Hello Brother Hemant Darbar, Nice to see you blogging. Wishing you the best of luck. But pl tell me one reason for your leaving THT. Does it come in your way of activity or anything else? With regards Pinakin Vadodara, Gujarat
Pinakin shah first of all thank for watching my video and all your appreciation thnx a lot for that . And second thing about leving THT is not any problems wit them all members are good soles . I just left it bcs of some personal reason actually I left some other groups also same time . Something came in my mind and I left it . Nothing else
I also own a himalayan. But I am sick of its poor braking performance. I already replaced the front pad with that of the yamaha FZ but didn't found any better alternative for the rear brake. Do you have any suggestions for better braking performance on the himalayan?
I felt completely opposite! In my view, Himalayan has very good brakes! I've used them in downhill straight, but still held up very good. Thing is you need to know the purpose of the bike, and respect it. You can't expect it to jump and hop like a KTM! It is heavy and needs time to stop. In combination with downshift, the stock pads do a splendid job. You also need to have proper weight balancing. Use more of the front and lesser of the rear. PS: FZ pads? Why would you do that? If I were altering, I'd be more inclined to consider double disc modifications, the stock ones are huge single disc brakes!
Actually I think even double disc rear is not a good idea for these types of bikes, for comparison look at any of the big bikes in the segment. There is a reason why the engineers decided against them.
Very nice video! Always happy to see you working on something nice for the bike! 👍😊
Oil brake pads pe nahi jayega?
