@realfrawd The sound you heard was racing clutch. every time I depress the clutch pedal it has that sound, and it does sound like suction or blow off valve sound, but this car is totally naturally aspirated. This was my last race of last year. The car has a roll cage, a very close ratio gear set. the d15b was ported and tuned to output more than 170 hp at the crank. there are steel ball joints everywhere at the suspension components. and anti roll bar taken from EK type R.
That was some very impressive driving man....that little car & engine made me proud of hondas....was that the suction i heard at every gear change?....& the white civic at the end was awesome too.....wish i could get the specs of ur car & his car from engine to suspension :-D....two thumbs way up man!!!!
@dddominusss That one... it is the same EG chassis as the one in the road race video, but totally reworked for this season. spot seam welded with BTCC style roll cage welded onto the chassis and to the shock mounts. This little EG can pull 1.6g total (lateral plus acceleration and deceleration) in corners.
Good lines try tuning your vtec actuator for tps and voltage input around corners it helps full volts on wot and pulse down + - on up shifts gives it just a bit more
Good driving. Doesn't look like first season of racing! Good late breaking. But some of the corners before long full throttle, try to get off the break a bit earlier and get on throttle earlier. It will make big difference in lap time even if you had to break earlier. Also try to start steering while down shifting. Don't work any more on later breaking, but shorter breaking.
@dddominusss thank you for your comment but I don't have the engine data. It is a JDM d15b highly tuned NA engine outputting roughly 180hp at the crank, using original ROM tuned by engine shop.
@CadetLD thanks for watching. I will put one up soon, it is about mishap compilation from 2010's practice, races. about injury... It's about using genuine brand 6 point harness and bucket seat, with HANS. Once I went to a wall and the car flipped twice and I walked out without a scratch. Months later a guy broke his lower leg at the same place because his belts went loose upon impact.
It's a 1,500c.c. category race. It's a JDM D15B. Ported, lightened balanced crankshaft, race cam, etc etc. The engine can rev up to 8000rpm and it normally doesn't last beyond 8-10hrs. I would take a B16, B18 any day but the race is 1500cc so Toyotas, old mitsubishi 3 door coupe, old Nissans can race too.
want to build my fa5 civic similar to the specs of a circuit racing civic. starting with the suspension before power. I want the best I can afford (1000 or less) any suggestions of a manufacturer to go with? and maybe a specific model of coilovers?? I need it all.... including sway bars etc. all advice will be helpful
I think you can start with honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-2006-2015-79/springs-worth-best-kind-most-drop-2710205/ And consider performance tires. Which one comes first depends on your preference, budget, etc. For track day use, tires come first. Good suspension and all, without good traction, is useless. On the other hand if you are not planning to do track day, the money is better spent on lowering springs, rims, tires, and aero, for the nice look.

@oldskulsneakers
Yes, last race of the series. A street circuit that always produces all kinds of heavy damages.

@oldskulsneakers And, alsot the corners in that course are very very tight!
@golferchin76 Thanks, here I found something related to technical especifications (JDM D15B EG race car time attack video).
Great driving, where is this in Thailand?

1:23 When you realize that the Tegiwa wing was the better option

Nice run mate, can't believe a SOHC VTEC EG could be that quick.....sadly mine couldn't
mind telling wats the brand/model of the racing clutch u mentioned? and if possible a link to the product page?...thanks
That is the way you drive a car!
What kind of suspension you got? Badass videos by the way
That 4dr is fast
2:40 godddamm working that car to limits
I want my car to handle like that did you use front and rear sway bars, please let me know !??
I used EK Civic Type R's sway bars. The car also had steel ball joints in suspension linkages, very stiff race coilovers, and it ran on slicks.
Thank you so much for the help, i really enjoyed the video !..
That is just amazing!!!! the best civic video ever :o
@Logheuger you mean 'tough leg'?
@TheGRANT78 what is a pedlar, Grant?
Amazing video and pro driving skills!
Engine data please!
Thanks.-
what kind of cluster is that

Bangsaen! I love this circuit
This race is damn intense
It was a great hassle. too bad the clutch broke.

musica para mis oidos, bunisimo.
@golferchin76 a great input there :D
D15 turbo?
Nice
was this a stock gear box or was it custom gears?
2:46 was very close, I brake too late. 7:59 is textbook driving to slide into this tight bend.
The tires are Kumho slicks, control tire of the event.
i would like to have my d15b7 engine like thats wow powerful
Where the place this track from???
Looks like Macau.

Like Macau! No margin for error!
Not as deadly and dangerous as Macau but challenging and fun. Best part is they host 6hr endurance races over here once a year.
