@@Bestbuilt04please I need help , please give me your opinion . I have the code P219A in a 2016 Honda , I already did electrical testing on MAF , MAP , Coils , spark plugs have only 7,000 miles , I removed them and they look clean , I removed the EGR and I cleaned it , I removed the injectors and did electrical test and cleaned them , I can’t find the problem. A mechanic told me it is a leak . Apart from the check engine light the engine has less power, and when I accelerate I feel the engine stalling a little bit, when the car is parked with the engine ON I hear a weird noise in the muffler like a leak . A mechanic told me it was a leak . So today I bought a smoke machine and the EGR has like vents and is leaking smoke from there , is that normal ? Should I buy a new EGR ?
@@Full_throttle_YamR6 hmm that’s tough to say as I am still learning as an apprentice, what I can say is it wouldn’t be the egr causing your engine to stall as many diesel engines operate without them. EGR gasses will dirty up the engine making it less efficient over time and eventually harming crittical engine parts ! Its a waste ! Gm on certian engines like the 99 to 04 4.3's are factory EGR delete ! Amazing how clean my engine is after 22 years of service !
@@SanjoManigos no it’s more complicated than this. You need to physically remove the EGR and tune the car to let the computer know it no longer has an EGR if not it will go on limp mode and won’t be drivable
If no nitrogen enters the cylinder then there is no nitrogen oxide in the exhaust gases and therefore there is no need for the exhaust gas recirculation system
Both EGR and Direct Injection, CC ventilation getting sucked back through the throttle body/intake and gumming up the intake valves as well as lowering the octane rating. Low tension piston rings, particulate filters, catalytic converters and finally extended oil change intervals, ALL contribute to slowly suffocating and destroying an engine. An engine from the 1970's and 80's were more fuel efficient, size for size! LOL.
EGR mandates are forcing the method, not the result and therefore government overreach. If you can get as good or vetter results without it, who cares? 😂 The political influence of youtubers teying to justify horrible mandates needs to end. You are unanimously outnumbered by people left stranded by these awful systems.
Lacking badly on details on how the EGR valve is controlled/monitored. How often is valve is opened/ closed? What signal tells the valve to open...and by how much? How are potentiometer signals utilized on valve operation? This video was kind of a waste of time.

How does it work?? It doesn't. It just fucks up your engine.
EGR is the bane of many car owner’s existence
I can't pass emissions on my 2002 Mazda Tribute because of it. Can't figure out the issue.
Good for emissions reduction though.
@joebob4943 They do reduce NOX emissions a bit. However, Selective Catalyst Reduction I think is more effective and much better for the engine.
Especially on diesels!
You forgot to mention that EGRS reduce engine power due to a reduction in air in the cylinders
Only at part-throttle. It will reduce MPG a little and change up the tune if deleted.

@@reubenmorris487which percentage of fuel savings on diesel engines by deleting egr?
omg new video yay
Yes, unfortunately it's not possible to release new videos often yet. But I'm working on it ;)
Egr delete. Best satisfaction ang engine freedom in my diesels. Thanks
Forgot about the DPF 😂😂😂
When you dare make a video about The role of The flywheel. Thank you !

Thanks everyone for watching."

Damn really? I should maybe delete my egr🤔 but will reduced fuel efficiency, sh*t I can't decide 😅
@@SanjoManigosit won’t reduce fuel efficiently. It will ACTUALLY increase fuel efficiency because the engine won’t longer eat its own poop
I’m in the process of deleting my egr system too

your objects are nicely explained. Which software are you using to make these tutorials?
The egr not only reduces power but also increases fuel consumption
Very nice explanations! Just out of curiosity, what's the animation software used for these videos? Thanks!
Wow🎉🎉🎉 what a podcast
Thanks.

Heavy trucks already stop use EGR system for a lot of reasons...😊
In the case of heavy vehicles it is normal not to use EGR, they need the best performance from their engine
If no nitrogen enters the cylinder then there is no nitrogen oxide in the exhaust gases and therefore there is no need for the exhaust gas recirculation system
That is correct, however air is 78% nitrogen, so if you plan on using air for the combustion process nitrogen will be present.
@@terry9397 look up aircraft nitrogen generator system but instead of the nitrogen going into the engine it is pumped away from the engine
The mfrs could definitely have done a better job with egr.

The good video
The same day I deleted the EGR valve as the car have passed the MOT.

What about trucks same process..?
A well tuned engine puts out less fumes than poorly tuned one with EGR.

Standard CO2
EGR Off
You will improve the performance of your engine, but you will pollute more, and you may not pass the annual inspection
EGR off
humans have an exhaust system too lol
If you have air conditioning system and service of car video send I will pay for that videos
Może lepiej brać spaliny do EGR po oczyszczeniu, czyli za DPF, a nie przed układem oczyszczania spalin.
