Unbelievably high standard of singing and an extraordinary composition. Getting the same flavor as of RD Burman's music, in fact far better. Hard to believe that Akshay Mohanty Sir had no formal training in music. This is what we call a musical genius. Superlative song
Obviously the intensity and passion the western tone in the music is some what nearer to RD Burman who was better but one thing that oriya songs had then which the hindi songs didn't was the sweetness in voice due to softer pronunciation which was enhanced when sanskrit words were used in old oriya accent in poetries ultimately song's. These gave the odiya song's a sweet captivating effect than hindi which is good but have bit hard tone than oriya or eastern languages.
The composition of Khoka bhai was unique and immortal. And the best part is pure Odia lyrics. What happened to the lyricist of now days? I am not saying that there is no good musics now but I literally hate the words are being used in the songs. I can't explain my gratitude towards Khoka bhai.
