It has, but it's still a "New" song that will be on their next album. I'm pretty sure this one and Turn The Lights Off will definitely be on it because they first played them in 2006 and they're still playing them today.
The final version of this song is amazing, but i love how in the "can you feel" verse the "feel" kinda goes a little lower in pitch when they're singing it. I know that is a super specific thing but it just sounds nice in my opinion.
It's the little stuff that matters! For example, I love how in the last double chorus(?) for Will Wood's Mr. Capgras, he sounds a lot more frantic and out of control, then gains control and does his gay Tom Waits thing :) Similar thing when he repeats the chorus at the end of Hippocrates and Outliars!
@@tremendousyeet3467 I wouldn’t say so. They’re nothing out of this world special, and at the time they were THE big industry pop group. But I’d say that was before the industries got painfully corporate and soulless, so they still put quite a bit of creativity into their music. Do I think they’re overhyped? Yeah, most likely. Are they still good tho? Also yeah.
@kthxrae I think he`s written a lot of their songs. He`s been writing songs since he was 8 and he went to university for composition, which is where he met Rob, who already knew Zubin from High School, and they joined Joe`s film produciton group. Ross went to high school with Joe, but he wasn`t the original drummer. ........Sorry for rambling.
Yeah, while i think Rob is the closest one to being the band leader (mostly because he seems to be the one who started the band, according to the bios from the band's old website, and he's the first one to be introduced in the song "Welcome to Tally Hall"), they don't seem to have a lead vocalist, as it varies depending of what song they're playing.
That's what happens when songs start in the same chord and have the same beat. They also have fairly similar memories. I also think The Trap sound like some other song that's in spanish (probably, don't really remember) but i can't remember what it was called
not gonna lie, they look like they'd be boring to listen to. never judge (scholarly) books by their covers, because this isn't music, it's better than music!

They remind me so much of the Beatles it's uncanny
I do think they took a lot of inspiration from the Beatles. Also Joe is a pretty big fan of the Magical Mystery Tour album
The beatles are hacks

Everyone says that it has a Beatles feel to it. It's because most of the notes in the verses sound exactly like Eleanor Rigby
