projected.
Sam really put Stephanie in her place. People who pretend to be a lawyer is the absolute worst
plus you can get arrested for that
@@kiryuandgodzillagirl no doubt at all.
Better than to pretend to be a surgeon.
@@jonelfilipek7848 Or a decent parent. I can think of dozens of things people can do that are worse than pretending to be a lawyer.
Time for psychological help for Stephanie.
Morale: When you envy someone, just keep it to yourself. Better yet, become better than yourself from before. No need to feel insecure.
That should be on a billboard.
@@tswain92_ I know, right..
I saw a post that said 'jealousy is admiration turned sour' that's this video to a T
@@AnnaBell033 Hmmm...
This is really unbelievable. Stephanie should have been:
1. Reported to the police for harassment, threatening OP and stalking
2. Reported for tampering with the mail (that *a Federal crime*, stupid, and she would be spending quality time at a Federal prison)
2. Gotten in major trouble for falsely portraying herself as a lawyer, for said purpose of harassment, stalking and threatening OP
3. Bullying OP, all this because of sheer spite and jealousy.
That woman got off too easily. OP better hope and pray that Stephanie doesn't go back to her crazy ways, you could never tell, she's going to eventually try out of vengeful resentment to *really* do something truly dangerous one day. Like try to physically hurt and/or kill OP. Remember she *did* accuse OP of flirting with her boyfriend (and jealous, insecure women *will* go psycho just on that alone), and have everything at her feet (happy marriage, successful career. Co workers and superiors who like and respect her, etc).
OP still better watch out. There's a part two to this story just waiting to be told...
There would be a part 2 if this story was real, but it’s not
Should always report tampering with the mail. Call the police and the local postmaster. Also could just get a mailbox at the local post office.
Lawyers don’t call wives of alleged criminals. This is a criminal case in most countries.
Stephanie trying to pull the "I'm your boss" card is funny and pathetic at the same time. But it also goes with being a mean girl without a backbone.
Damn Stephanie couldn't even remember that Danny was Sam Wilco's husband. How can you not even remember the name of someone you work with?
To be fair she did say that no one used her actual name. However her supervisor would absolutely know it as the email that said a new team member would be joining her team would give all of Sam's deets.
Why Stephanie texting so much? Yuck, red flag right there! NEVER disclose your personal life to anyone at work! They’ll end up using it against you!
Stephanie was a nut didn't she know you can get arrested and charged for impersonating a lawyer this applied to practicing medicine without a license
You can also get arrested for destroying other people's mail as it's a Federal crime
@@colindaniels945 true
Melatonin correct

No one ever gets away with doing evil because it will always catch up with them and bite them in the ass and the longer it takes the bigger the bite.
Unfortunately not true. Plenty of wealthy people & corporations get away with doing evil things everyday with zero repercussions. The entire U.S. Govt & structure of capitalism (laissez faire - let the buyer beware) is set out deliberately to enrich those who already have wealth & power & destroy anyone who may wish to get in their way. Elon I inherited wealth to go to my ivy league school with no debt Musk! I could go on. Why did no bankers go to jail in 2008? Did they not destroy many many whole families? Ignorance is not bliss, it is just lazy thinking. Sorry Carol.
Jealousy is a very ugly thing and she screwed up her life and for what? Perceived slights against her by a woman just living her own life.
Yes jealousy is an uuugglllyy emotion and this woman really screwed up
I know what you mean, jealousy can really make one person do bad things to the other person.
So basically, Stephanie harassed Sam because she used a lot of jelly with her peanut butter. For anyone who doesn’t know, that means Stephanie was jealous of Sam. 😅😅😅😅
Sam should have went straight the police with the mail thing.
First red flag: looking out for you by being sarcastic tones
Second red flag: "could be a prank...or not!"
Third red flag: giving the advice of holding off reporting to the police.
1) If there any legal issues, they don't text you!
"Pay or we'll take all the legal issues..." Okay, see you in court! Btw, there's ways to trace a phone call.
In the United States, tampering with another's mail and impersonating a lawyer are criminal offenses.
I could see Stephanie's jealousy from miles off. I would of pulled away way earlier than Sam did.
Since Sam is having problems with the mail, she has to report it to the postal service, not the regular police, and IT IS considered a FEDERAL CRIME.
Stephanie clearly wants to be Sam.
If a lawyer texts you, tests them by demanding their BAR number to look them up. Frauds are stupid
Straight to post office and police
I’ve dealt with jealous managers before. Just keep being meek and demure and it DRIVES THEM BONKERS
How dare you be a good person while I am so insecure
Good evening everyone. Have a great night
Strphanie sounds unhinged.
Stephanie IS unhinged.
Pretty sure Stephanie did enough stuff that shouldn't fall under "no jail for first time offenders"
She also should go to therapy
Couple phrases that are redflags "I'm just brutally honest" and "I'm very straightforward person" both are lies to cover up horrible behavior. Stop talking to these people or call the out immediately.
