Just keep playing the way you want to, have fun, use whatever weapons you want, go through this as blind as possible, haha. Be sure to explore everything and visit old areas as you progress. Talk to all NPC's multiple times throughout the game as you progress as well. Happy hunting! BY THE WAY, Blood-Starved Beast has a nickname in the Bloodborne community known as Suzie Skinflaps. We call her that because that "floppiness" you see is actually her skin peeled forward from her back. You're welcome. 😂
deserves more views, shits silly nice to see ppl playing this game still :)) also try locking on more, you get a dash which is so much better than the roll, also try dodging into attacks more

weapon tip- If it looks like it could shred (or looks serrated), it does extra damage to beasts. If it's a weapon used by the Church (such as described by in weapon descriptions), it does extra damage to enemies of the Church (mainly in Cainhurst). If it can thrust, it does extra damage to aliens (yes. Don't question it). Fire paper for beasts, bolt for aliens. Also, you can get into the back of Iosefka's Clinic through the Forbidden Woods, which kickstarts a nice side story that does indeed include our good friend Alfred. that is all I will say. Good hunting.
Protip: Transform combos do more damage. Your bread and butter is gonna be R1>L1>L1>L1 etc whenever you get an opening to cut loose. Also the chain gun guys loot goes to the top of his tower if he falls off when you reload
@@astrayscot R1-L1-L1-L1 will continuously do transform attacks, you don't have to feed additional R1s in after the initial one. If you start with an L1 it'll just transform over and over, but as long as you start with an R1, a quickstep, or a roll, you can continuously L1 after that and do repeated transform attacks until the attack chain completes
@@astrayscot More/chained L1's are possible & do give more damage but it does use a bit more stamina I think than alternating R1 & L1, so it's dealer's choice really. 👌
You can get some good stagger damage if during a light attack you hit the mode switch button. Looking forward to seeing you succeed in future fights! Keep it up
Just a few quick tips. The big guys with the bricks always drop 3 healing vials. You can farm them very close to the 1st lamppost to get lots of healing. They same can be said about the old man on the bottom floor of the shortcut house near the 2 werewolves. (Wheelchaair guy that tries to ambush you) he always drops 5 bullets. Other then that enjoy the game!!

It brings so much memory , being picked up for the first time by Amygdala 7:30 . And all other stuff . It's nice to look at the game through the eyes of a beginner) So much fun. Thanks for playing🔥🔥
If you go through the broken window you found when you were rolling around in the first video you'll find loot like the spear saw (which is one of the best weapons against beasts as its serrated in both neutral and transformed mode) and you'll also find an interesting NPC ;)
You said in the first episode to give you tips so as a lady who's first ever platinum trophy was this game I bring you three of em 1. There is no "right form" of your weapon, as your actually meant to combo them using their transform attacks(press L1 to transform after using an R1 or R2 attack and it'll do a special animation that both attacks and transforms) the reason why you want to do this is for higher rally potential(healing by attacking after getting hit) and, later on, higher beasthood damage(a special buff in this game that you'll find that works kinda like the Winged Sword Insignia/Rotten Winged Sword Insignia from Elden Ring) 2. In Bloodborne if an enemy drops a key item and the enemy dies by falling out of bounds the game respawns the item where they were standing, that said the item dropped by the mini gun tower guy(his name is Djura btw) is a key item(specifically a badge) so it'll be back on top of the tower, and you definitely wanna get it because Tip #3. Badges in Bloodborne work like how Bell Bearings in Elden Ring do, they increase the amount of weapons and items sold at the shop, so you really wanna try and collect them all that way every weapon is available for experimenting with so you can learn your favorite 👍☺️
I really envy people who can go from one style of play to another as quickly as you do...I can default Ishin in 3 tries max...but going to another game would take me a lot more tries...to get the hang of the style of play...good job man
Yes thank god you figure out more about the combat. You could have got all this info by reading the messages. Come binding combos when transforming the weapon is a big BIG benefit.
Great video! Btw, the hat you bought from the Messengers isn't actually the hunter hat from the cover of the game; you have to pick it up somewhere in Central Yharnam :)
I didn't play Bloodborne when I beat it back in 2015, I mean I downloaded on my PS5 but just forgot about it...I decided to play it last week and still amazed like a mfr on how good it still feels and looks. This was the Game that lead me into all the Souls games and never looked back, great introduction. I'm hoping for a Bloodborne 2, exclusively for PS5. ILL EASILY DROP 100$ for Bloodborne 2 game. I don't think I ever played Bloodborne DLC maybe I'll try for that.
