Fun Fact: The name of the theme is called Starry Sky. Despite it being the main theme for Rainbow Resort, the first time this theme was used was in the last 2 stages of Orange Ocean.
I do remember it being used in 6-5 and 6-6 but what said the name was Starry Sky? I didn't think it had a name (like most NES music) back then and people just called it Rainbow Resort due to the world 7 title card after you beat meta knight.
That feeling when playing for the first time Heroes in Another Dimension and suddenly hearing that rendition of Rainbow Resort was one of the best moments in Star Allies.
This is one of my favorite Kirby themes. It's so peaceful! I was suprised when I was playing Star Allies and I heard the remix. (Let alone the fact we got two more arrangements after the updates). It's hard for me to pick my favorite, but Planet Frostak had an impact when I first heard it. I was wasn't expecting a Rainbow Resort remix at all and that beautiful scenery made it even better. It makes me very nostalgic. Maybe it's because I always associate this song with all the time I spent in the Kirby's Rainbow Resort website, reading all that info, chatting in the forums, watching the anime and playing the games. Those were simpler times and this song reminds me of my childhood and my early teenage years. :')
I totally agree with you! Rainbow Resort, along some other songs from NiD/Adventure and Amazing Mirror, has been one of y favorites for the sole reason on how calm it is, I LOVE Rainbow Resort so much!
This is one of those moments where I wish I were alive in that time period (1998-2002) because that sounded like so much fun, looking at the websites and playing a gameboy and such, i love the Kirby games and fandom with a passion (even if some sides of the fandom may be a bit **strange**, no judgement) with just a general love and appreciation for Kirby abd all the other characters in the games, this theme might be my favorite, and I'm kinda rambling but you get the point, this is a beautiful theme.

This song is just so infectious. I could never grow tired of it. It’s definitely one of my all time favorites of Kirby and is 100% my favorite relaxing song of Kirby. It sounds so nostalgic to me every time I hear it. I know my first Kirby game was Kirby’s Adventure so that’s why it’s nostalgic but for whatever reason this song specifically hits me harder nostalgia wise compared to any other old school Kirby song. It’s such a magical song. Plus I’m a sucker for Snow themes. I love playing it around Christmas time. ☺️😌

It's crazy to me that Star Allies is responsible for 3 of these! It's crazy to me how much HAL remixes it's own music and I love it!
I think the Kirby Air Ride version is the most accurate, being cute and calm and very faithful to the first 16-bit games

Rainbow Resort actually has a place in the song Green Laboratory in Kirby: Planet Robobot! around the 1:40 mark i believe!