Evening everyone
Good evening! Although it's 12.15 am. here.
Enjoy your night 👋🤗
Despite everything else in this video... Whether somebody's serious or not, you should always accept a compliment, especially if it's about work ethics... Stop telling her no, you're not this. You're not that you're not as good as so and so 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ You're not so and so you're you. And you were doing good enough to catch the boss's eye 🤷🏽♀️ own your abilities woman
Oh, people like this woman, ugh
One word. CREEPY!
Yeah, because an actual lawyer demanding compensation is totally going to text you 😂
and you absolutely do not talk to your husband and the police about the accusation lol
Anyone who gave me bad vibes like her boss would get my wrath so fast.
This is a weird story. Her boss found her address but doesn't know her name?
Also, there's no such thing as not being convicted because it's your first time committing a crime.
at the beginning i was like OMG a nice supportive co worker and then.. it went just downhill
All because her and her boyfriend broke up she took it on someone who had nothing to do with it . Oh great balls of fire
People as the jeolous woman just need to blame others not themselves sadly
But still it's not right
I'm about 3 mins in. Take the freaking compliment CHEESUS!
Sam is right about thinking before you speak and act.
Idk about you guys, but the picture of the person on the left helps me imagine the person. I wish they would do it for the other person that is speaking.
It wouldn’t take me 3 months to find out who did it. I would put up cameras.
Jealousy is such an ugly trait. And over something so trival. Stephanie needs help.
Whenever that syrupy-sweet, innocent voice shows up on the antagonist side of the screen, you just KNOW this is going to be good. Stephanie went from sweet and innocent to nutcase after she got caught and her voice reflected that. The Karma Kourt let her off easy...too easy, IMHO, but I didn't get a vote in the matter. As an aside, this is why I love listening to characterizations done by the female voice actors on AT - male actors just don't have the same range and depth.
the first two texts, i knew, shes trouble xD
Not all low income people or single parents are bad news get a clue
OP : "Did I do something wrong?" is absolutely the worst thing to say to a toxic boss or psycho cop. The boss called you for a meeting / the cop stopped you.
Let them do the running.
At the most a neutral "how are you? Hope you're doing well"? Is enough
She's not a lawyer...
But definitely a liar.
Government doesn't care if it's the 1st time when you mess with the mail, you're going to jail.
Lawyers NEVER contact people via text! Letters for official missives. Also, this kind of convo would land a legit attorney a sh!t~ton of sanctions and disbarrment!
Another homfredian gem. Rob really cut loose with this one and he never looked back. I didn't think he could get better, but he damned sure did. Now, you need to check out Rob and Austin singing Nessun Dorma. You'll need smelling salts after that one.
Hey homefry, Wrong site, oops.
Hey Susan. Thanks. I guess it didn't post fast enough before the video changed. Gotta love those Home Free men, though, right?
If you suggest going to the police and the other party asks why or if you think you're going too far, 99.9% of the time, it means they're guilty of whatever crime has been committed, or they were involved somehow. I've seen that happen so many times in these stories that just once I'd love to see one where when the perpetrator goes "Isn't going to the police a little much?", the protag goes "No, it isn't, and thank you for letting me know it was you." Just. Once.
Screwing with mail is a federal offense
Superior that is none existent no one is Superior to anyone it's all depends on the person's point of view!!!
Stephanie will be the crazy cat lady when she gets to 40 years old
At least Stephanie isnt that dumb to pretend to be a Federal Agent. Then she really would be screwed. Bc once the Feds r involved then we'll ur career and life is over
Stephanie is so darn nosey no matter what day it is. Stephanie thinks that she's all that and a bag of chips.
Call the police, people who try to talk you out of calling the police are the ones who are causing the problem
Jealousy, paranoia and insecurity can trap you in your own personal hell. It's hard to break free and see clearly when your thoughts are running wild.
Sounds like Sam’s husband is in the military. Although I just started watching . Especially with moving every 2 years or so.
Destroying the mail is a crime in almoust every country. In US it's a federal crime. And in other countries it is also against the law. It is a crime and you can go to jail for that.
Impersonating a lawyer is also a crime in every country. And you can end up in prision again.
And to be so stupid that you dont even do the resurch whome you're blackmailing, that's beyond stupid and ridiculous, that is soooo dumb
And :"even you're maried and happy you are also succesful at work"
So when you get maried you stop being smart and good at your job?!
The one thing that to me is a dead give away someone is faking is if they contact you through text. Like seriously what lawyer is going to discuss details over _text?_ Or cops, or bankers, or venmo, or flippin netflix?! regardless, no professional will discuss matters via text, at least not that i know of
If someone has committed a first offense, many give up on having them charged because they wont get time. Thats bassackwards thinking. Charge them. Then the next time they do something, they have a charge against them and will probably get hit with more due to being a repeat offender.