Try chaining some attacks with the trasnformations (R2/R1-L1-L1-L1), its a good way to keep the preassure on some fo the bosses and bigger enemies. AND the giant axe dude outside of Oedon Chapel can be staggered if you do a fully charged R2 onto his knee after he does the big slam attack. You can go in for a viceral after that just go up to his face. I've only ever been able to do it with bigger weapons in their transformed state! Also there are unique attacks after dodging that you can combo together including transformations (Dodge - L1/R1/R2) Man I love watching someone play Bloodborne for the first time. Wish I could experience it for the first time agian. Can't wait to see more!
9:20 that door right there is the door that is directly behind the cleric beats fight and would have been a shortcut but the ps4 wasn’t powerful enough for that much interconnectivity between areas.
I need more!! Love the vids, also you can befriend Djura (the hunter at the top of the tower) if you make your way to him with out attacking for killing any monsters. Just a way to get some cool unique diologue.
A few tips. The item the guy dropped if you log out log back in it respawns at the ledge where he fell. Those little crawling guys you called "gremlin" are basically loot goblins they drops gems or items. Guns are only meant for parrying unless you build Bloodtinge. That increases all projectile damage. The bosses (and to large extent the regular enemies) ACTIVELY discourage backpedaling and can and will chase you. You wanna dodge toward them to the left and right or side to side. Almost never backward. The bosses in bloodborne live off this principle. "Oh you running? I took offense to that."
I recommend finding and using the rifle spear most people say its bad but you just have to use it properly It seems like the type of weapon you would enjoy using
Awesome vid keep kicking ass brodie. Bit of advise tho save/quit & reload to get that item on the clock tower and the little "gremlin" is a eldritch crystal lizard.
There are papers in the game that you can apply to your weapon. There's some before Blood-Starved Beast, for example, that are fire papers and significantly increase the damage you do to the boss.
“I had the titular line in Bloodborne!” Whenever an item gets stuck like that, quit out and it’ll either be on the ground or up where they were originally positioned
Tips for beginners: your greatest enemy during the Cleric Beast fight is the camera, so don’t lock on (or unlock the camera when close to him), makes it a much easier fight; your greatest friends during the fight are Molotovs and oil urns (whatever they’re called), apply oil, apply Molotov, repeat.
Playing it for the first time too! Not the biggest fan of fromsoft games, but damn this is definitely their best. The atmosphere and combat are great! Still have to grind sometimes and still not a fan of limited checkpoints. But really enjoying it overall!
You gotta switch forms mid combo. You can change forms with pretty much every command, like after rolling, dodging etc. It's very good with some weapons cause does a lot of damage or special moves.
You’ve probably already got it, vet just in case- For the party timing, the bullet has to hit the enemy after they finish reeling back and start swinging at you, the timing of which obviously varies from attack to attack but also from gun to gun.
"I'm surprised I haven't been punished by just walking through a door like that....maybe that's just a dark souls thing" oh my sweet summer child no no no no lol
I just bought Bloodborne with the Old Hunters DLC about two weeks ago, I have beat it with 4 builds/characters and currently working on the 5th. You're gonna love it, crazy good game. I'll give you a tip or two that you might already be aware of. After beating the Blood Starved Beast in Old Yarnham you have access to Chalice dungeons. If you do the first one, it has three layers to it, and three bosses, you can access a ton of False Depth Dungeons by looking them up on RUclips or Google. You can get sick weapons early in the game, the good Caryll Runes, and look into farming Cursed Blood Gems for your weapon, that with Fortifying it with Blood Shards, Twin Shards, and Chunks throughout the game will make your weapons spread enemies' butt cheeks. Just look up Lost or Uncanny versions of whatever weapon you want to try and there will be a Glyph you have to type in and access it. For example one glyph will be something like Rz2xju5h or Jgn2jkkw or Dgt23fwp or a really popular one is Cummmfpk, they can make you super OP if you want to get a build together quickly or help tremendously you are struggling. Getting good at gun parries and using the rally mechanic to be aggressive when optimal, some enemies are dealt with by slowing down, playing defensively and using the gun parry, Clawmark Tier 3 Rune is great for that, and some enemies are best dealt with by R1 spamming them into oblivion and being super aggressive and tanking their attacks. Some require a combination of the two. That's all I'll really say, if you want to forego that, I totally get it, I didn't access these False Depths until very far into my 4th playthrough. Anyways hope you end up loving it as much as I do, and may the good blood guide you fellow Hunter...
Hunter badgers add new things to the shop and if you save and quit, you can get the items that dropped off the hunter on the mini gun at the place you fought him
I"m upset that you missed the coolest NPC in the game AND the best drip in the game. Both can be found in the beginning area before Father G. Go back. Find the Crow!
I don't know if anyone has mentioned it, but Bloodborne has a posture system too, like later souls games of FS. Every limbs of boss has its own posture hp, so you can "break" limbs. Of course, its premise is that the boss can't be limbless.
