What great light to really capture that almost dream like feeling you get when you're in a far away, amazing place doing something you love, and sharing that with people that you love. I think I know that mix of feelings when you were on your way to get the bucket. It's a sense of awe and adventure mixed with contentment, but also the desire for time to stand still ...or at least slow down. So you can enjoy the moment a little longer.
Man that day was so freaking much fun! Absolute chaos in the best way possible 🤣 I am so excited to upgrade my air abrasion set up so I can prep some more! I've got some ready to go onto the vibratory lap so fingers crossed! Had a blast with you guys! Looking forward to the next one already!!!!😁
Absolutely the correct format choice for this video!! That level of infectious excitement would have lost a lot through the translation of clipping this together separately. Bravo! Truly every rockhound’s dream scenario - walk up on a field of what you’re looking for, that has just weathered to the surface 🤯 May we all live to see the day when we have such a transcendent experience. Can’t thank you enough for showing me what I have to look forward to 🖤
Oh man I love this. Thank you so much for sending that. I was worried about the unedited and wind washed sound but also just loved the intensity of that 15 minutes. Thank you again my friend
Just love the excitement of you all. Nothing beats getting together with a bunch of mates and doing what you all love best. Brings out the inner child excitement. Love it. Cheers Jesse.
What a wonderful sense of joy that is palpable when yall found your turitella! I felt like this when I finally found the jasper motherload at a nearby lake that I learned of from Quest for Details. There’s not feeling like it! Thanks for another beautiful video, Jesse. ❤, Muh
Awww Rookie, you are awesome! You got dragged around for days after no sleep on a plane, to see pot after spot, after spot; and you never once complained! You my dear man, are a legend! And a gentleman! And that, is why we love you! You absolutely made Theo's wedding! Well, you and Alexis! But he couldn't imagine his special day without you! So thank you for not backing out! And dammit, next time bring your girlfriend, so we can just kidnap you both! So much easier then!!!💕 Oh yeah, you got some fabulous turritella agates and loose shells! Thanks Jesse!💕
Oh Largent it was the easiest environment to relax into just saying yes to whatever was planned. Mostly because I knew as soon as I met them that I was in good hands. I would hate to think of what I would have missed out on if I’d backed out. It was my favourite trip anywhere ever 💖
Rook, I think my favorite moment was when Derek was describing to everyone what to look for and your camera panned to the ground to the black rock and you said "well here it is, right here" so matter of fact. 😅😂. And then the excitement began!!! Love ya man.❤
Yeah man! You don’t know how excited I was that I’d already started recording. It was such a cool moment to have caught naturally. It was the most surreal and chaotic and fun half hour of Rockhounding I’d had in ages I had to share it hey. Love ya mate!
There is absolutely nothing wrong with raw video...we enjoy being along with you...not a Hollywood production because those are fake This is the real deal and I appreciate the honest excitement!! Well done!
Oh man.. that just makes me want to be there in that moment even more!!!! I need friends who love rocks as much as I do 😫 haha.. but seriously so good to see this side of it, Bro 🖤
Oh I know right! Having people like these guys to pick rocks with is the best! I’ve been pretty lucky but I have rock friends and not rock friends haha
@Rookie_Rockounding If I knew how to find rock friends, I would have rock friends also.. instead, I have one mate who I drag around, and blabber on about rocks to (even though he has no idea wth I'm on about 90% of the time)... I need rock friends who can help with identifying rocks and who know where the best hounding spots are... and maybe one rock bro with a bigger saw than my little tile saw... coz this crazy chick has some big rocks that are begging to be cut open.. oh and coz big saw = H to the L yes mf!!! I just don't know which rock they're all hiding under (hmmm I think this will be my new excuse for picking up so many rocks now.. I'm looking for where all the rock people are so I can make friends 🤣)
Maverick, GO GET YOUR BUCKET! Looks like you’re having a blast and you have the best hosts ever. Turritella agate, agate, chalcedony, flint…what else could you find? What an interesting place. So happy for you and the crew that you all found what you were looking for and more. HAPPY DAYS! 😉☺️🤓
The joy of sharing your journey and finds But for me it's the group rock nerds being.in.the moment. We have a crew of 4 who.so this kinda trip and we always get a reset and decompress
That was totally wicked!!!! Loved everything about it, especially the "Christmas like excitement" Quiz: How many times did Jesse say "I've got to get my bucket" before he actually got it? 😂❤
Jess, great video mate, you made the correct decision to show it as it is, that kind of find and excitement doesn’t come along to often, so showing it as it happens was the only way to capture the excitement. That material looks stunning. The feverish chatter just shows everyone’s excitement at the magnitude of the find. Great video. 🍻
You are definitely in windy Wyoming USA. I live in Colorado, the state just south of Wyoming. My husband is from the town just north of where Katie lives in Montana, she also lives 2 houses from my niece, and I too have hunted for agates on the Yellowstone and travel through windy Wyoming many times in the last 35 years to get there. Love the video. I’m so glad you were able to come to the States to see and find some beautiful rocks.
Hey Jessie, was so nice to see you in U.S.A with Theo, Kate and the others. It looked like you had a good time there and found a lot of different stuff that you don`t have in Australia
Nah nah nah bro... YOU are a legend... The material was legend... This trip was legend! What an amazing adventure with some awesome people and epic finds. I didn't realize it was uv reactive... I'll have to go check mine out! It looked phosphorescent too!! So cool. Glad you got to hunt for your favorite agate. Thanks for sharing the adventure. Looking forward to the next one. Cheers 😎
Gee it felt like yesterday when you uploaded your last video haha. I just watched theos video of this. It's literally freaking everywhere it's insane. Great video though. Love it.
The Agate shells are so awesome! I've been buying gemstones from Temu 🤦Flippin hec I love getting the parcels, but man do they have alot of deals etc! 😅😂🤣 Lol been waiting for ever for my ship to come in...I have a 2kg Rose Quartz Sphere coming! Is late, hope it's in one piece 🤞 Don't worry I slapped myself 😂 I have to confess when you were rock hounding out there, first up I couldn't see what you were all excited about, even after you did 😅 😂 I did see polished stuff like that on T 😊🤦 I'll have to check what they sell it as. Crikey!😂 Cheers
Oh man if you take it to the lapidary club they’ll know how to do it. Just not sure about fractures but I reckon little slabs and make cabs out of them maybe
You need to come to new hampshire i can take you to a beach that is a glacial dump. 3 miles of mountains of alluvial and weathered stones and you can find some good stuff when the weather is right. Or after a huge storm.
Hiya Jesse, awesome video Dude, I have found this material before but I didn't know there was a name for it. I've been making jewelry out of it. I just hope that I can remember the name of it😂. I hope you have a awesome blessed day. Cheers! Cya! 🐱🐟 out!
Jesse I hate pronouncing taxonomy in nature gives me the. ‘Irits’ at the best of time! The interesting adventure! How did you get you rocks back to Australia. 😅
Haha! I’m the worst for it cause it’s like my brain goes faster than my mouth or the other way round I think 🤣 So I had to be picky and go back through what I collected and only take back what I could in two extra suitcases haha. It was tough I tell you. I’m seeing rocks that I wish I had kept as I edit 😬🤦♂️🤣

My favorite too
