I live in a University city. There are students & faucty from all over the world. I noticed the Asian students all started wearing masks in Oct. of every academic year. I got colds & flu until I started doing the same. When the COVID mask mandate arrived, it was't a big deal for me. I just kept doing what I was already doing.

Oh it looks gorgeous! I especially love the detail of "rounding it out" again, the shapes are so pleasant. But I wonder, do satellite dishes get hot under the sun? Like I'd imagine they have to be able to keep their shape/properties well since they're meant to go outdoors in the first place, but I have never actually touched one
They initially met on Adam Savage's "Savage Builds" show where all 3 had to build demolition derby cars. Edit: Sorry I'm wrong on the above. In Laura's video with those two, they said they collaborated on a couple things before Adam Savage's show, so they knew each other before that point.

When I was like 17 I made a chair with a tire and a satellite dish. Was pretty comfy but low to the ground and hard to get up from sometimes.
The only thing I was building at 7 was sand castles and trust issues (found out Santa wasn’t real 😅) and here you were designing chair. Gotta love it 😂❤

Oh it looks gorgeous! I especially love the detail of "rounding it out" again, the shapes are so pleasant. But I wonder, do satellite dishes get hot under the sun? Like I'd imagine they have to be able to keep their shape/properties well since they're meant to go outdoors in the first place, but I have never actually touched one
This one is steel, some other ones, notably the two-satellite versions, are fiberglass. They dont' get any hotter than any other material.
I just recently started watching Laura’s channel and was so surprised to see you both behind a camera! What a small world!
They initially met on Adam Savage's "Savage Builds" show where all 3 had to build demolition derby cars.
Edit: Sorry I'm wrong on the above. In Laura's video with those two, they said they collaborated on a couple things before Adam Savage's show, so they knew each other before that point.
There's an Adam Savage one day build where he and Laura build a soda bottle opener and Simone just HAPPENS to be in Adam's shop as well and pops in for soda bottle fun!
