This song takes me back in time when good friends, and some good cold beer would most definitely make for good times. I'm 2 years from 60 and I wonder if the younger generation still get together, and let the nights kick in to memorable moments.
@@Shadow_Sketch I may live in the City of Chicago but I still have my small town roots. The biggest problem is this generation just doesn't know the meaning of fun no social skills thanks to social media. People need to go out live and just let loose

definitely makes me think of the old times, Im married now at 27 almost 28 with kids. but man, Late teens early twenties, Going on late night dip runs with the boys, Hanging out at walmart parking lots, Or on eachothers farms, Going mudding out in private bogs or offroading in the country feilds, Getting a girl in the bed of your pickup sometimes, Going out shooting, Drive ins, bonfires whike getting drunk, everyone with there trucks, Cruising down the highway, working all week just to go have some fun with the boys. At some point everyone gets married and splits up and takes different paths.
Me and my buddies waited for 3 hours back by the buses outside in the freezing cold after the Eric Church, Justin Moore and Kip Moore concert to see if any of them would come out, and Kip Moore did and we shook hands with him and personally met him. It was definetly worth the wait, he was awesome!
To this day this is one of my favorite songs. It takes me back to living with my cousin, when all we really had was each other and enough money for a case of beer. We'd stay up till early morning just talking about life and listening to music.
This song always makes me happy. There’s just something about Kip Moore that makes me so happy. Makes me want to get together with all my friends for a bonfire

oldstuff I didn't quite say he was country, and I can assure you he doesn't sound close to bon jovi musical style in the 80's, BJ was glam metal and until I see this guy with an electric guitar playing some 80s metal solo he wont be close to BJ in any musical style

I was born and raised on rock, metal and punk from the 80s-present not much of a country fan, but this is a hell of a good song

I love this song to I was raised up on Pop Rock and Country and this is a good country song but I listen to rap too
Yeah pop is basically everything now. I'd still think this is much different than nirvana though to the average consumer.
Ain't nothin like listening to him while driven through the country

When the lights go down
When you're stuck here in this town
With nowhere to go
So you escape through the radio
And you worked all week
To barely make ends meet
Well, I gotta a little cash burning holes in my pocket
Foot on the gas, taking off like a rocket
So come on, come on,
Baby, I'm buying
I got enough to last us all night and
You got the kiss that tastes like honey
And I got a little beer money
Tonight, tonight
Baby, we're drinking
Let's wake the town that never stops sleeping
You got the kiss that tastes like honey
And I got a little beer money
We can dance in the dark
Blow the speakers out of this car
Light it up, burn it down
Until the morning rolls around
In a field, where we can scream
Get away with almost anything
Yeah, every now and then you gotta raise a little hell
Hope we get lucky and stay out of jail
So come on, come on,
Baby, I'm buying
I got enough to last us all night and
You got the kiss that tastes like honey
And I got a little beer money
Tonight, tonight
Baby, we're drinking
Let's wake the town that never stops sleeping
You got the kiss that tastes like honey
And I got a little beer money
So come on, come on,

One thing I love about country music is that they have hot mature men singing great songs and not little teenage boys that sound all the same!!
it's a shame he doesn't write the majority of his music
+BEAT MAH M3AT actually he does
+Riley brown buddy my uncle writes for him. he partners with song writers but they aren't wholly original
Country Music has a tonne of teenage boys singing crappy songs
Also, they have integrity of talent.
I love this song and story. Only thing I laugh about is he says "let's wake the town that never stops sleepin'"... they are awake, they never stop sleeping. 😄
