Your video is truly golden! Paris has evolved so much in 8 years! I will film exactly the same way and publish them on my channel to showcase the transformation. Thank you for documenting this!
wooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that was really exciting...actually i am in love with this city...and while passing time, doing lot of boring stuff on my laptop...i decided to scroll through my youtube feed...and what i got was this virtual tour through paris...and trust me...its the best thing i have ever watched on youtube....thank you so much for this exciting video...please make another video walking through PARIS❤❤❤....regards!!
Thanks so much for your kind comments. We hope to go back to Paris when the world opens up again. Will definetely do a walking tour video. Thanks again!
This one is next on my list. I'm also travelling the world on my exercise bike thanks to people like you. It brings back so many memories, especially as we sit here amidst COVID.
I can’t thank you enough for the terrific bicycle videos! The Paris video is a favorite of mine - I appreciate the stress involved in riding in a city. I’m glad you both are safe. I didn’t read the video description before getting on my stationary bike, but just started riding. When ‘we’ hit those cobblestones, though, I knew where ‘we’ were going! It made my day! Thank you for the ‘soul food’.
Today was my first ride on my stationary Greg Lemond Rev-X bike. What a great video to start off with, you really make it so fun to ride virtually. Very interesting streets and locations. "Stay safe out there, it's a jungle!" Thanks!
What a gorgeous way to start the day with Cafe croissants and your superb video of Paris, all sat here in England. I must say, you two are very brave. Was relieved when you were reunited with your wife after l'étoile roundabout. Paris esp Foche Ave de la Grande Armee area looks gorgeous. There's a nice trip from the end of Pigalle up Rue Coulincourt to the basilica Sacré Cœur (Snow Patrol used it on one of their videos) we stayed at Hotel Roma on Coulincourt as teenagers. Adore Paris Thanks for your fabulous trip really enjoyed it All the best to you both X
Greg Larkins awe thankyou, Metro is really unsafe, we had to go to the rescue of a poor man who was stabbed right in front of our eyes by a gang of youths. Nobody helps they all just walk on by. It put us off using it. In any case, Paris is so beautiful, you don't see anything underground! We eventually found someone official and the man was rushed to hospital. So next time I visit Paris it's taxi taxi taxi or maybe.... Bike!
Started the tour on my hometrainer too, great video, soooo many stoplights in Paris, thank you so much for creating this video, always wanted a bikeride through Paris and now i can👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🙋🏼♀️💝
This was a GREAT ride thru the city.I've done 4 trips to Paris. Never feel intimidated by the traffic.Parisians and in other Euro cities know the pulse of traffic. I rarely ride my bike in Ft Lauderdale way to dangerous.Drivers here would rather hit a bike rider than give way
I hope to get quite a collection of virtual rides going on my channel in 4k high quality. I love watching these and want to create them. This one in particular was fun to watch and it is great to "travel the world". I am in the Sacramento area so not too far in real life. Take care and I will see you in this virtual riding world.
Great video. Love the natural traffic sounds as opposed to the techno pop music on so many of these. I have traveled some of these streets but not others. It would be nice to have subtitles of the major avenues, pretty hard to catch the street names at any speed. Again, wonderful video, great route!
Thanks for your kind words, and for your suggestion of including street names. Next time I’ll have gps track the route and include the street names…..a great excuse to go back to Paris!
@@GregLarkins I finished the entire route. Great job by you on Eiffel Tower area. Also, you alone seem to be cognizant that since the camera is mounted on your head, you have to turn your head to view the most interesting landmarks. In a lot of these other videos, the rider never turns the camera to the interesting sights so that you end up just catching a glimpse of some interesting place but never clearly see it. They just focus on the road ahead of them. Good job by you!
Hey Forrest & Kay Lewis, nice to hear you enjoy these kind of video's, would you be willing to check out my new cycling video and subscribe if you like it? Just starting out. Greetings from Amsterdam! 🔥
This looks so dangerous, compared to European and Asian cities with real protected bike lanes. Paris needs to get its act together. I'd wager much of the city would love to get around on bikes instead of cars, if only it were safe.
Yeah squeezing between the busses at times is not for me. Thank goodness I am here virtually and not in real life. These have motivated me to try and make my own high quality virtual ride videos.
Nice video Greg, do they appear to have the same problems with texting and driving over there? I am heading over in April but would pretty much say screw some of those busy streets and opt for quieter side/back streets over the big avenues... That traffic looks like an unprotected cluster#*+# of a mess. Can you comment on how much a bike rental for the whole day would cost?
Все велосипеды с корзинками, обычные шосейные велосипеды У нас в основном встречаются только MTB. Велосипед это самый лучший транспорт чтоб узнать город.
Thank you for this wonderful bike ride through Paris. I was sweating bullets of anxiety riding with you through the crazy traffic! And I was in my living room... Have you biked other countries?
Thanks for your comments. We have bicycled through Amsterdam and Munich, however I did not have my Go-Pro camera during those visits. Perhaps a good reason to return !
3 weeks ago we went from Holland to Paris and took the bikes with us. Totally safe to go everywhere and the people in Paris are very tolerant. On bike, you see so much more and would recommend everybody to do it.

Thanks so much for your kind words. I am looking forward to your video. Bon chance!

Just dusted off the bike and mounted it to a trainer in the basement...excellent eazy bike riding. Thank you.

Thanks so much for your generous comments, Alan. We can't get enough of Paris and it's even more exciting to go by bicycle rather than the Metro.

SO true =)
thank you for such an enjoyable bike ride. I have never been to Paris..such a beautiful city. It was nice to see the Cathedral before the fire.

Brilliant this video is covid19 lockdown approved
Scary compared to Milton Keynes' fully separate system. But made all the better by that fantastic French music! Anyone know what it's called?
Very different to Australia where you have to give way to pedestrians at zebra crossings and wear a helmet while riding a bicycle
Thank you!!!
Good better best thank you

This is an incredible thing to watch. Thank you! What video camera did you use?
I had a Go Pro Hero (original version) strapped onto my bike helmet.
Are you walking?
Is that a gas station at 1:50:26? Can not believe!
Wasn't that scary, to go around the Arc de Triomph ?
It was indeed. My wife was not at all happy with my antics.

Wooow good vídeo;D
I envy the cycling culture of france... nothing to do with my country....
rembpilot172 , well cycling culture in France is scarce and in Paris is virtually inexistent (unexistent?, ex je l'oublie)
And as a french, I envy the cycling culture of Netherlands :'D
