- kinda cheesy but i thought it was worth uploading....
.sorry for any cuts or skips you hear in the audio, it was the only high quality version i could find and it skips at certain points, i fixed the ones i could hear but if i missed any, sorry =\ Развлечения
In the 90's it was illegal to not have a saxophone in every TV show theme song.
I thought you wrote illegal to have a saxofone solo at first. Whoops.
Lol! Actually in the 80's too! Even the 70's! I remember some great songs with a saxophone climax in them from both the late 70s to the late 80s!
um it was the 80s and also electric guitar, 90s stuff took alot of things from the 80s hence why things like cartoons/music/movies were cool, we hit the 00's then everything went down the toilet
@@GawrGurasBathTubPizza Yes true 🙂 ...I gotta turn off my you tube notifications lol!

Man I would kill to have theme songs like this again.
I literally just came here because thundercat said it's good
My friend turned me on to that interview, but I think it's because he knows that I have proclaimed this song's virtues for over a decade.
Same lol
Prety good though🤣

every disney after school cartoon theme was a banger.
Chip = Indiana Jones
Dale = Magnum, P.I.
That's what the Nostalgia Critic said! lol.
That`s Right lol
that's what captain obvious said
damn, good eye
Chip: I use what all heterosexual chipmunks use: a whip.
Dale: A whip? That's a belt.
Chip: Yeah, the executives at Disney wouldn't let me carry a whip so it's a belt instead.
Sometimes some crimes
Go slipping through the cracks
But these two
Gumshoes
Are picking up the slack
There's no case too big
No case too small
When you need help just call
CHORUS:
Ch-ch-ch-Chip 'N Dale's
Rescue Rangers
Ch-ch-ch-Chip 'N Dale
When there's danger
No, No, it never fails
Once they're involved
Somehow whatever's wrong gets solved
Fresh prints
Not since Watson and Mr. Holmes
Have two minds
So fine
Looked under every stone
When you need some help to save the day
They're never far away
CHORUS
Grey skies - it's trouble
Bad guys see double
When they're around
The chips are never down
SECOND CHORUS:
Ch-ch-ch-Chip 'N Dale's
Rescue Rangers
Ch-ch-ch-Chip 'N Dale
When there's danger
No, no, it never fails
They'll take the clues
And find the wheres and whys and whos
Grey skies - it's trouble
Bad guys see double
When they're around
The chips are never down
Hero
Some times, some crimes go slip in the cracks but then these two, dumb Jews
The people who perform this song are so into it! It just sounds like they're throwing their all into it!
its outstanding. listen to Spiral Zone theme song
@1tiercel Yes it's True! The Jets were all over this!!😁
Hell I rock out everytime I listen to this. My son just looks at me like "dad what are you doing."

This, along with Duck Tales and Tale Spin, are the top 3 best OP songs Disney ever made.

Gummi Bears

i agree with the first comment. i wasnt a huge fan of gummy bears i thought they were lame even as a 4 year old kid

Is this late 80s, early 90s?'
*Sax solo*
Yup.
80s
Casper Christensen It first aired in 1989. The last episode aired in 1990. Disney Afternoon reran it with other Disney cartoons from the 90s and had ANOTHER rerun with all of the other Disney Afternoon cartoons on Toon Disney.
ElectroBlastLuigi I watched Toon Disney, it was pretty good. Cartoons during this time had more effort put into it.
Casper Christensen late 80s, although it was broadcasted until mid 90s
It's so sad it only lasted a year :(

What a wonderful late-80s sax-synth interplay. Feels like childhood. Does anyone know more pieces in this style?
I did. And it’s more like mid-90s pop. Not what I’m looking for. Or did I miss a particular piece?
The Hollywood Squares theme from the late 80s is what you're looking for
s4ndwichMakeR Montana, the european intro.
Check out the racoons theme by Matt Fishel
Candy Dulfer
There's something about this theme song out of all the other Disney Afternoon series (DarkWing Duck, DuckTales, Talespin) I always had a thing for.
These intros kicks ass. These cartoons was made since one of the Disney film studios had shut down so tv became the next target for animation.
@@thesnesgeek 100%. Every month or so i get the 80s nostalgia. And shed a tear for my childhood being so great. Miss the 80s soo much

I know. The 80's and 90's had some of the best TV shows.
@@heatherreagan6166 That's because Disney largely shut down their cinema animation studios in the late 70s/early 80s so there was a shitload of great animators who moved to television just to get work.

...Those shows have absolutely nothing in common with chip and dale.
Also, you're comparing X-men to Chip and dale. That's like saying Barney and Afro samurai are the same, it's complete insanity.
I think you need to have your head examined, man.
gravity falls theme is no where near as good as the classic theme songs (ducktales, chip n' dale rescue ranger...)
Loved this show as a kid & this song was epic!
I still say Cities of gold song. This is nice but go listen to cities of gold.
Feels like I'm back in time again.
Ooooh, this takes me back! This, Gargoyles, Batman: The Animated Series, and Where on Earth Is Carmen Sandiego were my favorite shows as a kid. The levels of nostalgia I'm feeling right now are off the charts!
I don't know what made me think of this song but it just popped in my head and I felt the need to re-live part of my childhood lol.
They don’t make them the way they did in the day. This was the best era of tv shows❤️❤️
This Tale Spin and Duck Tales were my favorite shows

Not cheesy in the slightest. Every fan of the Disney cartoon series can back this up. Thanks for the upload, i love the artwork
best theme song ever!
Yes
No doubt 'bout it.
Love it's subtle new jack swing meets late 1980's saxophone influenced R&B sound to the original theme tune, I was born in 1993 and had a few episodes on VHS, now it makes me feel old
I never know such a version of this song existed and I just bumped into it accidentally oh my goodness it's so amazing
Glad you found it! I grew up listening to this song in the 90s. It was my favorite show/ song of the Disney Morning line up :)

