Everyone kept asking me to make a metal version of the Skyva. So I flew to China and did just that. Last time when I made the plastic version I got a year long visa to stay there but this time I forgot. So I only had a 7 day visa, and we just worked our asses off to get it done. Razor close deadlines from designing to machining to anodizing. Thank you to Magicyoyo for getting me permission to shoot in these locations - they are very secretive to filming in certain areas because some of these shops make other things than yoyos, like big name brand stuff. They didn’t want that stuffed filmed so all of this required a lot of trust. The anodizing shop was the reason I almost didn't make it - they were only free to film the SAME night I was leaving which was just bad luck.
Enjoy the video. I doubt any other company who makes their yoyos in china will show you BTS stuff - I live and breathe for experiencing these fast paced manufacturing shops. Mad respect to the machinists, workers, engineers, and uber drivers who helped me with this project.

That cup is so slick that once you lock it in.. It's in and it'll spin there for a couple minutes if you huck it and have a little fingernail. Plus the coating is slicker than any blast I've ever had my hands on.

Hmm, that's strange, the first time I saw this video I commented about the bad working conditons of the anodization workers and a bit later the video was taken down and reuploaded (so my comment dissapeared).
The video has also been edited to remove that said scene. I know this video is promotional and want to give a good reputation to this product, but I still think this was censorship in a way.

Picked one up at the yoyosam retail store the day it came out. This this is a monster of a yoyo. I may not buy any more this summer because it's such a beautiful playing yoyo. Hey jeffrey, I managed to pick one of these up! I think that it would be smart to do an all delrin skyva maybe 35usd. It would still have that Premium feel ,but if you make it more sturdy it would make everyyone less worried to ding it like the metal or plastic version. I dont really see the point of a titanium skyva or bimetal though.
