I currently use the Motorolla M1A. It will randomly disconnect and reconnect for interface im assuming. It doesnt happen every time I drive, and seems to be worse in crowded areas. Do you have any disconnect issues with this one?

Hi thanks for watching my video. So far I haven't had many disconnect issues with this. Although I haven't tested it much on crowded places. I will keep you posted if I do in the near future.

How's the lag when clicking on stuff on the screen from it actually doing it ?

So, I see you have tried two other wireless devices on your Tacoma. Which one do you like the most? I was looking at possibly getting the Carlinkit 5.0 the only downside is there is no Netflix or RUclips available in it. But the others that have it cost a lot more. I’m currently an Apple user.

Hi thanks for watching! That's a very good question. I've tried quite a bit of these actually. For a simple one with no need of Netflix, this is the fastest and most reliable I've found so far. If you need Netflix, I like the octacore from one car stereo. I haven't tried the version from Carlonkit yet so I'll reach out to see if they can send me one to review.

Thanks for the info! As of right now I’m debating between the Carlinkit 5.0 (2air) or the Ottocast U2Air Pro.
I know the Carlinkit is able to do Apple CarPlay and or android auto but the Ottocast it’s either one or the other in two separate wireless boxes. I’m looking for the best most reliable CarPlay without issues.

@@andy.hanway I personally like the car link better!

@@themandiyrin well I ended up getting the Carlinkit 5.0 2Air and have had it for a couple weeks now trying to resolve issues that I am having. I would not recommend it.
Unfortunately, half the time it wouldn’t connect even with a 20 minute drive to work, and every time I try to use Siri and I had the stereo in the background it would kick it off and never returned back without having to go into settings and go into FM mode after a couple tries it kept going into auto kit mode every time I use Siri. Their customer service is a joke after going back-and-forth messaging them over the last few nights. I finally said I’m thinking I might just return it and they automatically got into jerk mode.
Now I might look into getting the Ottocast U2 Air pro. I seen your video that you had the older model. How did you like that one? I heard the new version is supposedly supposed to be faster I guess.
The only other option is the One car stereo ai box lite but man the price just seems to keep going up on that model.

@@andy.hanwayhi! Sorry to hear about your experience. Mine is the opposite and it works well and still using the car link on my daily drives actually!
I tried the ottocast and that one is a bit of a hit or miss for me so I ended up replacing it. One car stereo octacore has been on my Tacoma and if you want a sure fire connection all the time, I found that that one was the best. The ai box lite has been great as well and I've kept that on my Honda.

I still use it to this daily! No major lagging, every now and then but that might be due to my phone! Highly recommend still.