The item you could't reach spawns back at the top of the ladder. I had the same happen to me.
Just exit the game and boot it back up, that works
You need to go back up the tower though, it won't be in the same place but it will be to the side of the gun on the tower.
If I'm not mistaken, you should be able to rest that unreachable loot by reloading the area. Just go to the hunters dream, and go back to where the hunter was standing. Your reward should just be sitting there.
Also, kill the little crawling guys! They're the teardrop scarabs/crystal lizards of this game

Love seeing people play Bloodborne for the first time. Can’t wait for more Soulsborne content !!
deserves more views, shits silly
nice to see ppl playing this game still :))
also try locking on more, you get a dash which is so much better than the roll, also try dodging into attacks more
i recommend going back to the sewer area in central yharnam and where u rolled on the barrels go through the entrance and cut down some dear bodies and one of them drops a better saw cleaver and before you drop down from the entrance turn right then follow the path until u see a opening to the outside and u can see a hunter named eileen talk to her and start her questline (she has one of the beet questlines in the game)
and the alfred guy you talked to was a important character for later on
another thing is after you beat the bsb u can unlock a area in the cathedral ward go to the lamp and the door to ur right is open
"a better saw cleaver" lmao
@@nicholaspezzoli3252he’s not wrong, the saw spear is serrated in both forms whereas the cleaver is only serrated in its base form so the spear is better but it has a slightly altered moveset.
7:36 considering this game is heavily based off of hp love craft and has outer gods and shit i think what lifted u up in the air was a star vampire look it up
Classic lock-onto-Cleric-Beast issue. Happens every time, congrats on the clear regardless though!! :DD You're doing great!
weapon tip- If it looks like it could shred (or looks serrated), it does extra damage to beasts.
Holy friggin chiggle slaps that dude had a fricking op weapon this is why i fought him legit
Protip: Transform combos do more damage. Your bread and butter is gonna be R1>L1>L1>L1 etc whenever you get an opening to cut loose.
Also the chain gun guys loot goes to the top of his tower if he falls off when you reload
R1-L1-R1-L1. You want to go back and forth, not just mash L1. That won't do anything but transform the weapon over and over.
@@astrayscot you're absolutely right good catch on my auto pilot l1s lol
@@astrayscot R1-L1-L1-L1 will continuously do transform attacks, you don't have to feed additional R1s in after the initial one. If you start with an L1 it'll just transform over and over, but as long as you start with an R1, a quickstep, or a roll, you can continuously L1 after that and do repeated transform attacks until the attack chain completes
@@astrayscot More/chained L1's are possible & do give more damage but it does use a bit more stamina I think than alternating R1 & L1, so it's dealer's choice really. 👌
keep up the w quality content bro
Will do 👌
After over 500 hours in game, I learned at 17:34 that you can parry BSB
You can get some good stagger damage if during a light attack you hit the mode switch button. Looking forward to seeing you succeed in future fights! Keep it up
Just a few quick tips. The big guys with the bricks always drop 3 healing vials. You can farm them very close to the 1st lamppost to get lots of healing. They same can be said about the old man on the bottom floor of the shortcut house near the 2 werewolves. (Wheelchaair guy that tries to ambush you) he always drops 5 bullets. Other then that enjoy the game!!
Haha I like the memes that ur adding! Every video gets better hope u remebered me lol been a while since I stopped by 😅
i used to play bloodborne back in like 2020 2019 but then my ps4 broke. so happy to see you playing this. keep up the good work and good luck
Dude same it’s been my favorite for years but in 2021 it broke and I haven’t played since so I just watch new people play it 💀😭
I always find it interesting where a lot of dark souls communities drop a “git gud”, “I beat it on my first try”, and “you think that’s bad…”
And Bloodborne fans are out here giving helpful advice to improve your experience
Hunters hunt together.
Watching him continue to miss his chance to figure out the value of the little loot critters was frustrating 😂
Literally had it cornered and let it disappear!
ok im hooked im hanging on every upload so please continue the great work
It brings so much memory , being picked up for the first time by Amygdala 7:30 .
