    Honestly im disapointed i didnt hear about Steve Lacy before this album because his whole career is amazing and im so excited to see what he comes out with in the future. This album came out at such a perfect time for me and its got to already be one of my favourite albums of all time its just spectacular and as a aspiring musician has inspired me so much especially as he produced and makes a lot of his tracks most by himself.

    I've been with Steve since I was in middle school listening to "Steve Lacy's Demos" and finding out about him through Tyler's Flowerboy album and the band The Internet. I'm happy he's finally getting the recognition he deserves, and I'm excited to see his evolution.

    i have been listening to him for about 3-4 years and I'm disappointed that people haven't noticed him before. sure people loved dark red but he is honestly so talented and has to be one of the best music producers out here today.

    Saw Steve live at Coachella 2022 where he played some songs off of Gemini Rights (when it still wasn’t released) and it was absolutely magical. If you can, attend one of his shows. He is a MUSICIAN! He played guitar, bass, and sang beautifully throughout the whole set. Peace

    Everyone that likes Steve Lacy, should also check out Ravyn Lenae who he has collaborated with and produced for many times (Especially Sticky, Skin Tight, 4 Leaf Clover, the whole "Crush" album basically...) - she's amazing!

    This album is absolutely incredible. Truly a timeless masterpiece. I haven’t liked an album so much I know it from top to bottom by heart since Acid Rap (maybe A Seat at the Table too). Came out in a year with lots of other (very good) bigger name releases, but I hope as time passes Gemini Rights will be widely recognized for the work of art it truly is. Type of album that makes me wish I played & produced music myself for the sheer satisfaction of building something so perfect and sharing it with the world. Thank you Steve

    Helmet is my favorite on the album. The rain in the background, and the instrumental along with the subject matter of the song. It really spoke to me as someone whose been there before. That feeling of losing love for someone who you just can’t love anymore but still holding on. I’ve never seen a piece of work portray that in such a realistic way.

    Steve is the kind of success story that encourages me as a underground artist with a small following. Seeing how he’s developed his skills and slowly blown up after seizing each and every opportunity he’s been giving has been inspirational! Mans has quickly become a mainstay in the industry and for good reason. Dude is too nice! I know if I put in the work, I can reach a larger audience some day too, but for now, I’m happy being a supporter. My turn will come too. Salute to Steve Lacy🔥

    I have been a fan of Steve Lacy since 2017 and he has come a long way. I hate that his genius isn't truly recognized by new fans. All his albums have been amazing but this one is the ONE. I hope that he gets the recognition he deserves and not just fake fans who just recognize him for Bad Habit and the tik tok craze.

    Steve Lacy is great and hope his successes go even further.I can't believe he produced albums while he was a teenager is impressive.
    Sure he wasn't the only person doing it before adulthood but that shows he has built experience with his craft.Also it annoys me once artists like him or Tyler the Creator come out,media press them on their sexuality in their music more than anything else.

    encountered Bad Habit early July and I became obsessed, 'cause I'd just found out this girl I liked also liked me back but we ended up with different people. I was taking it at face value obviously. but then I heard to Static, that's when I became a fan. Like I listen to his full catalogue on Spotify at least once every week. It's not healthy.

    I am honestly so glad I found this video. The whole album is just so good. I love your take on it. And I couldn’t agree more with the things you say about each song lolol 😭 You literally have each thoughts I got. The groove of helmet, the “fucking yourself” line on static, the guitar solo at the end of sunshine 😩 And omg the influences of give you the world. I listened to that one nonstop because of the feel of it. 😌 Helmet ong my favorite track tho. Idk, it just always has me in the mood for it. But anyway shout out to you for making this vid.     I kinda made up my mind about him before hearing things about his true talent and artistry that I wish I would’ve heard sooner. I simply thought that because he was big on tiktok, that he only had one good song or part of a song. This video really changed my opinion about him.

    The majority of Steve’s genius comes from his music production- if you were to analyse his guitar chords, they’re incredibly complex. I’d love to see a video sometime that actually delves into this

      @@llsnickers2372 They can be repetitive but there are certainly are some stand out moments. I particularly like the chord progression on the second half of bad habit, especially how he used that flat 6. Not the fanciest thing ever but better than just four chords that switch every bar.
