Guy in a group of people camping on a river recently stepped off a 8-10foot drop peeing. Eroded red clay river bank with roots & stuff hanging out of it. Hit pretty soft sandy spot with no rocks or anything thankfully & rolled right into the mighty PD(yadkin)River. Wasn’t hurt other than maybe his pride. Took some ribbing from his 5 older brothers & friends the next morning, day, evening, night ect. . I tossed him a spare set of sweats & a towel I brought just in case. A whole bag of extras actually. Backup stuff that stays packed and in the truck..+I over pack when I have my little girl w me &/or not hiking. Had a couple boats with motors & all. Like car camping basically. Carry everything but the kitchen sink x 4-5 type of crowd. Was one of those 1st chilly early fall nights. He was the only one didn’t bring much of anything & would have been fine sleeping naked .mild weather in nc. butSome ppl do strange things when they aren’t in a familiar place. Peeing in the corner, dresser drawers ect.not fully awake I’d guess.?.this wasn’t a bunch of 20 somethings on a bender deal,so…?. I get the whole thing about wanting to try something different while traveling or whatever, but that crowd of floating campers…??.just getting there stuff into the tent would be ridiculous..People…?.?oh well..

Hey RUclips friends, it looks like tents have gone inflatable, but where are the comments that tell you can they take wet snow heavy on top without sagging or breaking?
And overnight wet snow can put hundreds or even thousands of pounds on top-- try waking up with the top of the tent now collapse down on you. Where are the evaluative comments on this topic?

2:26 My problem with ALL Multi Tools and Swiss Army-type knives is that although they do a lot of things, they don't really do most of the things I will actually need them for, well. Those dull, small, stainless steel serrated blades? Good luck sawing ANYTHING with one! 🤣The Phillips head screwdriver? Will only fit one size screw without stripping it. As for the rest of the crap? Dead weight in my pack. A decent folding knife made from tool steel with a pocket clip, a titanium spork and a large-tooth Silky Gomboy folding saw is all I ever carry or need because once you've carried something on your back, far enough? You WILL find yourself taking a HARD look at it and asking yourself that honest question "When was the last time I actually needed a bottle opener?" and you will then wisely lighten your load. 😉
