    Interesting questions people now a days only ask him questions on politics. This was absolute treat to listen to.
    Chomsky also gives interviews to even small channels that is so generous of him.

      @Kyle Stewart Hi, i will answering your questions step by step. The first question, no there are no modern countries follow Mohammed rules in war. The second question , yes there are rules against transgressions and targeting the civilians. The third question, yes Muhammed say word for word not to harm non combatants and innocent civilians and also he say that about the tree, women and children. Yes the wahhabism is some thing different to 9/11. Yes The Saudi Arabia follow the Quran also at tawheed is a word means follow the one god so the lessons it is there in Quran so there are no different between them. My friend attwaheed book is not political books so after that information you will recognize your questions. Syrians fighter doesn’t follow the Quran, on the opposite the political Syrians is Socialism not islamic country. And I as a Muslim against what happens in Russia, I am from Kuwait not Saudi to make you sure that I answering questions with love and honestly

    This is probably the best answers that Noam Chomsky can give to Hira. It is the truth that encompasses every human being that has ever lived. Only our creative instincts can provide some understanding. I wish that every human being would be able to understand this point of view because I believe that it would make a better world.

      @@5driedgrams You think Wikipedia is an accurate source of information? I used to edit Wiki when I was 13 years old, more than a decade later every edit is still there. I’ve tried making a few edits years ago on an author I had avidly read and three timed my efforts failed and were reversed by people that literally hadn’t read a page of said author who were anarchist activists trying to appropriate respected writers.
      Chomsky has published on linguistics and studied the topic. He has been apart of many political activism activities. Again, Chomsky has never, I repeat, Chomsky has NEVER PUBLISHED on philosophy and once admitted to never really reading any philosophy besides Descartes, Aristotle, and Plato. I myself have read over 100 philosophers and still wouldn’t call myself a philosopher because I never published. How can someone who hasn’t read more than five philosophers and never published be considered a philosopher? Many people misunderstand what philosophy is, which is where the error comes from.

    You asked Chomsky (roughly paraphrasing) what spiritual practices he engages in to make himself feel calm and content. It could be that the question never came up for him, because he was blessed with an intellect so powerful that his mind is like a perpetual motion machine, always working productively, always yielding insights, thus furnishing him with a continuous source of intellectual gratification and inner contentment. In sum, God (or nature) gifted him with every possible advantage to pursue the contemplative life, devoted to rational understanding of the world, which no less an authority than Aristotle said is the happiest kind of life possible for a human being.

      I would argue that academia is not the only place for philosophy. In fact after the neoliberal turn and learning institutions adopted more and more practices from the for profit sector it becomes less and less of a space for philosophy. But there will always be a lot of philosophy happening outside of institutions as well. Just takes a group of people wanting to dialogue about meaning.

      What I know for sure that in each religion there is good and bad. There’s some people that change the meaning of words to reach their own evil goals.
      Otherwise, there’s light, love, freedom in Islam and other religions for those who can open up their heart and seek for truth. It’s just a different directions but the destination is same. 💛

Again I'm Maliki you know how highly we defend Sahaba but we took Algeria from Fatimids through debate, proof, not through genociding other sects like the Dawaesh wanted in Syria. You looked at a map and saw Daesh take 80% of Syria being aided by Israel and you thought it was a good thing? I know you're a Najdi and you people don't represent Sunnis at all you represent Saudi and Israelis. Syrian people did protest but the ones who brought guns were not the Syrian people. Why do you think the Zionists wrote articles saying AQ is their ally in Syria? It was literally under Daesh but you want to talk about Assad lol. Excellent questions and answers, but I wish you would have engaged more in the discussion with him and had more follow-up questions instead of just moving along to the next question you have prepared each time.

      Thanks... Yes indeed (follow-up questions) a suggestion that several friends had too...
      But time was limited and many topics were there to cover. There was a Forth part even. I didnt manage to cover it.
      It could have been better.

    • @alexanderrigby6917
      @alexanderrigby6917 2 года назад

      Well well and the question is this; where will allah guide you. Into the pits of destruction. Have a good look. The flag of lslam cloaks the banner of idolatry. The sickle moon and the sun disc. Allah represents the moon god and is an abomination to the true God. Yahshua Messiah says it is the Spirit that gives life and the flesh profits nothing and furthermore, take heed that no one deceives you. Many false prophets will arise and many false teachers. Satan deceives the whole world including this cult of lslam. Muhammad the pedophile prophet who married a six year old girl is dead in the tomb and will stand before the Yahshua Messiah, the one appointed of God to judge the whole world. And those that live by the sword as did Muhammad will give an account. Come out of Babylon My people is the utterance of God. The true God. Islam is paganism and is cloaked in the doctrine of Babylon. This is the truth and when you know the truth the truth will set you free. HalleluYah.

    رحيل المفكر الأممي نعوم تشومسكي خسارة لجميع أحرار العالم ولمناهضي الايديولوجيات المتطرفة وعلى رأسها الحركة الصهيونية، وخسارة وللقيم الانسانية جمعاء.
    رحم الله كل انسان مناهض للظلم والغطرسة والميز العنصري.

    شكرا لكم…مقابلة رائعة رغم أن أراءه الدينية مثيرة للجدل. ولا غرو في ذلك إذ إن معظم طروحاته لا تتعلق بالدين أصلا.

      @Kyle Stewart Hello dear:
      I have looked at your confused questions and have made a set of unfair comparisons, and this is due to the angle of your deductive understanding about the course of events and the political reality, which has become complex, but in comparison with Islamic law, you should look at the tolerant Prophet Muhammad’s biography and you will understand the true meaning of Islam.

    عندما تسمع له تجد كما أننا كبشر قصرنا مع هذا الفيلسوف العبقري، و بالأحرى هو فلتة زمانه والحمدلله أننا عاصرناه، واستمعنا له، سواء اختلفنا أم اتفقنا إلا أنه في كثير مما يقوله فيه الخير والمحفز للعمل الصالح وللحيرة الأولى للرسول الكريم وما بعدها من أعمال صالحات وأخوة ورحمة وإحسان.
    كم أشعر بأن هذا البروفسور قد ظلم في زماننا، وأننا لم ندرك قيمته، كم للأسف هي الصرخات والأدلة والبراهين والحجج التي يقدمها لنصرة القضايا العادلة؛ قضية كرامة الإنسان تلو الكرامة.
    شكرا أخي المبدع صاحب القناة لجهدك، لسعيك، لمحاولتك، لحيرتك التي بداخلها الصدق تلو الصدق تلو المحبة.
    استوقفتنا الكثير من الكلم والحكم والتجربة المتصالحة لنعوم تشومسكي أطال الله في عمره.
    شكرا شكرا
