90% of all media in the United States are owned by just 6 private companies. This Sam guy is likely associated with lots of rich and powerful people. They tell you what they want you to hear. I would be very scrupulous and critical when hearing the news if I were you.

Not an accounting student, but my father and sisters are chartered accountants. While my sisters were studying corporate governance, they used to tell me stories regarding Enron and what happened there. Literally had goosebumps while seeing that guy.

As a Korean, can you do a story on Kwon Do-hyung of Luna? He has done the exact same thing as SBF and somehow managed to evade authorities and having a time of his life spending the fortune he defrauded from everyday people.

Really interested to see what Sam’s legal strategy will be. He’s been talking a big game about how innocent he is and how this is all just a big oopsie, but when he’s staring down the possibility of years of hard time, a plea deal can probably look pretty attractive.

How does him being arrested provide justice to the people who lost their money? Those people will never get any of that money back. The elephant in the room here is that they deserved to lose it. Why? Because anyone with two brain cells knew Ftx was shady at the very least. Their platform sounded too good to be true, so smart people knew it was.

Coffee - can you do a deep dive of the House committee hearing questions? AOC posed a really interesting question about some time gaps just before the bankruptcy filing where FTX platform was opened to allow the Bahamas to withdraw funds before it froze. And then convenient timing of information release and SBF arrest. Very suspicous.

That would happen either way. Breaking the Jay Mazini story to a mainstream audience and interviewing his victims was a much bigger accomplishment.

They did not file charges based on the video. The interview isn't even evidence right now. Get your stuff straight. Correlation is not equal to causation
