    **Important Note**
    I really enjoy watches and that's why I started this channel so I could review them regularly but my satisfaction is not found in owning or experiencing watches, no matter how many I may accumulate or how luxurious and expensive they may be . . .
    Wise King Solomon said in Ecclesiastes 5:10 "He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity."
    The truth is, material possessions of any kind, money, power, etc. never can and never will satisfy our hungering souls. Only knowing, loving, and serving God can truly satisfy.
    The only way we can have a real relationship with God, the Creator of the Universe, is through the Lord Jesus Christ, the sinless Son of God.
    "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6
    Through Christ's sacrificial death on the cross, for my sins and your sins, and His resurrection from the dead we can have peace with God (Romans 5:1), forgiveness of sins (Acts 10:43), eternal life (John 3:16), and so much more!
    In Christ, we can know true joy now and for all eternity.
    "He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life." - 1 John 5:12

    If only SIEKO spent a bit more money on putting metal shroud on their solar models like what is found as standard on the (ok more expensive) Prospex Automatics (I reviewed it actually several times). I know their marketing is to keep as standard the metal shrouds on the more expensive models eg 1000m divers etc. But now with so many after market trick parts manufacturers making metal shrouds....... I think too for all the actual diving watches in this format, those plastic shrouds will look like terrible after a few serious dives. I've accidentally banged up my metal shroud on my Prospex several times which such force it would just rip gashes out of the plastic shrouds. Thanks for showing!

    • @TheTownWatch
      @TheTownWatch  4 года назад +1

      Bush Camping Tools Thanks for watching and commenting! I hear what you’re saying, the plastic shrouds do seem like they could break pretty easily with enough force!

    The shroud too of course, restricts where one can grasp the bezel in order to set it. May not be an issue to some. These days there is a strong movement to wear a dive watch just for the looks (I guess this is perfectly ok as they are usually tough watches by design), so one may never bother to set the "elapsed time' at all if not diving.

    • @TheTownWatch
      @TheTownWatch  4 года назад

    I would only ask if by putting the screws back, do they protrude out to 46mm.
    I guess they do, so I would need to find or ask my watch maker to put in some flat ones to close those gaps.
    I've also seen another video where guy removed the shroud, put it on a leather and it just looks insane.
    It is so vintage, a whole circle down case that I love.
