As someone who carries an epipen and has very serious nut allergies, I want to make a couple points: 1) Even though the packaging says to do it, swinging it is *entirely unnecessary.* The amount of force you need is minimal, less than giving someone a back massage. Way less force than juicing a lime/lemon, if that helps. The needle is spring loaded, you're not doing anything more than activating the spring! Swinging it could cause you to miss, or hit yourself, or do a glancing blow, all of which makes the situation immeasurably worse. 2) ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS grab it with your fist. You have more control over it grabbing with your fist, but if you put your finger over the end, *and you put it over the wrong end,* it can cause permanent damage. The needle is spring loaded, and it will go through your finger nail. Bad stuff. (An NCIS episode had Tony do this, and it caused quite a bit of incredulity at the best of the best of the navy not knowing how an epipen works!) 3) I think Gibi touched on this but I want to make sure it's covered, an epipen doesn't cure or end the reaction, it just postpones until someone can get to the hospital and get the help they need. My parents ordered 6 total epipens when I was a kid, especially due to having concerns about peanuts on planes or me being the first in my elementary school to ever have food allergies, they wanted their bases covered. It opens up the airways and allows for us to breathe when anaphylaxis closes our airways. It provides about 15 minutes of time. ALWAYS call 911 immediately if you're administering epinephrine (either Epipen or Auvi-Q or whatever other injector) However, I did not know about the revelation that you should alternate thighs when giving multiple doses, that's very good information to know, thanks for sharing that! Edit: Some things to add! My assumption about not needing to swing your fist came from the point of view of someone else administering the epipen to the person having the reaction. *However,* as Kiah explained to me, if you're self-administering, the swinging motion is definitely necessary to provide enough force (at least in their experience, and it makes sense to me). one major thing I forgot was that epipens can go through clothes!! that's one of the major things that is the reason for the auto-injector, it's great in emergencies because you don't have to fold back sleeves or pants, it can go right through denim and jeans. *It does not* go through snowpants, though, as they are thick enough that the needle might not reach the person's leg. For instance, kids at recess at school, wearing a coat and snowpants in the snow in the winter, this becomes a problem. one thing to add about anaphylaxis that I have heard, is that it feels like an overwhelming since of dread. Someone going through that type of reaction can be really worried and dreading something, so be careful and calm around them
This is very much useful thank you! You never know what might happen so its great to know these things Alsp now that you mention it i very faintly remember that ep of ncis hahah

I instantly got tingles when you started closing the top of the little samples at 28:40, can you maybe do this ( I mean close objects, little things and lids ) in your ultra rare/ specific triggers video or as an individual video? 🤩
I loved the: "So this is your first allergy test in quite a while, welcome back." at the beginning, it was a nice way of referring to the original video, and the fact that it's been 5 years since it was uploaded, without explicitly talking about it. I really like that sometimes you do remakes of your old videos Gibi, like when you did one of your first video for the 5th year anniversary of your channel last year, cause it makes it easier to see how much you've improved in what you do, by comparing the two videos, even tho the originals were already great, the new ones are definitely better under every single aspect. As always I really enjoyed the professionalism and realism that your Medical Roleplays always have, and I appreciate all the effort that clearly goes into them, so thank you Gibi for the video and thank you Ben for the arm, just like with the original video it made the experience way more immersive.

