I want to add, idk about Bae's previous life but in this song it feels like she is thanking Hololive and the people in Hololive for saving her. She is in darkness but Hololive brightens her world
It's a similar sentiment as expressed by Towa in her "Palette", and from a somewhat different angle, by Watame in "My Song" too.
@@Seele2015au idk about the lyrics of Pallete and My Song is not about thanking Hololive. Watame is describing mostly her struggles and efforts at keeping trying

@@alial6658 "Pallete" basically talks about Towa's life being dark and monotone before joining hololive while the lights that fly around Watame in "My Song" are perceived to be her gen mates than all the girls.
I think she is while she represents chaos she is more the embodiment of order, balance, and peace but than like with nothingness and darkness chaos came before everything else so she could be everything and yet nothing at the same time.
Just like with Ollie's compilation song this song & MV by Bae is just a love letter to all of Hololive & how happy she is to be there as we are happy for her to be there. It was her anniversary but she gave us one heck of a gift.
I think a lot of the talents feel that way, just listening to some of their songs, like Towa's Palette and Aki's Shallys, for example.

I know I'm a long too late, but if you hadn't watch it yet go watch the anime. The whale reference actually come from there, the song also actually reflect the girl character.
It's impossible not to cry! I've watched the MV probably a dozen times or so, and each time it hits just as hard as the first time.
This cover just overtook my previous favourite Holo song in an instant and is absolute #1 favourite!
