I’m super new to this, I have a yomega glide xp I got on Amazon and I’m not really a huge fan of it. The string shakes and vibrates like crazy. So I’m looking for another yoyo and this one looks awesome to me. But I can’t find any info on if this is responsive or not? Sorry for the noob question but I’d appreciate the help.
The Recess First base might be a decent option, it comes with a two types of bearings. A slim bearing for responsive play and a standard size for unresponsive.
eventually you have to replace the pads or maintain the bearing so the whole taking the yoyo apart thing is something you'd want for a competition i guess since your not going to open it right out the box
Got mine and it's really fun. Plastics should always be heavier than metals to achieve performance and stability. Really puts the Atom Smasher and most other plastics to shame!
After playing with the Fulvia for a few hours the bearing in mine became loud and the spin time weakened. I used just a drop of the performance OneDrop bearing lube- (made sure to wipe off excess lube with a tissue before putting the halves back together) and now it plays even better. Almost silent and spins much longer.
Sweet! I got my green a week ago - fun choice for my second yoyo and good to start with. Know that I've absolutely thrown this hard into a hardwood floor (oops) a few times now, and it shows absolutely no wear or issue. Funny that you mention the loud bearing and OneDrop lube, I've got some coming in a couple of days for that reason. :D
They have a new plastic one now with aluminum rims called the hybrid Fulvia.. can you do review on that one
Yes! It looks awesome
I also had to keep the dunk box
Right! Such a cool way to package a Yoyo
I ordered a olive green and grey
Nice picks! this Yoyo has quickly become my favorite plastic

No worries!
The Fulvia is an unresponsive Yoyo.
@@ThrowLab thanks for the help! But that sucks lol I really need a responsive one. Guess I’ll try to find something else I like.

Awesome! Yeah I’m tempted to get the whole collection. The One Drop Lube is a game changer.