I instantly got tingles when you started closing the top of the little samples at 28:40, can you maybe do this ( I mean close objects, little things and lids ) in your ultra rare/ specific triggers video or as an individual video? 🤩
I'd love to see that
Omg yes. The soft clicking sounds were amazing!
Please watch us too🧮
Yess I vouch
Poor ben acting like a test animal😂
Allergy tests are the only proper asmr trigger I have, and just when I needed it! thank you gibi :)
This video is absolutely relaxing ❤🔥
I'm currently covered in red spots because of my newfound sesame allergy. The way I wheezed when you mentioned you also had it 😭 what are the odds
I got an allergy like that when I was little with sunscreen except I was rubbing myself on tables and watching Peppa pig 🐷 and Team ommie zommies (Soz for bad spelling)
0.34 percent of the population; or 1.1 million children and adults. So slim but not impossible.
Listen to her update video from end of last year - her allergy is BAD. Like, lethal.
@@molchmolchmolchmolch yeah, it absolutely sucks that some people have it that bad. One of my classmates is exactly the same but with any kind of nut.
I just got new headphones and man this is PERFECT
I like how we can hear Ben breathe in the background, he seems so relaxed xD
Your first allergy test ASMR was the first ASMR I ever saw of you. Been watching you ever since ❤️
Ive seen this video a million times and i love it
Gibi helps me out so much, man. I just wrote a hundred page script with the soothing sounds of Gibi pouring through my headphones every night I worked on it. It really helped me focus, but it also made me tired as hell on several occasions.
Gibi: have you noticed a change since the weathers warmed up?
Me in PA: it's snowing right now
I feel you 😪
blank space‼️
night💤
Promised my bf to try and make my sleep schedule more regular/better, since I went to sleep at 4:30 am yesterday, and this helps a ton. Normally, I wouldn't be sleepy, but I am thanks to this video 😁
Gibi: Have you been experiencing any sort of skin sensitivity?
Ben: ...😐
Gibi: Ok🙄
Me reading this comment the part come up
I want to say I love your asmr
I hope everyone has a good sleep and remember you are loved! 💕🕺🏻
I loved the sponsor for today’s video! I would totally buy some, but I doubt my parents would allow it.
Great video too, I love the medical related roleplay’s!
as a now-adult whose parents rarely let me order stuff as a kid: you could always let them know about it and offer to make it a fun experience for all of you! you could try the snacks together and find new flavors you all might like. if they’re still not down, just know someday you’ll get to order that kind of stuff for yourself, like i do now lol
I wish I was a kid again
@@sarahbarrera1235 as an adult who had a mom who really couldn’t afford to buy us cool stuff, I buy my daughter stuff like slime randomly because she enjoys it but I think I enjoy it more 🤣 I will play with all her stuff when she’s at school
I tried it and it’s really good I love all the flavors!

i’ve had bokksu before it’s soooo good!! a lot of the stuff they sent over was super interesting and different from what we normally have here i loved it
This is so calming! Im jealous, when i took an allergy test they pronged me about 20 times with a sharp needle with the allergen to see if i was allergic 🫠
This sound helps me relieve stress.
I’m a simple woman. I see Gibi and I click! Happy International ASMR Day!
there's an asmr day??
@CrystaLLse im afraid so crystal, im afraid so
Why is it so funny to imagine Ben just bored out of his mind kindly doing this for Gibi
He's probably playing Raid Shadow Legends or something on his phone the entire time. I mean, I'd be playing Solitaire or a version of Sudoku. 😀
Why would he be bored? It's a treat. I would pay money for someone to draw on and gently poke my arm.
It probably feels good on your arm most likely relaxing and soothing the kind of thing that makes you wanna fall asleep 💤
Man, your medical/test roleplays are so good. I remember discovering your channel through a hearing test roleplay a few years ago. Might still be my favorite video!
I love how you are so organised that you even have an epipen on standby
The sponsor for this video is amazing I have lived in Japan for 3 years and ever since I moved I have been wanting Japanese snacks I am definitely checking it out
I love this kind of like the fast roleplay “avoid air, water, sun, basically everything” not exactly what you said but close love this love you!💖🦈
I love how she treats everything so kind
I LOVE these tests. They hurt and itch a littlw bit but when theyre first being done it is so satasfyinf idk why
Sponsor ends at 2:48
Thx ur an underrated comment. Love to you 😊
As we say in Brasil, irmão, vc não é um telespectador, vc é um prefeito
Having allergies myself and having lived this before, this is SOOO relaxing... well done
It's very special to even watch this I really love ASMR usually I listen to it for fun
it’s 7:30 pm, im drinking a monster and eating ice cream while watching a video made to help me fall asleep for entertainment. good times over here
it's 2am for me and i have to get up at 6am woopsie
I actually just had my allergy test a few months ago it really is relaxing them touching your arm gently. This is pretty accurate! Ben must of been so relaxed!
I've been needing an allergy test to confirm I'm allergic to cats, then I forget my benadryl, and have a nose running like a faucet, puffy eyes, and all the other stuff that comes with allergies. So I think that just kinda confirms.. yet I have two cats getting a third.
Wait your is soft? At mine they use a scraper
@@kathryn8966 Yeah mine is also a scraper! But it could also be she didn’t want to actually scrape Ben lol
As someone who hasn’t bought this subscription or even touched an authentic japanese snack I can confirm that you are missing out on the best food in the world
I normally don’t like medical style roleplays but this one was SO GOOD.
I just got an allergy test yesterday and watched your old allergist video beforehand, what a coincidence!
