      Thanks for watching. Generally my videos aren't considered educational or travel vlogging style. I primarily take photos first, video second, and I made these videos for myself to watch to relive these moments.

    Thanks for sharing. It is a very beautiful place. I have not seen the crabs in the market so are they edible?

      thanks for watching. They are only local to christmas island, and they are not to be eaten. Unofficially they are protected by the island , and the large robbers crabs are protected by UNESCO.

    Are the crabs edible?

      I'm sure you should, but its frowned upon. Only ones you can't eat are the coconut crabs. You will be fined thousands of dollars if caught killing or eating them, as they are protected
