hii! lovely video :) i will be hopefully starting my course at King's this September but i will be travelling from home as i live in London. how do i make friends during fresher's week if i have no roommates? do i just approach people there? and when will i typically get to know my coursemates. and do lessons start the week after freshers ?
You will definitely make friends!! Don’t worry! The best way to meet people is to go to fresher‘s events and socials. There will be fresher‘s events planned by your department where you will meet your classmates already :) after fresher‘s week, classes will start
The rooms are usually first come first serve, so it’s pretty much up to coincidence whether your flatmates study the same thing as you. My flatmates all study something different than me :)
with a degree in European Politics there is a great variety of possible jobs that one can get into. I personally have not yet decided what career I am going to pursue after graduating :)
