Simple. Straight to the point. Saved my 10th grade engineering grade. Much praise!
Great! 🙂

I want to make 6 and 7 blade prop. Please guide
You can use a similar method
Simply the best tutorial that I ever watched
Thanks for your praise
Thank you a lot, this thing helped me in my school project. Everything was clear!!
Great, you´re welcome.
Thanks Wolfgang, this practical examples are really useful!
Great :) - you´re welcome
Thanks!

Thanks for making it an easy tutorial Sir !
You´re welcome
@@wolfgang.walden.cad.training Keep up ur good work sir
I´ll try ;)
Thank You!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you´re welcome
Thank you very much, it helped me a lot!
Great, you´re welcome
dont know why i cant do the fillet. its seems that after thickening, some parts of the fin was detached from the cylinder
Change the values of the axis-extrude.
Had the same problem. I forgot to "use" the point of the helix to conect the line. Then i had .05 values on the thickness which were .5. Corrected that and worked just fine.
Hi Wolfgang, I have been using Onshape since from an year. But nobody knows that this software also exist. And they still using old CAD. Is there any good future for Onshape
Can´t tell. There are still a lot of tools missing. The one and only selling point is - it is cloud based and therefore you can use it on almost any device.
Hi Wolfgang. Nice video in terms of how to construct elements, but in practice a propeller would most likely have an aerofoil section. Could you show how you would add that section to the first blade please?
Regards Mark in the UK
I know 😉 - just use a sweep or a loft with the correct profile
MASTER 🙏🙏🙏
Thanks :)
nice
thanks
Trying to draw a 2 blade prop with thicker blades (4-5mm). Can't get the blades to merge with cylinder when thicker. Any ideas?
Maybe a "parasolid" problem, because onshape has a "parasolid" kernel. Maybe there is a gab between those parts you want to merge. Maybe some sort of non connected element. I would have to review you model.
Why is it that when i try to do the Helix it doesn't show me "Height and Pitch"?
You have to switch the "input type" to "pitch"
Hi Wolfgang can ask is there a way in on shape to make a propeller/impeller that is fixed in the centre but joined to a motor on the out edge that changes the pitch on the propeller/impeller
thank you
Right now, I would try it with a loft because the sweep has not the necessary options. But I don´t know all the user-created extensions at all. So there might be a solution I´m not aware of.
This is the second vid Ive followed that just refused to work out the same way. Im guessing the software has changed. I need to capture a vid of me following along in a split screen or something.
That is really strange.
When I jump to assembly the fans are removed automatically 😕😖
Do you mean the blades?
@@wolfgang.walden.cad.training yes
thee height and pitch button is not there
Did you select a cylindrical surface first?
Hi , is there any way that i can get the link to this Design .
just search in "public" for "onshape_schiffsschraube_wwc"
instructions unclear, I have an AC-130
Commentary unclear, what would be an AC-130???
@@wolfgang.walden.cad.training its an airstrike
ok - but?