Childhood right here
My god. All kinds of memories. I remember listening to the Disney Afternoon cd so much. Loved it so much.
I really like the sound of the "gray skies" part. Surprised it was taken out of the theme.
Not so much taken out as not played on TV, Disney shortened most of the Disney afternoon themes to one verse to save screen time.
Just like the DuckTales theme, they did an amazing job with a cartoon show's Theme. I love it so much
I miss this show like crazy. And it surprises me that it has a longer theme than Ducktales.
Good times.......sniff............sniff........good FRIGGin times!....
I’m here after hearing the news that the rescue rangers are gonna be in an episode of season 3 of ducktales 2017!
I just saw that clip and my jaw just drop!
It was awesome and fit into the episode perfectly!!!
Me to man me to
Did you happen to see the full episode?
this song was performed by the Jets. but it was sung by other people on tv.
Isnt that just wrong??
The sheer cosmic absurdity of how much effort was put into this theme never ceases to amaze me.
That and the slap bass.
That sweet, sweet slap bass.
Commenting in February 2020. They don’t make cartoon music like this AT ALL anymore. Quality 90s content. I needed this on such a stormy and sad night like tonight.
The kids of today will never no about amazing theme tunes to cartoons.
This, for real, is childhood. Proof? Back in 2002-2004, they rerun this. Twice!
The theme song from Chip and Dale rescue rangers is awesome!

The extended theme (this one) was sung by The Jets who are a pop group from minnesota while the shortened theme used on the tv series was sung by Jeff Pescetto.
Safe to say the Jets won!!!!!
"When there's danger!" still sends chills up my spine

I kind of miss these types of Disney animated series. Instead of being a straight adaptation/continuation of the source material, they took already established characters and combined it with another genre.
Awesome theme for a great show
I remember watching this as a kid just randomly remembered the song and came to listen to it
Oh my gosh. This was my favorite show as a child, I went to Disneyland this Summer and got a hat of the two.
90s cartoons had the best Intro songs! My favorite of all time was the original teenage mutant ninja turtles intro song ❤️

In Dutch "Chip and Dale" are know as "Knabbel en Babbel" which translates back into english to "Nibble and Chat"!! :D
Luigi McPenis Yes, in the dutch version they change "these two gumshoes" to "Knabbel en Babbel". And the text "Chip and Dale" is changed to "Pak ze dan" which translates into english to "Grab them all". The rest of the lyrics is just translated from english to dutch.
The dutch Duck Tales intro is just a one on one translation of the the english version. No changes are made with that song.

NOW THIS WAS THE REAL STUFF BACK THEN!!!😄 I can just imagine them being a part of the rescue aid society (The rescuers & the rescuers down under) as their SPECIAL OPERATIONS RESCUE TEAM!!!😃😂
This is legendary! So good! So much heart in that era of cartoon themes!
The theme song Easter egg in the New Duck Tales is so amazing. It made me so happy they are reviving the old shows in Duck Tales. It would be amazing for them to bring back all the classics. And introduce a lot of kids to great cartoons.

+Luken Delzeal Most 80's cartoons had awesome themes.
This is from the 90's.
Even though some of these shows may not have aged well. Their messages still holds up extremely well. DuckTales taught you your family is a lot more important than everything, including money. Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers taught you everyone can make a huge difference no matter how small you are. So here's my question to you, Disney: What message does crap like Hannah Montana have? For instance: It's OK to live a double life as a Death-Metal-Punk-Drug abusing rock star at the early teens as long as your parents don't know about it?
You sir, have completely nailed it!
Simon Wentworth
Indeed he has.
That's not really fair. You can't judge Disney or that show for Miley Cyrus' actions of today. She's been an unusal scandal-free teen celebrity in her Hannah Montana days. It's a shame she has let herself down that much. I know it's a tough business but how can one be so reckless with all the responsibility? Whatever, I never liked that show, but I can see why it has been so popular. In fact, it's the same what you have said before with DuckTales and Rescue Rangers. Children need role models and the same goes for teens. You can say what you want, but something that drums up so much enthusiasm and fascination in its target audience must give them something.
And when I watch modern Disney shows like Phineas and Ferb or Gravity Falls that have alot of good messages, I still believe Disney is Number 1. Old shows, new shows... what's the difference? ;)
True. You're right about the MESSAGES. but the some of the shows i won't watch because they aren't good in my eyes.
Drace90 if you are looking for teen shows go watch animé (some of the have a great way of showing how tough teen life can be or are just really good written)
This song is so good I find it hard to think that it's a cartoon theme song. I've been used to the concept of cartoon theme songs being simplistic and mostly expository.
+Maverick Hunter X there are a TON of cartoon songs/tunes that make real songs that are sold from an album look cookie cutter. Pick almost any song from Jem and the Holograms or instrumental from GIJoe or Transformers and I'd listen to that more so than any song out today.

+Jl Smith As opposed to now, now cartoons aren't actually cartoons, they're...uhhh...grilled cheese sandwiches?
In all seriousness if you're trying to say cartoons are too serious or aren't silly enough there are still plenty of quality shows like The Amazing World of Gumball and Harvey Beaks that have a very toony style and sense of humor.
+Mr. Cow
Perhaps he means more traditionally styled animation. I'd agree if that's the case.
+D. A. Smith Same. I agree the writing on adventure time and other shows are good, but the animation style is cheaply done. It just doesn't look as good.
+Jl Smith That's the cry of your soul bro.
