Love the setup
Great setup.
I love the cats!! Chickens as well
How did you run your electric supply from the house? Did you have to bury it?
Right now it is not buried, until we get our fence lines installed at least. It is UF-B romex so it is OK to be exposed for now
@@meadowgreenfarm I'm getting ready to run electric to an outbuilding also and was curious how you did it. Thanks for the. info
We just put a 50A breaker in the house, ran the romex above ground and put in a sub panel in the Barn. So we have disconnects in the house and at the barn for service. I have a video a little bit back on the barn wiring if that interests you.
Why not use wing nut instead of a regular nut much easier to remove just a suggestion. Larry
That was originally my plan until I saw the cost difference, great suggestion though!
Just my 2 cents but why use a bolt at all? The chickens can’t lift it
The bolt is to keep the plywood wall from splaying out, or coming away from the wall. Just holds it in place is all.
@@meadowgreenfarm gotcha. It just looked pretty secure without it. I won’t doubt you. You are there in person so you would know best. Much respect!
