I played alongside Taylen Green in high school he’s destined for greatness
When I saw his strides in the Oregon State game I couldn't believe Hank was starting over him. He's one of the best pure athletes I've ever seen at Boise and I've been watching since the early 90s. So excited to watch him, and can't wait until they start mixing in play action as well
But can he throw?
@@heyman537 He's 24-38 on the year. I believe he can. Going to get some monster pass plays just by extending plays. He didn't need to throw vs San Diego State. Boise almost had three 100 yard rushers that game. When defenses start selling out to stop the run there is going to be a bunch of opportunities to throw the ball down field. Vince Young really isn't a crazy comp for this kid.

@@kfoster3054 Agreed. It seemed that Tim Plough and Hank were almost joined at the hip. Tim Plough was so obsessed with having a passing offense, that he was almost dismissive of anyone who didn't fit his mold. Dirk is smart enough to know, if it isn't working then figure out what does work.

Great bounce back win after that horrible performance at UTEP. Great decision to fire Tim Plough and I’m glad that Bachmeier left. With this new rushing offense I’m excited to see what comes next!

Haven't been this excited for Boise's football since Kellen Moore left. Green, Holani, Jeanty look great. The WRs will start making plays once teams have to sell out to stop the run. Can't wait for next Friday
Agreed I'd almost say that's why we couldn't pass to well in previous games. We had no run game no threat on the ground that and hank is slow and can't make a read on time. We have a 3 head monster now looking forward to this team!

@@taylorm_2892 Hank was torture to watch. The Florida St game years back was cool, but then he just never got better. The UCF game was the last straw for me, when he inexplicably threw back across his body going out of bounds into the middle of the field and cost BSU the game.

@@kfoster3054 yea agreed I liked the kid just never reached his full potential for whatever reason. Hope green grows and shows that he can take that next step. I trust DK will teach fundamentals and help his passing mechanics foot work and his release need help kid has all the measurables to be great!
TG10 opens up so many more doors for the offense. The offense looked too sluggish with Hank at QB. Some real excitement lately. Hopefully TG10 stays around to make something for BSU vs. leaving for bigger and brighter lights. Reminds me of another #10 at Texas years ago!

I'm still weary about taylan greens ability to throw down field. if he can be a true dual threat this offense will be unstoppable.
I wouldn't be worried man. Go watch the first third down conversion of the game. He made a beautiful throw. The running game is going to open up single coverage, maybe even cover zero with no safeties. He is gonna get some TD passes.
@@kfoster3054 he just doesn't look good throwing the ball. Even on the pick that he threw he didn't even square up at all to throw and had no momentum behind it. A 6'6 QB shouldn't be getting the ball tipped like that. I hope that he improves on that aspect because his athleticism makes him exciting to watch.

Taylen Green is a better quarterback than Hank Bachmeier. He plays a lot better.
The thing I noticed about green is as soon as he sees he is in trouble he goes.
Hanko will wish he was back here, he will never have this much fun again, he is at best a back up some place.
Typical of the snow flake mentality of the kiddos these days, a few years ago I read that his girl friend had to help him learn the playbook ,,I said oh oh we are in trouble.

@@banjobenson9348 bro I ran into him and he made the mistake of talking football. He kept referring to dime defense and finally I asked how many DBs is in a dime D and he told me 5. I played it off like oh ok I understand.

Hank cut and ran when the going got tough,. I wish I could get these announcers on my radio, after watching these highlights it is a whole different game because the BSU announcers are so bad. Cutter will be able to make adjustments and a running QB is what the MNTN west needs to win.
