Mango float is a very easy Filipino no bake dessert. It’s made from the layers of graham crackers, cream and slices of ripe mangoes. Then chilled until the graham crackers are soaked into the cream as a result is a cake-like and taste like cake. This kind of dessert has many names like refrigerator cake, ice box cake, frozen dessert. It’s a very popular dessert because you don’t need baking to produce a cake-like dessert.

Mango Float Recipe
Ingredients
3 ripe medium size mangoes, slice into strips
2 (200g)pack Graham crackers
2 (250ml) all-purpose cream, chilled overnight
1 (380g) big can condensed milk
Procedure
1. In a bowl beat using hand mixer 2 pack(250ml) all-purpose cream(chilled overnight) in high speed. When it double its size add condensed milk and beat until well combined. Set aside or let it chill in the ref until ready to use.
2. Arrange graham crackers in a deep container. Fill gaps with bits and pieces of graham crackers.
Put cream on top of graham and spread evenly. Add strips of mangoes on top of the cream.
3. Add another layer of graham crackers, spread cream on top of graham and strips of mangoes on top of cream. Repeat process until you reach desired number of layers. I made 4 layers of graham crackers, cream and mangoes on this recipe.
4. Cover and chill in the refrigerator overnight to let the graham soaked into the cream. The result is a cake-like texture and cream is so smooth and creamy.

Very economical recipe, this is good during the season that mangoes are expensive👏
Actually on the second layer i started waiting the mango, NONE, 2nd layer im excited to see it but still, NONE. On the third layer i was so disapointed when i still dont see the star of the show....but then the long wait is over...FINALY i saw it on the top.👏👏👏

I don't freeze my mango float though but refrigerate them for at least 4 hours or overnight. And I agree with other people thst it should've had more mangoes than it did. And I'd like to add crushed graham crackers on top too. Or per layer. Because I love Graham Crackers, not gonna lie.

Nice mango float, I’m Canadian who is living now in Phillipines with my new family and my wife makes it much different then this and here in Ventral Visayas it’s norm. As cream expensive for them they only use condense milk and mango piece’s go after each layer as mango very cheap here and it even grows in our backyard.
I’d like to know next time when I go back home after pandemic is over how it will be made in our local Filipino restaurant in Toronto.

For practicality ( nag titipid) and asking why she didnt put mangoes on each layers you may used mango flavored condensed milk or add some mango flavoring you may also used mango pulp instead of slice from the bottom upto the middle layer then slice mango on top since medyo may kamahalan na ang manga ngayon..😆
Plan ko po gumawa, try ko din ung every layer may mango. Mas ok yata ang Alaska crema kesa sa nestle cream, solid cream mas madali ilagay sa mango graham.

Aq paggumagwa aq every layer may mango slices xa tas pagumagawa din aq ng sauce ginagamitan q ng blender coz hinaluan q xa ng mango, minsan with evap milk pa para marami aqng nlalagay na sauce tas ung last layer q naman una sauce tas crushed graham na mejo manipis lang pagkaklgay tas lot of cube mangoes, sobrang yummy kya heheh

With thousands of islands, even the same languages can be spoken differently in the Philippines, but every Pinoy I know uses mangos in each layer. Also, the cream mixture does "set up" after chilling, but still seems very thin here compared to any time I've seen the float made. Just the opinion of a hungry Kano here.

Your right. Last time our filipino friend would make mango float I could feel the mango around the middle and it was a bit more liquidy. That's why I was planning adding in between the layers. Also she uses a different cookie.
