The fridge also opens from the top due to the fact that heat rises and the cool air will stay in the fridge when you open in. It's another way they are them super efficient.
Or just go crazy with Li-ion and solar panels because you can't help yourself. On a serious note though, those fridges are absolutely awesome and they're super reliable in my experience.
Complete respect for the door sign. (Yes I took the time to squint and read it) No one should be so inconsiderate as to try and get more of your life than what you share through your videos, but mad respect for how you phrased your note.

when you cutting the hole, the edge should be rounded. Cracks will propagate from vibrations near the edges. If there is one thing I learned in mechanical engineering. Always round up the edges..
Van progress is looking great. Awesome contribution and quality work by all involved. So happy for Alex and it’s cool that you and many others are helping make it happen for him.
Great video Seth, and Alex I guess. What a difference having completed the wood on the walls and ceiling has made for soundproofing. I could tell during the part of the video where you were talking inside the van. Can't wait to see what is next.
Coming from a 4wd touring background in Australia I would aregue the solar panel should be mounted on an adjustable plate so it can be angled towards the sun and also in a quick release plate with an attachable extensionlead to position in the sun when at camp as most people will park in the shade And that’s a tiny solar controller which if the pannnal in 200watts or more you will not get nearly as much power amperage output
I love your videos. I love building things and mountain biking, and your editing and narration are effective, informative, and entertaining! Thanks for being awesome! And the jazz/latin music is relaxing haha.
Just a suggestion but i would put a small frame of wood or whatever around the edge of the desk and food-preparing area so if the car is not prefectly leveld, everything doesnt just roll of.
You can organize wires a lot better than I can. This is because I always use zip-ties and then I can never decide if I want it permanent and have to cut them every time I need that wire! Good job Seth!😃😃😃😃😃
one way to reduce the amount of movement or stress of objects within the van, a softer style suspension and tire set up may help you. Just so you know you’ll have a safer and smoother drive
Thank you for the video, I really enjoyed it. Just a note on the fridge. The style portable fridge you are using was invented by an Australian company, Malleys of Sydney and called an "Esky". Coincidentally, the one you are using "ARB" is also an Australian company . The overriding reason for the lid being in the top rather than the front of the unit, is not to stop things falling out, although this is an advantage. It's to prevent the cold air falling out of the fridge, which is what happens in a conventional front door style, which is less efficient...PS: I love the van and build...
@@1mostwanted253 A regular car battery is perfectly capable of setting things on fire or even welding. But as far as i can see there is a battery cut off switch installed.
Just a friendly hint make a bracket of the edge of the solar panel to incorporate a windshield wiper this is a beautiful thing to have when you are in areas with snowstorms or out west with a lot of dust . Also if you decide to have a washer Jet on the panel it’s best to have a stand-alone switch in the instance of ice .
For the battery/power system...you may wish to install a power converter that can be used to charge the system by "shore" power. I picked up an adjustable output 6-15VDC @60A converter for about $50 and adjusted it to 14.6VDC output to match the charge controller input. It works great for keeping my batteries charged when I am able to plug in to an external source. :)
Duke - happy birthday little dude, have a great time at Woburn. You never know you might bump into the GMBN boys, Mat Jones or even Sam Pilgrim? Keep shredding my dude
If you redo the seal you should use an Rv specific lap sealant or Pro flex. It is much more flexible then flex seal and handles uv far better. Great build guys.
First time i have ever seen someone use flex seal unironicly
That’s what was on the floor
What about the commercials?
Same
As soon as I heard that they needed a water tight seal...
I’d knew...
FLEX SEAL
I SAWWED THIS BOAT IN 2ALF
my brain click: NOW THATS A LOT OF DAMAGE
Wish I'd known instead of two part system that does same job but necessitated full face mask, still got high!
Flex Seal from now on, thanks
The fridge also opens from the top due to the fact that heat rises and the cool air will stay in the fridge when you open in. It's another way they are them super efficient.
yep, just like a cooler! When you’re living off the sun every watt counts
i think it's be hard to find one that opened from the bottom
Or just go crazy with Li-ion and solar panels because you can't help yourself.
On a serious note though, those fridges are absolutely awesome and they're super reliable in my experience.
arb makes good shit.
Glad I wasn't the only one thinking that
*"TO SHOW THE POWER OF FLEX SEAL, I SAWED A HOLE IN THIS VAN, AND REPAIRED IT USING ONLY FLEX SEAL* ( and some other stuff) *!!!!!!!!!* "
you have same profile pic as my friend
Now that's a lot of damage!!!!!!
DirtBikeMC80 - HOW ABOUT A LITTLE MORE!
Its fucking amazing how the moment he mentioned flex seal i assumed something like this would be the top comment lmao. i love you dude
I cut this boat in half
I SAWED THIS VAN IN HALF!
*THATS A LOTA DAMAGE*
I WAS GOING TO USE THAT JOKE
SO TO SHOW YOU THE POWER OF FLEX TAPE, I SAWED THIS COMMENT IN HALF
Of course some flex tape joke
AND I SLAPPED ON FLEX TAPE WITH THE POWER OF ZEUS
And put it back together with flex seal
“I SAWED THIS ROOF IN HALF!”
I so happy for another van video
me tooo cant wait for the next one
There is a like button for a reason
Marlin6Rider shut up!
ROS King why?
ROS King why?
_cuts hole in roof_
THAT'S A LOT OF DAMAGE
NO WE USE FLEX SEAL
When using flex seal, who else thought "I just saw this van in half" lmao
Thanks Seth and Alex... great to live vicariously, I am jealous!
*Thats alot of damage*
You are so cringe

