I don’t think the lyrics are synced for “Tachanka”. Shouldn’t it be Priamurskaya Tachanka, not Komsomolskaya Tachanka? There are other things that sound wrong, but I don’t know what to replace it with. Good video though.
I believe so, yes. Thank you for pointing it out
@@cortexradio No problem, you should uplod more Soviet propganda animations like this, they’re very well done.

Relatable
"There, Far beyond the river" is I think the only song to ever bring me to tears, so beautiful and sad. I love it.
"My Fatherland is Dying" is a good one too, although its a White Army song

This really feels like a piece of art than a propaganda. This is Beautiful!
The same scenes or the cuts are used pretty repeatedly, but it was very nice because of how the director produced and used them. The scenes were beautiful and, actually the frames of animation itself was very smooth! Very Beautiful!
It's just as much propaganda as The Patriot, Saving Private Ryan, or Top Gun is.
@Bob-bs9ok Yeah. That's true. Anyone who sees these knows that it is a propaganda thing, but all of them are also a nice piece of artwork.
Btw, I can't agree that Private Ryan is propaganda. Showing cutoffed arm of a soldier and a soldier trying to pick it up with blown up mind, crying for help while his guts are all out.
plus propaganda is not necessarily a bad thing
@@Beak7861 a good propaganda movie is a movie that mixed fact with Patriotism. Yes, it show the true nature of war but it also show how brave and great the American soldiers are. They even neglected the British involvement in the opening.
Don't get me wrong. Saving private Ryan is a great movie.
Thank you very much, I'm so glad someone remastered this animation
I'll be honest, I didn't do the remastering. I found the remastered video on RUclips and added the subtitles lol

@@niekolejarz Funny because as someone living in western Europe I see it the other way around.
@@likeabossk4055 USSR literally installed puppet regimes while US allowed free elections
@@likeabossk4055 funny, because that makes no sense. Russians had to create their own puppet goverment, while the west was installing legal goverments in exile. Soviet Union forced nations of central Europe to adopt communism, while in the west there were free elections. If you really think that, you just don't know history of for example Poland
I’d been searching for a full version of this for a while now. Absolutely wonderful! ❤️
Every country has to have stuff like this, just make a compilation of each song from a given conflict/time period of a countries history and animate it all in a heavily stylised fashion.
This is certified hood classic
The Official Seal
I've seen pieces of this scattered across the internet, well done for finding the original
I only ever saw the part of the Tachanka song, now having seen the whole animated film, I can safely say they were truly great musicians, artists and singers. Very great songs and storytelling, especially loved how in the "Echelon's Song" the speed picked up along with the trains speed.
What is special about these songs? This is just plain propaganda that doesn't make any sense. Its all about violence against the wrong ideology.
@potander7932 What exactly do you mean by "violence against the wrong ideology"?
These songs were written during the Russian Civil War, where the people rose up against the Tsar's rule, they fought for peace, food, and rights. They knew they were losing the First World War, and in such scenarios, that being a Civil War you obviously write songs against the other side, plus all of the songs here do have a historical basis, such as Tachankas being widely used by Anarchist and later the Red Army as a mobile strike force.
The echelons song is also based on historic events, where trains were often used both as mobile bases (such as in Trotsky's case) or as a quick way to assault enemy positions like in Tsaritsyn (later Stalingrad and now Volgograd).

Eternal glory to the red october revolution! I shed tears upon the first watch.
Вы - УМНИЦА
Its so interesting just seeing this. Its mesmerizing to watch, great care was put into making this and it beautifully shows even if its low budget/technological restraints are shown. Aside from the message, amazing.
The message isn't too bad as its about the Red Army's victory during the Russian Civil War, but yeah I agree, it is a wonderful piece of history
Спасибо! Впервые нашел целый, в хорошем качестве мюзикл. Только вот в тачанке перевод неверный, современный, не такой как тут.

I quite like this particular rendition of the second song, there's something about the singer's voice ^^

I knew Tachanka was gonna be in it :D
all though this is most certainty without a doubt soviet propaganda, i cant help but appreciate the amount of work, and dental in this musical. the way they animated the songs fits so well. One of my favorites has to be Tachanka, because of how chaotic the animation is at times. it matches the song perfectly. This has to be one of my favorite animated films because of its animation style, which manages to fit each of its songs very well.
How is this 'propaganda'? its an artistic retelling of a part of russian history.

I must always laugh when I see the picture of Germany...
The Red Army lost their battles against the German Empire in 1918...Just sayin
Propaganda, what do you expect
Thats ain't no german officer. It's White Army officer. You can easily detect it by white pants with red stripes and upper part of uniform being khaki. Also the nagant revolver in left hand (Very popular handgun during civil war) and whip in right hand (Whip is universal symbol for serfdom in tsarist russia, which depicts this man as someone who will bring back bad old times). German crosses on his chest is most likely painter's mistake. German Iron cross though is quite similar to russian imperial St. George's cross. Also along with german cross he is having star of St. George.
