"About India" channel is a journey of cultural heritage and heritage of India. Common citizens of India are also passengers in this journey. This journey is infinite but it has many phases, in those phases we will also take some rest and try to know and understand it. Indian religion in such phases; Indian traditions; life and values; Indian Calendar; Indian festivals and festivals; Architecture of India; temple architecture; Indian Music; Indian dance etc. can be placed prominently.

I m very much impressed by your point that Bohras are combination of Shias and sunnis, very less talk about this fact. @@aboutindiachannel Kindly correct it in the video, Hadith is as important to us as the Prophet himself. Though we do not practice qiyas and ijma and ijtihad and that sort. Also please note that 5 Lakh in India and 5 lakh out of India is also wrong information. Maximum number of Dawoodi Bohras is approximately 6.5 to 7 Lakhs, majority of whom reside in India.

I am Gujarati Jain but have grown up in vicinity of Vohra community in central Mumbai. During my worklife, education life, had Vohra colleague. Not only that, I worked with one of the biggest Vohra industrialist in Srilanka. This sect is very peace loving, warm, Humane, low profile,business oriented, intelligent and noble minded. They are highly patriotic too. Lots of their customs, food habits has Gujarati footprints. To say they are almost Gujarati except following Islam. Personally I have tremendous respect for the community.
I think you could have given more information on how they came/ settled in india, what made them, who are their religious leaders and their tremendous contribution to charity esp in Africa. Which are the places they are settled and why they are not elsewhere in the world if not migrated thro india.

What do you mean by they are almost Gujarati except following Islam? A Gujarati can be Muslim, Muslims are quite more than Jains in Gujarat yet Jains are regarded as Gujaratis, what problem do you have with Muslims?
@@ZaidKhan-su3ey sirji I think my generalisation is not the way you have interpreted. I respect and revere Bohra community. And I haven’t an iota of thought that I have a problem with Muslim. The analogy I said is out of my understanding, association and observation of Bohra community. One of my ex boss whose industry overseas I worked for, my classmates, colleagues were Bohra. I spent my childhood in their vicinity, lived in a building built by them in Mumbai. What I meant they speak and follow many traditions quite similar to Gujaratis, have business acumen like them or are in the traders, risk takers like them. So please my dear brother Zaidbhai I request not to take otherwise. I love you for seeking clarification.

I too believed they were converted Brahmin Gujarati esp from north Gujarat. One of Vohra professional I came in contact with informed that they were originally from Egypt. Let the history be for curiousness, they are now Proud Indians without distinctions from any other citizens. They are spread widely in African continent like Mozambique, Malawi, South Africa, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Congo, Burundi, Rwanda, Sri Lanka, Burma, Madagascar etc

Its started 1000 years back when a saint(indian and name changed to Maulaya Nuruddin saheb) in dongam(maharashtra) came from Egypt with fatemi(dawoodi bohra) teachings from Fatemi imam(From Imam husain's lineage). With his teachings and preaching, people got immensely impacted thereby accepting the faith.

1) Konsa aisa Islam ka section hai jo Quran se pare hai? Ya Rasulallah SAW se pare hai? Hamare me ek following hai ki "har ghar haafiz" yaani Haafiz E Quran.
2) Haan hum Syedna ko mante hai aur mante aa rahe hai, per na hi kabhi unhone ya unke pehle 52 Syedna ne kaha ki hum hi sab kuch hai bas hume maniye. Woh sirf ek leader jo hum sabko sahi hidayat dete hai aur bandh k rakhte hai jaise ki ek head of the family. Woh hume Allah ki Ibadat aur Namaz ki pabandi aur Quran se hidayat dete hai.
3) Rahi baat khane ki? Kya aapko apki Financial status k hisab se bahar bazar me sabzi milti hai? Toh us hisab se Govt ko Below poverty line wali population k liye khana free dena chaiye? Free me kisi ko ek niwala nahi milta, sahi baat hai aur woh pure world ki kahani hai na ki kisi ek community ki. Hamari community me sabse bada kitchen hai jo kisi ko unch nich nahi sikhtaa balki sabhi ko ek jaisa khana milta hai, chahe woh gareeb ho ya Ameer. Aur humare me khana fekte nai hai, jitne khaya Jaye utna hi lete hai. Apke sect me yeh check kar lijiye Jum'ah ko kahi niyaz me kya hota hai.
Aapki jankari kaafi chhoti hai, isiliye jankar baniye aur respect kijiye na ki hate aur misunderstandings spread kijiye.
