Thanks !! God bless❤
that was a awesome explained video the part where the hose connects and not turn when you reeled it in was the main thing I needed to know too cool man
Very good job mate👍
Many thanks this is an excellent and cheap way of solving my problem.
Thanks! I made this with 3/4 ply because that's what I had. Appreciate the plans and parts list. Very simple but effective. Cheers!
Great job. I actually like this setup and I don't have any changes.
Great job. Thanks for the detailed plans. I'm building one today!
Awesome! :) If you build one, try something different with the locking system if you can. I removed the two washers between the hose support and the wall bracket because it was moving so much it was hard to rewind the reel it was shaking to much, now it's better but still if i make a V2 I would try something a bit different. Other than that, I really like it. Used a dozen times since i built it!
@@SEBTECHDIY I’ll let you know if I come up with something. Maybe some kind of ratchet locking system that you can engage or disengage depending on if you want it to spin or stay facing a certain direction..,
Very simple yet very awesome!
Design and presentation very well done! I will definitely come back to this when I'm ready to build it. Thanks!
Awesome, thank you! If you have any questions feel free to ask!
Great project I'll be building one!
Thanks! Awesome!
You’re amazing!!! Thank you for this fantastic tutorial!
Hi. This video was really helpful thank you. Is is possible if you could make a video o an auto retractable system as this would be even more useful as there aren't any other videos on youtube for this type of system. Thank you
Looks better than the cheap metal ones on the market. Nice presentation! I'm subscribing because I could listen to you narrate all day LOL.
haha Thanks and Thanks for the sub! 👍
🙏 thank you 😊
Perfect! Congratulations from Brazil
Congratulations!!!
This is fantastic, I'm doing this for sure thanks for the video!
Hope you enjoy it! Thank you Ryan!
cool idea, great instructions. i would strengthen the mount arm, it looks a bit wobbly from what i see when you used it.
Great hose reel
Çok güzel
Looks great.. good job for sure...tks for sharing
3:00 he says it will support a 100-foot hose (diameter?). I found in the instructable that it was loaded with 50’ of 3/8” but that it would also hold 100’, assuming that too would be a 3/8” hose. Great instructions on a project that could be used for many projects: electrical cords, water hoses, as well as air hoses.
Nice!! I will almost certainly be passing off some of these ideas as my own!! Haha If I could only get the plywood hook up like you too!!
Sos un capo te veo desde Argentina
Good explanation
excelente idea,buen trabajo,bendiciones a ti y a tu familia
Great idea.

Beautifully build and designed!
Thank you very much!
Спасибо, все понятно👏👏
Very nice!
Thank you! 😎
bravo
Awesome!
Thanks!
Seems absolutely brilliant! I will definitely make this! Also, would love to know how you designed your circle jig. SUBSCRIBED!
Thanks for the sub! Next video coming up in 2-3 weeks is the circle jig, I'll show you in details how I made it.
what if add another swivel connection at the top or bottom, so it can rotate freely in any direction when the input hose still connected
Im curious. You said the fitting holds the side with the air supply correct? Then when you unroll the hose that fitting will loosen but if it doesnt rotate then ti will eat away at the board. Am i missing something here?
How about adding space for accessories and maybe a nailer or two?
Great job
That's an awesome idea, I plan on making a lot of organizations for my workshop, something for my nailers and some storage for the nails, Thanks! :)
Looking for cut lengths but can't find looking forward to make this item please let me know what the lengths are
👏
Still dont see the detailed plans yet
How do I locate the Instuctional page for the air hose reel??
What can I make from old wood?
Can you add the air fitting part please, I try to find it and not luck! Thanks
The 90° swivel is PART MP1038 from campbell hausfeld, they seems to have recently change the model but you could probably find also generic versions made like the old MP1038. I saw one on ebay check this out : www.ebay.com/itm/CAMPBELL-HAUSFELD-MP1038-1-4x1-4Swiv-Conn-/274411737919
Hope it help and if you have any more question feel free to ask, i will add in the next few days on my instructable.com page all the fittings and models number used in this build.
Love the design, but I cant find a link for the plans!
All the plans are available for free on my instructable page, right here : www.instructables.com/Air-Hose-Reel-From-Plywood-360-Swivel/ 😉
How do I get the plans? I would love to build this for my small shop
Yeah wheretf are the plans?
Excellent easy to follow video! My one question is this: do you have any issues with the hose trying to unwind? If you do, how do you get it to stay where you leave it?
Seems good for now, maybe if the hose start to unwind by itself I could probably add a washer to tightened the whole axel so it give some frictions to stop the hose from unwinding by itself but for now ( i made it 2 weeks ago ) everything seems good!
@@SEBTECHDIY ,
A wave washer would do that.
Do you build or have a website to buy one from you?
3:01 What is the name of the piece you used here?
Nice, Excellent. How long hose did you load on reel?
Thank you. It's a Dewalt 3/8 x 50' hose , I bought it on amazon amzn.to/3K3I2r1 ( affiliate link ) Also, you have enough space to fit a 100' no problem, the reel should be sturdy enough to take the load.
That is cool my friend.
SEB, this is a great tutorial for a needed project. I'm in the process of acquiring the materials. I ordered the parts already and they arrived. .. I have a question.. Does it matter if I use 3/4 inch plywood vs. 5/8 plywood. I ask due to I have 3/4 in and didn't want to buy 5/8's if I can do this with 3/4. - My concern would be the distance between the end of the swivel air-fittings and the beginning of the hose connector inside the roller. Am I correct?
I used 3/4" plywood. I just lengthened the dowel going through the disc and the handle bracket to compensate for the extra width. It's only 1/8" so not a big deal. I ordered the exact hose fittings in the build diagram and it all worked without issue.
@@Synonomous Hey, it been a while since I finished it.. And just ran across our convo. So figured I share.
Crap, it's not letting me add a picture. Well damn.
superbe outil pouvez vous m'envoyer le plan SVP merci Amicalement ALAIN

As-tu un liens pour commander les air fitting ? Merci
Do you have a link for the air fitting ? Thankyou

Merci beaucoup
Oui je suis près de Montréal
Ça m’aide vraiment ta réponse!!
To make this you need hundres of dollars worth of equipment. Which costs more than buying a prefabbed one. Shame really. But that's a handsomely made hose reel. Ron Swanson would be proud.
I hear you but you can do this with a cheap jig saw, a hand saw, a hammer, screw driver, and a drill. Who doesn't have these who's in need of an air hose reel, lol? It's easier with a router but not by much.
THE BIGGEST FAILURE on anyone of these from anyone is the skinny drum A wider drum wont knot any hose, I now on my house raised the garden hose house holer to 5 ft, I have big loops, On my back house hose holder for the 125 feet of hose I use two holders 5 feet apart 4 foot high, Tangle free, fast to unwrap and wrap
Interesting ❤❤
very nice job Man ! )
That it audio and all
Thank you Frank! 👊
This is for a person that values their craft! You can buy a metal one of these reels for less than $30 & only spend 1 hour going to the store, buying it & then setting it up. 😅
how can I get the plans.