You said in the first episode to give you tips so as a lady who's first ever platinum trophy was this game I bring you three of em
1. There is no "right form" of your weapon, as your actually meant to combo them using their transform attacks(press L1 to transform after using an R1 or R2 attack and it'll do a special animation that both attacks and transforms) the reason why you want to do this is for higher rally potential(healing by attacking after getting hit) and, later on, higher beasthood damage(a special buff in this game that you'll find that works kinda like the Winged Sword Insignia/Rotten Winged Sword Insignia from Elden Ring)
2. In Bloodborne if an enemy drops a key item and the enemy dies by falling out of bounds the game respawns the item where they were standing, that said the item dropped by the mini gun tower guy(his name is Djura btw) is a key item(specifically a badge) so it'll be back on top of the tower, and you definitely wanna get it because
Tip #3. Badges in Bloodborne work like how Bell Bearings in Elden Ring do, they increase the amount of weapons and items sold at the shop, so you really wanna try and collect them all that way every weapon is available for experimenting with so you can learn your favorite 👍☺️
I just got it yesterday and it’s very good :))
“Did I really get baited by drip??” - me when I spent too much on clothes
You're amazing! I didn't managed to kill Blood Starved Beast in such few attemps. I really enjoy your videos!
Just came across this video now , love it. I have a max level character and just started a new one fresh in 2023 .This game is still amazing
Pro tip, father g armor aside from the hat is the second best armor in the entire game and you basically get it right off the bat
That loot in the sky is a glitch that was never patched out
I didn't play Bloodborne when I beat it back in 2015, I mean I downloaded on my PS5 but just forgot about it...I decided to play it last week and still amazed like a mfr on how good it still feels and looks.
You definetly have to play the dlc, its the best fromsoft dlc and completes the game so perfectly, also really difficult, expecially the last part ;)
@@lorenzopeverelli7819 I was looking up how to activate it but was confused but I think I got it now. I'm gonna check it out soon.
Thank you so much for reminding me of the secret tunnel song, you're a man of culture
I love your vids 💕
9:10 I did the same thing in my first playthrough 😂 i couldn't resist to these pods
7:30 Oh boy he's just celebrating the new drip. Get eldritched!
Also there are unique attacks after dodging that you can combo together including transformations (Dodge - L1/R1/R2)
Man I love watching someone play Bloodborne for the first time.
Damn I miss this game. Need to dust off my ps4 and replay it 25th time..
I took offense to that."
now you know why hunters always go insane
Humble Vibe
I recommend finding and using the rifle spear most people say its bad but you just have to use it properly It seems like the type of weapon you would enjoy using
Awesome vid keep kicking ass brodie. Bit of advise tho save/quit & reload to get that item on the clock tower and the little "gremlin" is a eldritch crystal lizard.
There are papers in the game that you can apply to your weapon. There's some before Blood-Starved Beast, for example, that are fire papers and significantly increase the damage you do to the boss.
The crows will mess you up in numbers lol
I like that you use music from Hollow knight and Terraria calamity in the background!
Bloodborne is legit my favorite game that I've never played. Excited to watch this
You need to upload more homie! Loving the videos!
“I had the titular line in Bloodborne!”
Whenever an item gets stuck like that, quit out and it’ll either be on the ground or up where they were originally positioned
If you go back to the sewers in Central Yharnam you'll find the real "this is bloodborne" outfit. Unless you already did and I missed it somehow.
Love the use of the dung defender theme. Made me laugh. Also, hollow knight is the game that led me to blood borne
Playing it for the first time too!
Not the biggest fan of fromsoft games, but damn this is definitely their best.
The atmosphere and combat are great! Still have to grind sometimes and still not a fan of limited checkpoints. But really enjoying it overall!
at least u can save and exit for free and cummmfpk exists
Keep up the good work bro 👍
You gotta switch forms mid combo. You can change forms with pretty much every command, like after rolling, dodging etc. It's very good with some weapons cause does a lot of damage or special moves.
You’ve probably already got it, vet just in case-
For the party timing, the bullet has to hit the enemy after they finish reeling back and start swinging at you, the timing of which obviously varies from attack to attack but also from gun to gun.
great video, don't forget to double check every corner and every piece of land. there is fake walls but not often.
Between attacks if you change your weapon form it does special attacks
best advice i can give you, dodge foward, not backwards
diagonally forward*
Hunter badgers add new things to the shop and if you save and quit, you can get the items that dropped off the hunter on the mini gun at the place you fought him
11:40 mini gun lol 😂
Some things : you could check on Gilbert the guy at the central yahrnam lantern . And you could check at the clinic from the beginning again.
I"m upset that you missed the coolest NPC in the game AND the best drip in the game. Both can be found in the beginning area before Father G. Go back. Find the Crow!
I just got a PlayStation last week, and I absolutely love souls games and fromsoftware..about to start bloodborne for my first time as well 😈
welcome to the hunters nightmare great video thy hunter
I don't know if anyone has mentioned it, but Bloodborne has a posture system too, like later souls games of FS.
Every limbs of boss has its own posture hp, so you can "break" limbs. Of course, its premise is that the boss can't be limbless.
Watching someone else also experience the amygdala in the cathedral ward was literally like listening to me when it happened 😂
