I was thrilled by this announcement. These are amongst my favourite droids in all of Star Wars. When they first appeared in the movies they seemed brilliantly made to counter jedi, but they never really lived up to their promise. Despite that, I love the design. You say "it looks absolutely amazing" and I have to agree with you.
I remember seeing them in one of the very early trailers and just thought they looked absolutely incredible! How they rolled and folded out, such a great design!! But yeah ultimately ineffective for something that looks so awesome! Thanks for watching mate! 🙌🏻

I was hoping this would be released .. have been yelling for this ever since they announced the battle droid and super battle droid. Hopefully the the legs are diecast .. I remember those 3,75” Hasbro Droideka eventually bent on the legs
My favorite mechanical battle roach is becoming a reality. I hope it’s diecast but I know it’s not - I think they’d have touted it as such. I ended up passing on the SBD because the reports were that it was so light. I know there’s debate over to diecast/no diecast, but I’m an old corgi/dinky toys diehard, so if it’s got metal, I’m a fan. As cool as this looks, I will likely pass. More for you guys. Cheers!

I love this so much but I'm worried it's going to feel like cheep plastic crap. I really like the other battle droids but in person they were just so cheap feeling despite looking very detailed and cool. Loving the news videos dude 👍🏻
They do feel cheap but fortunately they look great in the collection! So I’ve still got high hopes for this one even if it might feel abit lightweight. I mean they’ve got to make it robust so it’s not prone to snapping. Thanks for watching mate, I appreciate the support 🙌🏻

Definitely ordering one, probably 2 droidekas! I hope the spine bends, the photos all show the back flat as a board but it should be more of a S curve. But it's a beauty. Hope Grievous gets announced next!
Good point about the spine. Looking closely at the transformed mode it does look like it bends, but only very slightly. Hopefully it is fully articulated so you can get the curve out of it! Yeah Grievous will be an amazing announcement! Cheers for watching 👊🏻
They removed the comparison pic with the beige/tan TPM B1 battle droid (and the B2) from the slideshow. Need to buy two of these to display them in both modes. Also wonder if the 'nipples' will slide out (they are the shield projectors) as seen in the movie.
Hm wonder why SS removed the comparison pic. I know Sideshow don't like showing figures from different films mixed in so maybe they didn't want to show the AOTC B2 associated with TPM. Agreed, would really like 2!! Thanks for watching 👊🏻

I had expected a droideka but for ROTS twenty anniverary. I don't see the problem comparing them in a picture... I think they did not want to reveal the tan B1 yet. Or it's a marketing trick to create buzz... who knows.
Honestly legit heard from someone who works at Sideshow that they have a policy of not mixing figures from different movies. And these releases are branded to very specific movies. Although this was more related to their video content, it may still apply to imagery. on their site (even official HT promo material). But yeah no matter, the tan B1 has been on the SS Coming Soon page for at least 5 or 6 years, we're 100% definitely getting an announcement soon 😃

I still hope for tan and red B1 Security Droids, but the ochre B1s from AOTC are my favourite CIS unit.
Would like a few different variants of the B1. Like the command battle droid with the yellow markings etc
