I hate the fact that all kb manufactures assume you have a computer on stage with you. I want to pre-program patch changes and send them to sound modules via MIDI and not screw with a computer when playing live, and have a decent semi-weighted feel. Is that too much to ask?
There are a few things you can do in a live situation with this board. It is really geared and advertised as mostly a DAW controller. For live performance, the booklet (manual if you would really call it that), is fairly worthless. Oddly, even youtube is fairly barren of info on live use. I may make a vid at sometime just to help out newbies of the LX+. Mostly, you just set around and figure it out on your own. Wasn't so happy with that, but it is what it is. Nice little board at a great price though. As a side note to newbies...DO NOT mess with anything while playing live or you can really be in a mess and have to turn everything off and back on...not good! I know that holds true with most devices, but you can trash a setup REALLY quick with this board if you do not already know what you are doing. Good luck!

25 keys is tooooooooooo small. 32/37 keys that's perfect. We, the consumers, are so limited on that. There are so few 32 keys USB controllers, out there... I wonder why?!?!?
no Ableton Implementation on Board, you can download a simple implementation on the nekatar website, or you make your own via midi learn function in ableton....
I finally found with Nektar a decent MIDI controller deeply integrated with MPE compatible DAWs like Cubase or Bitwig. It's a shame that Ableton is a mess to work with Roli!
The Nektar company updated the keyboard, and they forgot to sign the pitch wheel and modulation under the wheels on the keyboard, or they thought that people would figure it out for themselves, it seems like a trifle but a fact😂
There's no need to "sign" them. The wheels work differently from each other. One moves freely and the other snaps back. So there really isn't any need to label them.

Since it's a synth-style key systems and they're not semi-weighted, they feels and play like a normal keyboard.
you're WRONG, lx88 have semi weighted keys, feels nice.... is not great like a digital piano but neither a normal keyboard

Tried both keylab essential and this one in the store. Nektar LX+ series has semi-weighted keys and much better feel when playing.