thanks! People get stoked-I get it. The sign has eliminated the problem though.
how tf did you get to read it. Could you tell me what it says?
Major Tom yeah I can’t make out what it says either, only first word “Excuse”

kicking out alex part priceless 🤣
Can’t wait for the final episode and seeing it all styled up.

Thank you! Just.... yeah.
Would you sand them to do that? If so, what grits?
How would you do that?
Use a hole saw and cut 4 corners then use a jigsaw to connect the for holes.
Van progress is looking great. Awesome contribution and quality work by all involved. So happy for Alex and it’s cool that you and many others are helping make it happen for him.
This van so rad. It should be called the Radvan
ozan razi i agree!

get Claudio himself!
wade cox haha yep 👍🤣

WE WANT MORE OF THIS KINDS OF VIDEOS. Good production value as well. congrats on that. Very fun videos to watch.

Neither of those will make anything safe.
Not necessarily. Too soft of a suspension will make it very unstable (think back of a school bus)
good job on the wires because that is astonishing on how neat it is
"looks pretty damn precise to me!"
Love the heavy metal soundtrack while sawing the hole!
I watched Alex's video but this is so well produced that it's still entertaining
seth beats alex in production. And on the trails. But i like watching both channels
Nice work! You are going to love that ARB cooler! Big investment but worth every penny!
Drive this thing to whistler.
Loved that ending! Very creative.
Go on a track with all your bikes. Compare their times. We will see which bike is the fastest. Don't forgot on freak bikes.
(just video idea)
That video will be waaaaayy toooo long
This van is so impressive! Great job guys.
Where is PART 3?
POGMarineFPS The Reloading Bench I hope they do a part three
probably coming in a few weeks
I sure hope so, I REALLY need any advise I can get. I'm currently homeless and thinking of building a RV like this one.
they uploaded it on Crafted Workshop, he put a bed in it lol
i wish you luck then. get off the streets haha

You guys did an excellent job on that roof fan
The ending is how you know Seth and Alex are best friends.😂😂
The perfect van to go on roadtrips and festivals with.
Will you not need to increase the suspension after all this extra weight or is this something you've already considered
its a van, what do you think they are made for?
I think the suspension is made for extra weight because it is a van that is supposed to carry more weight, why would you have that extra space for xD.
Building my own van and this was very helpful for ideas thanks
I sawed a hole in this van

Hi Seth, have you ever had any strangers turn up uninvited and ride berm creek?
i think he might have. Considering his sign on the front door and he took off the berm creek sign
