4K Driving from Sand Point, Idaho to Priest River, Idaho

Another dashcam driving tour video. Part of the Spring 2021 Western USA trip, June 14th, 2021. Day 15 driving west on Highway 2. Drive virtually throughout the West.

That little town where the speed limit sign was 45 is Laclede. The sprinklers spray the logs to keep them from drying and splitting. Riley Creek Campground is a state park that offers tent camping and RV “camping”.

Awesome, thanks for the campground info :) I always thought the logs were sprayed for fire prevention, what you said makes more sense.

I'm originally from priest river living in Mississippi now. I miss it a lot lol. The border town is called Newport washington

Cool, thanks! I couldn't remember the town name the day I drove through there. I plan on going back to the area next spring and explore the parks/campgrounds north of town. Mississippi has some great place to, I love the Spanish moss down there and the warmer winter nights :)

Definitely a beautiful quiet place to live and the winters are good too just beware of the roads