Bingo! Especially, since the office workers claimed she had already harassed numerous other employees. How far did she go with them? If they had complained, it might not have escalated so far with Sam. Sam definitely should have pressed charges, even if she only got fines and probation. Extortion by pretending to be a lawyer is pretty serious, not to mention the federal crimes of stealing her mail.

@@little1942 agreed!
Seems to me Stephanie has some issues she really needs to address before she leaves her home again. She was clearly projecting her own insecurities onto Sam. She's really lucky Sam didn't insist on pushing forward with legal options.
Who talks to there boss other than work or calling in sick. I would of blocked right when asking fertility part cause thst is not normal.
First up! Hi from Sacramento!
i lived near Sacramento when i was growing up!
Hey 👋 Hope you are enjoying your weekend 🤗
I hope nobody falls for this lol. A lawyer who doesn't give a full name and ID number, who doesn't give the name of the other party, and wishes to discuss a legal matter without consent of involved parties, everything about it screams scam
Good evening from Oregon ❤
STEPHANIE STOP PLAYING ON THE PHONE AND IT IS A PRANK AND STOP CREEPING OUT SAM AND HER HUSBAND DANNY
“I’m single” …2 seconds later… “my boyfriend…”
Harassment, bullying, extortion, defamation of character, bribery, fraud, tampering with the mail/post box, and impersonating a lawyer is the grand slam of criminal and civil offenses. They are definitely punishable by prison sentences and heavy fines for the criminal offenses and eye wateringly high penalties and damages for the civil offenses. First offender or not with several Federal and State felony crimes Stephanie would receive a minimum of 1-5 years in prison.
He did nothing lol Sam is short for Samantha and this is extortion and can be prosecuted under the anti racketeering laws
Lawyers would never contact you by text... this is dumb
Not Stephanie giving herself away and how the possible “kid” culprits are looking for attention or just having a little fun.
Looks like Stephanie pulled a Nixon:
She quit before they could fire her
Sigh. "Whose" is the possessive form of "who". The word that was wanted is the contraction "who's".
Ok removing stuff from mailbox that not yours felony, stuffing a mailbox, with thing that didn’t go through the postal system felony, extortion of $1,000 or more using a communication device that is 2 felonies. They would spend some time in jail for that 1 st time offender or not, in most states 3 felonies will get you life.
my name is gender nutritional as well
Nutritional?
Yummy!
so my name is skyler depending on how you spell it I like it with an e not an a
@@frankhooper7871 why yummy
@the shadow king Frank is trying to make fun of you due to your use of the word nutritional.
Is it possible you used the wrong word? Nutritional is normally related to food. It didn't really fit with gender. I think it's possible you meant gender neutral.
Wow, freaky story!
Jealously is a hateful feeling.
Mrs Wilco? Her husband's name sx hould be Roger
If this is happening in the US, messing with mail is a federal crime. No getting out of it for a first offense. The Postal Inspection Service has their own police to investigate those who mess with mail.
Messing with anybody's mail is a Federal crime and so is impersonating law enforcement, lawyers, doctors, and people in official capacities is also criminal and can result in felonies
STEPHANIE LET HER EGO GET THE BEST OF HER TOO AND STEPHANIE KNOW THAT TOO AND STEPHANIE IS VERY FUNNY AND A JOKE AND A COWARD TOO STEPHANIE WILL BE EATING THOSE WORDS NOW TOO AND STEPHANIE IS VERY ANNOYING TOO
Good morning everyone, sorry I’m so late to this one! If anyone reads this after the fact please feel free to join me for this (first) Apple Texts Shot Mini-Game (Sunday-Edition)! So what’s happening here … Okay wow this one is FUN! Your rule for today’s game is “take a shot of your chosen food or drink every time the ‘lawyer’ racks up another charge against her!” (Isn’t pretending to be a lawyer a crime on top of attempted extortion?) Once I’ve seen to my kitties’ breakfast I’ll be making my first cuppa of the day but play it your way! Cheers ☕️
Stay safe, go hug your furbabies and remember: you are all awesome 💙🐱💙
If I'm being honest, I'm sure Stephanie WOULD have paid the price for her crimes, unless if she deleted the history of her crimes behind the scenes when she fled to her family home. I can guarantee that that's how she could've gotten away with just that slap on the wrist by paying Sam the settlement. Not a lawyer or a judgement analyst but I'm pretty sure that it wasn't Sam or even Stephanie who could've gotten her that level of punishment, but rather the company higher-up who just basically gave her a warning and then started further investigation AFTER everyone else spoke up. That By far may have given Stephanie the time and freedom to delete all of her crimes that weren't towards OP and then flee.
She may be DUMMY STUPID, but I think she played a power move in some regard if she is found to have in reality deleted evidence after the story.
Again, not someone who practices law. Just an observation based on how the After That was told.
I think one knows their own name
Is it Wilco or Wilcox lol
What app is this
Jealous much
I hope see loses her job and her boyfriend
Boring
Such a poorly thought out and written story it's not even funny.
